Only positive: location great. Right near grocery store & close to Sundance Lodge.
First time I've had a VRBO with such misleading photos. When we received Vacasa arrival text asking how our house was with cleanliness and did we need anything we didn't get a response from anyone local for 3 days. Listing photos show massive piles of firewood out front, so we didn't buy any to bring. We got 5 pieces of wet pine wood in a trash bag that wouldn't burn and was too long for stoves- axes provided were broken. We immediately reported this. We reported house was filthy and other than clean bed linens the floors looked like housekeeping had been sweeping all dirt under the beds and couches for months. Within a few minutes of arrival we found our dog chewing bubble gum-chewed gum on doorway. Cobwebs and dust virtually everywhere. Bathroom floor upstairs was brown with dark hair/missing tiles with gross buildup. Toilet covered in hair. Bathroom heater cover laying on floor. Urine stains on rug. Heaters provided when plugged in trip the breakers and the lights go out upstairs. Listing photos show a light airy space - very dark, minimal lighting. Driveway solid sheet of ice, we had a fall of a senior citizen. Driveway so bad our F250 with new tires and ebrake set slid down driveway 20 to 50 feet TWICE. Customer service didn't tell correct people- no one checked in with us until day 3. Finally got driveway sanded day 3. Local Vacasa guy was kind and apologetic. DEEP CLEAN needed.

The property was great and close proximity to mountain. A bit outdated, but overall very comfortable. We got 14 inches of snow one night and nobody came for 2 days to plow driveway which was very disappointing. The garage code was not working and had no shovel. We replaced the battery to the garage and then was able to get into garage. Other than that, would rent again.

Great location and great house
Cozy house with plenty of space and great location to Mount Snow.

Pictures doesn't match the ambience
The place is alot more run down than the actual pictures in the sight. The entrance looks like an entrance through the basement with stairs that goes up to the second floor dwelling. Given the basement level has a tiny kitchen and a bathroom which doesnt have a working heater and damaged ceiling (has sheetrock replaced), it more worst condition, my kids wouldnt shower down there. The second floor is alot nicer more home comfort feel. The kitchen needs an update.

Disappointed by property
While the location is great, the house was reallly run down and dirty. The lock box is broken so the screen door slams it constantly. The coffee pot is broken on the bottom. I reported both and nothing was done during my stay. The upstairs bathroom has missing tiles with a spongy/ moldy wall exposed and the downstairs bathroom has a patched ceiling which is dirty and gross. The kitchen sink faucet leaked under the cabinet. I was disappointed by the property.

Convenient to Mountain
Great ski house for a family vacation. Plenty of bedrooms and 2 living areas which is great. The kitchen could have been better stocked with pots and pans. Eg, there were no small saucepans and no cookie sheets. Also we were not told we needed K cups for coffee. The biggest complaint was that we couldn't get the fireplace unit in the stone fireplace facing the sofas to work. They should have provided instructions. Also, better TV instructions are needed. We figured it out, but would have appreciated having instructions. Finally, be forewarned that the one upstairs bedroom with all the windows was freezing cold, even with heat on and space heaters.

Highly recommended home so close to Mt Snow
Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay! Location was great and house was a nice size. Everything was clean for our arrival. The woodburning stove kept us all toasty. Only thing to improve would be some more light in kitchen and living room area for games. Very impressed with the DVD collection. My family and dogs were happy with the space. The kitchen had what we needed. Thanks for a great stay!

Just as I expected
Cozy retro cabin feel. Was everything that we needed. The lighting was a little dim and the downstairs refrigerator didn't seem to work but the upstairs one worked fine.

Perfect place to stow away!
The house was spacious, cozy, and conveniently located to shops, restaurants, and bars. Our pup loved it too! We hope to return soon.

We had a good time but...
Cleanliness is the most we didn't like so whoever is responsible for should put more effort in it.

