We had a very nice time and felt very safe in the location. I would book this unit again.

It was in a great location, very comfortable.

There weren’t enough bath towels and the dining dishes could have been a bit nicer.

Very functional, basic place to stay.

Overall it was a fine place to stay. The beach access was great. It had a hot tub and was quiet at night. Plenty of space to spread out. The space was clean as it could be.

The road noise was noticeable in our bedroom. The fridge froze some of our food despite being set to ~45 degrees. The washing machine didn’t work and we were notified 2 days before arrival and told to “pack accordingly.” A problem with the door pad kept us from going out to dinner one night because we were afraid we wouldn’t get back inside. I didn’t like the whole “if you use it up, replace it” vibe. If we’re paying at least as much as a similar hotel I’d expect enough toilet paper to last us our entire stay: two rolls wasn’t much for a week. And if we did use up what was provided, I can understand buying more for ourselves but not to just give it to the next people—it feels like we’re doing the management’s job for them.

Perfect week on Maui.

We liked the location, just steps from the beach. The condo itself was comfortably furnished, and felt very homey. Lots of room. Everything had been provided for a good holiday by the beach, right down to beach chairs, towels, and beach bag. The kitchen was perfect. We were able to get around well without a car, using buses and Lyfts. The pool was lovely. Hosts gave good instructions so that we were well prepared. Great, great condo.

Great location and amenities. Condo had everything we needed

Location, amenities, had laundry which was helpful since we were on the tail end of a long trip. Super nice place and great value.

Super tight parking spaces, barely enough space for a full size car. But always a space!

Functional but flawed

Quiet location; good wifi; pleasant neighbors.

"Stunning" is a bit of oversell. Acceptable, but at this price point there were many little issues. Dim lighting; insecticide smell that persisted for a few days; unwashed cooking pots (despite the $183 cleaning fee); insufficient lighting in the parking lot and outdoor walkways (which was a hazard during flash flooding); broken window blind cords; major construction work going on in the pool area, which is surrounded by chicken wire. "Lanai" is the loose definition; it is a inner-facing balcony, not on the ground. Ocean view is a sliver peek if one stands at the back window blinds and looks out through dirty glass. Washing machine worked, but its controls were stuck in a single cycle. What is the daily "service fee" for?

Glad we chose this property instead of a hotel. perfect for us!

Very nice and comfortable. Well furnished and well kept.

Great stay at Kihey, we will return...

Great condo, well equipped. Everything you need was available inluding beachchairs and waveboards. A good mix of local people living there and rental homes. All people living their like their community.

Exceptional

This condo has everything you need for a couple! It is clean and has all the resources there and is located perfectly near everything. We will definitely recommend it again! They got plenty of towels and accommodations and wonderful space. Love it!

Master bedroom does not have air-conditioning but we made it work. There is a air conditioning unit in the main room and the master bedroom has great fans.

Exceptional

Nice comfortable bed. The kitchen is great. The living room is nice and comfortable, too. Nice breeze came through the bedroom almost every night. We didn’t need the A/C at all during our February stay. I can imagine it gets warmer during the summer. Nice size TV to watch. Some late afternoons we played cards on the lanai until it was too dark to see. The beach towels, chairs, cooler bag and umbrella came in handy. We took them to to see the sunset at any beach we went to, along with going to the beach right across the street that had turtles who sunned themselves on the break wall rocks. Nice shallow water for smaller kids to spend the day, too. Great accommodating communication from the owners. Thank you!

This condo is closer to the street than most in the complex, so, you get some noise from the cars. The lanai light could be a little brighter. The bathroom could use a couple towel racks, one over the toilet and another on the right wall alongside the sink. Our hand towels laid on the counter during our stay. The hot and cold water is reversed on the kitchen faucet. This is not that we didn’t like it, just suggested improvements. What we didn’t like was leaving! LOL!
