Excellent and gorgeous location. Really good support by the host.

No shelves to put any bathroom stuff - we put everything on the floor
Wifi in the far bedroom was non-existent - this was advertised in the message we got up-front btw - still it gave use some frustration as it rained a lot and we had to go to the kitchen to download episodes.
Illogical floor plan in case of 2 couples staying.

Gorgeous view, the fire pit outside was fabulous and created a lovely family memory.
Hard to provide an answer as we really enjoyed our stay but would have loved a pint of milk in the fridge rather than the UHT.

The property was lovely and spotlessly clean and extremely well equipped. it was also nice and cosy once the underfloor heating kicked in and comfortable throughout. The shower room was also nice and well equipped
Being a light sleeper and there not being blinds or curtains on the top part of the cathedral windows in the bedrooms meant that even the winter ambient light meant the bedrooms weren’t dark and comfortable didn’t sleep at all well.

Very well appointed with excellent bathrooms and a great kitchen. The view is lovely and the owners were extremely responsive and helpful, allowing a late checkout, great communications before and during our stay. Very private.
The position near a busy road means that it is quite noisy at night. Earplugs are provided to help with this! We had the window open so probably would be quieter with it shut.

Personal preference-Its such a shame you can’t enjoy the beautiful views from the kitchen/diner/seating area rather from the bedroom.

I loved the property so these comments don’t change that. Somewhere to hang clothes in the bedroom by the kitchen would have been useful. It was slightly inconvenient having to walk through one bathroom and bedroom to get to the kitchen. The weather wasn’t brilliant so accessing the kitchen from the outside wouldn’t have been nice. It was quite tricky getting in and out and closing the gate from the busy road. None of these things would stop me from staying again.

location was so good, lodge was lovely and clean and views were amazing. Love the under floor heating for the colder nights
the light coming in from the top windows in the morning. Made it a little less cosy when wanting to sleep in abit. Not a major issue but can imagine other couples thinking same thing.

I stayed here the night before my wedding in July, and I must say, the views were absolutely breathtaking - the perfect backdrop for photographs!!!
The inside was decorated to an exceptional standard, and everyone commented on the beautiful setting.
I will definitely be back!!

Lovely view, also very dark in the surorunding area meaning you can see all the stars at night, lovely, very helpful owner who directed our takeaway delivery guy on how to get to us - thank you again!
A little difficult to find, but the guy kindly waited at the entrance to the road to flag us down