Relaxing getaway
House is split into two levels, the second level is where we spent most of our time and where we ended up sleeping. On the first level there are two bedrooms but there seems to be a moisture problem that really made it impossible to stay for very long. The first night I stayed downstairs and the bedsheets felt wet, the fan didn’t quite work and opening the Windows did not help with the moisture.
Other than that, the house was quite great. The kitchen was well equipped and plenty of entertainment and space for the rainy days.
Our dog was also comfortable and enjoyed the stay.

Great getaway weekend!
I booked this property for a long weekend to spend with my adult children. Wonderful space for eating and relaxing. Beautiful deck with Chiminea for roasting marshmallows and watching stars. Plenty of dishes and all the necessities of a kitchen. Only downside is the 2 bedrooms on ground floor were musty and very damp from the humidity. Would do well to have a dehumidifier installed. Very close to Mount Snow and town with great shops and food.

Guys golf getaway
We had an absolute blast staying here this past weekend for a guys golf getaway. You are seconds away from Mount Snow and its beautiful course and only 25 minutes from Stratton Mountain which has another must play mountain course so it's the perfect location for golf or really anything in the beautiful outdoors of Vermont.

It sucked
It was the worst property I ever stayed in.
The place was dusty and moldy, the microwave didn't work, the oven didn't work, the refrigerator downstairs froze all our food, the rice cooker didn't.
If it was my property I would be embarrassed to rent it.

Birthday weekend
Celebrated my daughter’s birthday- the house was perfect for girls weekend. Older home but well equipped with tons of space and a lovely deck. We had a surprise spring snow storm but had a great time. Very close to hiking and skiing

Nice chalet
We have a nice day at the chalet. It was perfect for a weekend ski trip. When we arrived there was a pot in the sink that had not been washed, And in general I would say the kitchen could’ve been better appointed. We were also unable to close the garage door upon leaving. However overall the house was clean and lovely, and suited our needs perfectly for a weekend getaway.

Quick ski trip
Good location to Mt Snow and very grateful that dog was welcome. Property has the essentials for a comfortable trip. As others said, it is outdated. It is also a bit dark at night in living area — needs some lights. Bedroom with all windows is great.

Cozy chalet
Cozy chalet. Great deck with chiminea. Enjoyed our stay. Wood stove was nice but would have prefered an operable fireplace. Upstairs fridge didn't work but there was a 2nd on the lower level.

Great location and great place for family
We loved the layout of this home. It had lots if space for everyone to have room to spread out, and we loved the deck and hanging outside in such a beautiful spot in southern Vermont. Nice to have the kitchenette downstairs for siblings to put stuff. We would go back again, and it would awesome for skiing at Mt. Snow. We were able to drive one mile to Mt Snow to hike and we were able to walk to the store each day less than a mile away. Thanks!!

Nice getaway
When we arrived at 4:30PM on Wednesday, the front door was open and there were 2 bags of trash at the front door and a 3rd bag with dirty dishes. Walking in the lower level, there was a significant stench and I went exploring to find a garbage bag in the lower level kitchen with fish or something that had clearly been there for a bit. I removed that bag and had to clean out the trash bin itself as the item had leaked.
I called the Vacasa number to report our findings and request that someone remove the trash. The rep in the phone was nice enough, we didn’t ask to be contacted, only to have the trash removed and she ‘put in a ticket’
The house is dated but comfortable and everything worked, luckily I had brought air freshener to remove the gross smell that emanated from the lower level trash.
We checked out today at 9:30AM and added our 2 bags of trash to the bags that sat outside during our entire stay.

looks as pictured
Good location - right down the road from Mount Snow and at the bottom of the street there is a market which is very convenient. The oven works well (although it is old). The best part of this house is the enclosed year round sun room off the living room. It is well decorated. There is a nest for a thermostat in the home which is nice and new. The downstairs bathroom is renovated. There is room for some improvement with amenities but overall good location and house.
