Sleeping up to seven, this charming house on a quiet street near the ocean is set up with everything you need to enjoy the gorgeous coastal town of Culburra with your family and pets. With its coastal décor and cosy vibes, as soon as you arrive and smell the sea salt in the air, you’ll already be settled in for a relaxing holiday.

With air conditioning and outdoor seating for the summer, and heaters and a bath for the winter holidays, this house is equipped for all seasons. For those rainy days, the garage has been converted into a games room, containing a dartboard, table tennis, foosball, lounge, and full-sized fridge. It’s the perfect undercover entertainment for adults and kids, and a welcome respite from the heat on sunny days. Your furry friends can be safely ensconced within the fully fenced garden too. Whether inside or outside, there’s plenty of room for everyone, although you’ll have to draw straws for the room with a queen bed and its own TV.

When mealtimes come around, everyone can gather at the table in spacious living areas—either inside or outside—and enjoy fish and chips from down the road in the air conditioning, or cook up a storm on the backyard grill to enjoy the sun and sea breeze. There’s even an herb garden if you’ve got a chef in the family, or a slow cooker if you prefer to let technology do the work for you. We have no doubt you’ll want to stay for a while at this gorgeous property, so take your time and appreciate all the options Tilly’s Retreat provides for you to come together or spread out and enjoy some alone time. For some quality bonding activities, grab a console controller or a board game and defeat your loved ones in a mighty battle of wits and skill, or choose from their book collection and read outside in the hammock with an espresso.

Once you’re fed and rested, it’s time to see the sights! The shining sands and sparkling waves of Warrain Beach and Culburra Beach are just a few minutes walk away, as is Penguin Head with its breathtaking view off the point of the headland with the ocean all around you. You can even hop in the car and drive the short distance to explore Culburra Beach’s local shops and restaurants; the owners recommend Bamboleo Pizzeria Café for dinner! Of course, Tilly’s Retreat will be waiting for you to come back, rinse off the sand in the outdoor shower, and settle on the deck with some cold beers to watch the sun set. For a magically unique experience, grab the telescope from inside and see how many constellations you can spot in the clear coastal night sky.

However you choose to spend your holiday, you’ll make precious memories of love and leisure at Tilly’s Retreat.

- We supply a number of basic pantry items at each property. We are, however, unable to guarantee the availability of all pantry items. 3 toilet rolls are supplied per bathroom. You may wish to bring additional supplies with you.
- Internet in regional areas can be inconsistent and uninterrupted supply is not guaranteed. We will not provide compensation for failure or unexpected unavailability of internet services.
- A small amount from every booking is donated to local charities — a booking with Professional Holiday Homes supports local communities.

Tilly's Retreat was an excellent property and felt like a real home. It was clean and tidy with games and games space for the kids which kept them entertained on our one day of bad weather. The kitchen had everything we needed, beds were comfortable and the outdoor deck with BBQ was great for meals with the sound of crashing waves in the background. Our two dogs were safe and secure in the yard and loved the two dog friendly beaches located a short walk from the property. Only recommendation would be to add a mirror in in the back bedroom or laundry/2nd toilet to help manage with single bathroom. We would choose to stay at this property again.

The property was in a nice location , unfortunately after 3 weeks of rain beaches were dirty. Our dog love it though. Just ask on an off chance if the lawns could be mowed as due to excessive the rainfall. Suprisingly enough they got cut on Saturday ,which was great for the kids & dog to play. We all had a good break.

We and our dog loved the place it was perfect it had everything you could want and then some more . The owners have put little thoughtful touches such as spices and condiments as well as a few Lavaza pods . I especially loved the gates on the property that we could lock the dog of in sections to keep them safe and out of the way . We look forward to returning soon .

Had a great time with the kids, the house was perfectly fitted out for our needs, good sized backyard and a garage full of toys for the adults and kids. Kitchen was stocked with all those bits and pieces you need (or forgot!) available in the cupboards. The best part is the location - walking distance to two beaches and the new playground up the road. We’ll be back!

Had such a lovely time at Tilly’s retreat. The property is spacious, and has a great outdoor area. Our little one loved it, as did our two pups. The house was very clean and had a fully stocked kitchen (appliances and dining ware) which made it easy to cook meals. We loved it and will definitely be back!

We had a great experience at the property, was exactly as listed...great proximity to the beach for taking our dog for beach runs and then walks for coffee. The house was great and worked well for two families. The outdoor space was perfect. We had a pretty poor weather weekend yet that didn’t seem to bother us as we had plenty to do at the house. This was a great house for the family and dog to stay. The beds were comfortable, kitchen had everything needed. The dog enjoyed running around the back yard. Few things could have been slightly cleaner (mainly in bathroom) but overall everything was excellent with a short walk to the beach and close drive to shops and off-leash beach. Only thing I would have liked is covers over the underneath of the house as the dog kept going under there to chase lizards. But no harm came of it so it was fine.

Would def rate it and stay here again. It has everything you need for a break- home away from home. Only negative I found was no flyscreen on the back door which was a shame as we kept the door open most of the time. And the outside steps were a bit steep and main ones into the garden had no rail - not good for my arthritis or our elderly dog who struggled a little especially when it rained and they got wet. But it was a beautiful house and stay.

The property was clean and well equipped, and we had a smooth check in process. We didn't enjoy the location at the house or surrounds. With blinds open during the day, we had little privacy as there are no trees screening views from the street or neighbours. A loud party at the house next door that went on until the early AM made for a bad night's sleep for all of us, and I was attacked at the local beach by an off-leash dog (we deliberately visited during the on-leash times but very few dog owners observed the signs). Still, most of what made our stay unpleasant had nothing to do with the property or owners, and was circumstantial.
