Extremely friendly and helpful, comfortable room

All of the staff really made our stay the best. They truly go above and beyond and I really made friends, I feel. Rudy, Eduardo and Mauricio are the best! We had a late flight getting in and an early flight getting out and they were able to arrange a ride for us. Truly the loveliest people. The food at the restaurant is also good.

Hip and super comfortable stay in beautiful city

Great location and design, lovely little restaurant (get the pancakes for breakfast!) and funky rooftop bar. Really nice room, loads of space and every amenity needed. Super quiet aircon important in Merida! Highly recommended

Great people, hotel, food - stop the techno!

The people were excellent! They organised some fantastic day trips for us. Food was excellent.

None stop techno, all the time, had to ask repeatedly for the music to be turned down so we could sleep

Exceptional

Staff was extremely friendly and proactive. The hotel offers free bikes that you can rent to get around the city. Also, it is located just next to Mérida's most famous strip - Paseo Montejo - which hosts beautiful restaurants and cafes. The design and detail of the hotel are absolutely incredible!

Beautiful boutique hotel but only moderate value for money

It’s a beautiful hotel located at a quiet side street off the boulevard in Mérida. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Bicycles are available for free to get around the city. Breakfast has nice options and is very tasty.

We booked the standard room, which turned out to be very small. No space to open two luggages and move in the room at the same time. While the room is very nicely designed, it’s rather impractical to use, e.g. a glass toilet door that is also not fully closing, the bathtub/shower was so small and partially open so it was leaking into the bathroom. A/C is there but directed right at the bed. There was a constant noise from machines (air filtration or the pool) at night, you may call it white noise but need to get used to it.

pool was super cold. No guests were able to use it because of how cold it was. restaurant needs to be faster. took about an hour after order was placed to get it to our table, overall restaurant experience was the worst

Great stay at the Diez Diez in Central Merida!

The location is great for being in the center of Merida. The decor is modern and fresh with comfortable beds. The staff are very friendly and work to meet your expectations. The drinks at the bar were nice on the rooftop and breakfast was delicious and large portions. Luis always made sure we were taken care of.

It's a smaller hotel and not all rooms have a king size bed. You will need to check directly with the hotel to confirm if a queen or king is available. We were a group of 4 and the hotel only had 3 bikes for complimentary use. It was not a problem though because the city is so easy to walk.

Stylish boutique hotel with nice staff and excellent breakfast

Stylish. Clean. Close to avenida Montejo. Helpful staff. Excellent breakfast.

Room #1 is a little bit noisy due to the traffic and music. Breakfast only starts at 8:00

more options for the breakfast would be great and the pomp on the roof made a strange noise the whole stay and the whole day :(

Not 5 star... really disappointing stay.

The hotel was beautiful and the staff were very friendly.

Sadly, on the day we arrived the hotel was very quiet and it appeared that they had taken this opportunity to do some maintenance work. This resulted in the pool not working for the 4 out of 5 days we were guests and them performing maintenance work at midnight, which is completely unacceptable. When I spoke to the hotel manager and explained that it was our honeymoon and I had specifically chosen this hotel, she offered us a free drink. Which again is unacceptable. I wish we had chosen somewhere else to stay with better facilities and with a room which we could have actually opened the curtains in without all other guests looking directly into our room.

loud music and restless nights

it was a very cute hotel. with great facilities

i couldn’t sleep or rest because of the loud music. they had speakers all over the place: in the lobby, reception, pool, inside area where the rooms access are, even in the restaurant. the vibration of the music gave me horrible headaches. so if you want a quite and peaceful stay- choose another hotel. I woke up at 1:40 and music was still playing and then I had to wake up at 8:00 for my meetings and guess what the music just started playing. It’s a hotel- not a beach club. Respect your guests.

The bathroom looks very cool but due to the design water went everywhere when you showered no matter how careful you were.

Superb

We stayed one night in this beautiful and luxury place. Alejandro, at the reception, gave us a lot of good advice to visit the city and for the rest of our trip. The hotel is really nicely decorated and located near the historical center. We recommend the hotel bar as the cocktails were amazing, the view really nice and the pool with changing colors very relaxing. The breakfast was included and the food and service were amazing. A big thanks to the hotel staff and especially Alejandro for being so kind, helpful, always smiling and professional.

The downside is that if you are travelling with friends, the room is not very convenient as there is no separation between the bed and the bathroom, only a glass door. One of us had to wait outside the room while the other was getting ready. It feels like the room was designed by a male architect and for male visitors or couples. There is no proper lighting in front of the mirror over the sink, there is a weird shadow. There is no full length mirror, the towels are a bit small and not a lot of hooks to hang them. These are small details, but it could really make a difference.

Well prepared and thought of! Area is close to Los Coloradas, Hotbox,Valladolid, Cancun, Bacalar by Car 2-4 hours if you truly want to see many places. It also resembles old town like Cuba. Everyone are friendly and very respectful. It’s a good place to drive and see so many beautiful cenotes.

Maybe play some chill ambient music in am ?

The architecture and design was fabulous. Small and exclusive. Others travelled to a destination wedding and came to our rooftop bar
