Meraviglioso

Mi e piaciuto tutto, posto super curato fin nei minimi dettagli e molto pulito. Ottima colazione e Ottima la posizione con un bel parco difronte (con minigolf e pedalò). Coraline, la proprietaria, molto disponibile e serena. In più, visto che ero solo, mi ha cambiato di camera mettendomi in una più piccola abbassandomi il prezzo… super!!! Se torno a Chartres cercherò di soggiornare ancora qui

Escapade romantique a Chartres

Très bon accueil Jolie chambre à l’étage avec salle de bain indépendante Maison idéalement située pour visiter Chartres, tout est facilement accessible à pied Petit déjeuner varié et gourmand (œufs frais en direct du poulailler du jardin !)

L'échappée belle mérite bien son nom !

La maison est superbe, bien équipée dans les chambres. Le petit déjeuner était plus que parfait ! Le centre ville est très proche à pied pour visiter. Coraline est très prévenante, discrète et serviable à la fois. Une hôte parfaite !😉👍

Happy with our stay at L'Echappe Belle

My family of 5 stopped over for one night in Chartres. L'Echappee Belle was perfect for us. It is a beautiful, older house, lovingly renovated and run by Coraline and her family. It is set between newer buildings opposite a park which you can walk through for beautiful views of the cathedral and a scenic 10 minute walk into the old centre of Chartres. The house and courtyard are beautiful. There is decent amount of on street parking nearby and we had no issue finding a space. Rooms were clean, comfortable and we slept well. Coraline and her family were charming, helpful in advising us local events during the evening of our stay, great at communicating via the booking messaging app and provided a wonderful breakfast spread!

The house is set back on a main road between taller, newer buildings so we missed it when we first drove past! Look for red brick and greenery near corner with Rue Jean Laillet and you won't go wrong. The rooms were quiet and we had no road noise and were ultimately pleased with the location because it was such a short walk into the centre.

Perfect hotel in a perfect location

The room was well equipped and comfortable with a lovely shower. The location was perfect for visiting Chartres. There was a good selection at breakfast and the hosts were delightful. Would definitely recommend!

Lovely stay, with EV charger!

This is a gorgeous hotel with lots of character and modern comfort. We came in our electric car and were able to charge at the hotel which was fantastic!! Lovely helpful owner and very nice breakfast, I would highly recommend.

Period charm and great location

The property is an attractive period house in a walled garden. It is opposite a small park with footpaths to the centre of Chartres, easy walking distance away. The owner was very helpful and made us feel welcome and provided a safe parking space in the drive. The continental breakfast was generous with lots of choice.

Not a criticism of the property at all but the house is sited on a busy dualled road with a bus lane. Our sat nav took us all round the outskirts of Chartres so that it brought us down the correct side of the road to access the property. Luckily for us there was a free parking spot were we could wait as it is only possible to get into the accommodation at 17 00.

Lovely home in a good location to enjoy a stay in Chartres

Great location and within easy walking distance of the center of Chartres. Big, airy room with all that was needed for a good stay. Clean and tidy place and a lovely breakfast with a wide range of continental breakfast choices. Easy to find and lots of free parking around the property.

Some noise from the road but only because it was so hot we had the windows open. But not so noisy as to spoil the stay or spoil a good night's sleep.

The location was close enough to the centre of Chartres for us to walk into town and visit the cathedral and see the amazing lightshow. The room was clean and comfortable and the area was safe.

Superb

Breakfast was thoughtfully presented to us each morning. Coraline’s table was always inviting and serene, offering a wide array of breads, cheeses, fruit, teas, and coffee that set us up nicely for our days of touring Chartres. What made our stay particularly pleasant is the beautiful park located directly across the street. It’s a literal “walk through the park” on the way to the ancient heart of the city. Absolutely enchanting.

Perfect base for exploring central Chartres.

A lovely old building surrounded by newer ones. It was spacious and surprisingly peaceful. The host was particularly friendly. The room was lovely and breakfast delicious.

Nothing to complain about at all, unless you have something against squeaky floorboards!

Lovely surprise in Chartres

Lovely hotel and gorgeous room with a good breakfast. They were very happy for my dog Prince to stay. The old town of Chartres is just across the river and very beautiful.
