Welcome to The Nest. An Original Smoky Mountain Cabin. This true log cabin originally built in the 1700's was disassembled and rebuilt in its current location. This Cabin is secluded and off the beaten path. If that's what you are looking for then you found it! But the cabin is still close to everything! Best of both worlds! You get the authentic atmosphere of the Smokies with the rustic appeal, but all the modern amenities you could want. This cabin has been completely REHABBED with tons of custom features that give it the Smokies character with a modern touch. Sleeps up to 4, but great for that couple getaway or that perfect honeymoon. Two beautiful decks. One with all the privacy off the master and the hot tub with wooded and mountain views. Electric Fireplace (for Ambiance only, no heat) for that romantic/ cozy atmosphere.
A HUGE walk-in Couples Shower with rain head. This cabin has a history that still shows on the barn-style master bedroom door. It shows all the love from the previous guest who stayed at this cabin on their Honeymoon and left their mark when it was a Honeymoon cabin years ago. It's truly a ONE-OF-A-KIND! Easy to get to and a beautiful drive up the mountain with spectacular views of Mt LeConte on the way. (Only partial views of Mt LeConte from the front of cabin, wooded views from master bedroom deck and side deck) One lane, very well-maintained gravel lane to cabin. Secluded atop a beautiful mountain but just 7 miles from Gatlinburg. Less than 5 minutes off the Arts and Crafts Trail. 20 minutes to Pigeon Forge. The perfect location for your Smoky Mountain experience in a TRUE Smoky Mountain Cabin. THIS IS NOT A PET-FRIENDLY CABIN. THERE ARE NO PETS ALLOWED AT THIS CABIN RENTAL. Please be aware Internet is hit and miss up in the mountains We have tried to find better service but satilite Internet is all that is available at this time.

The cabin was cute and quaint. The numbers of towels compared to other places I have stayed was impressive. The bed was SUPER comfy. We came for the baseball World Series, so we were tired each night and slept well. The manager gave excellent directions and check in instructions and was readily available for communication.

Communications could have been better. We should have been told to ignore the detour signs upon arrival. Pictures in the posting were deceiving. Very poor internet availability. Dish and transponder needed to be cleaned of the moss or mildew that prohibits a good signal. Jacuzzi felt like it had a slime in it. We chose not to use it. There were no "views" of anything worth looking at in any direction. Especially of Mt. LeConte.

This was the first vacation my husband and I have had since our children moved out. The cabin was wonderful. More than we expected. The host thought of everything that you possibly could have forgotten to pack. We loved everything about the cabin. We didn't want to go home!!!!

My wife and I were looking for a quiet getaway from our kids and this cabin hit the spot. The road was a bit sketchy to access the cabin but it was nice and secluded and it added to our adventure away. We texted the owner to check in early and did not have any issues.

The Nest was a beautiful home to stay away from home. It was as noted in the VRBO listing and had the comfort and peace that was needed for an Anniversary/Vacation getaway. It was within 20 miles of where we wanted to go within the area, perfect location to food, activities, amusements, etc. The host was very responsive when I had a few inquiries and assisted in what I needed. Would def stay here again, even for a quick getaway.

We spent the weekend exploring Pigeon forge and surrounding areas. It was so nice to come back to a secluded cabin just for ourselves when we were finished. It had all of the amenities for the modern world but still felt like an old rustic cabin. Would definitely recommend! PS The hot tub was fantastic!

We had a great time at the Nest. The property owner was very helpful with questions we had. The cabin was very clean and the extras were very thoughtful. Hot tub and the quiet was very nice! The only thing which it is no fault of owner, the drive up to the cabin is not for the weak of heart. There are a few areas that is one lane and no way to pass anyone as one side is a steep drop off with no guardrails. There are also a few blind spots on the road.

I couldn’t recommend this cabin more! Its location is very secluded (only a few neighbors) the drive up to the cabin is an adventure in itself! The cabin was cozy & very private. The couples shower was a nice touch, the bed was comfortable but should be replaced soon due to it starting to make noise

The cabin was beautiful, and clean! Everything was provided that we needed. The Hot tub was very clean, and worked perfectly. The bed was so comfortable! The only thing that didn't work was the electric fireplace, but that would not stop us from returning to this property again in the future.

Awesome place conveniently located close enough to the local attractions, but far away enough to escape the hustle and bustle. I highly recommend this property for a quiet getaway!

This was a great place to stay!! Very clean and very cozy. It had everything we needed and we enjoyed our time. I was impressed with how clean the place was including the hot tub, which is not always the case with rentals. If you don’t enjoy being disconnected though, I wouldn’t depend on the network there. For us this was not an issue so we enjoyed!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay here. The cabin was very cute and spacious. The location was nice and secluded, about 30 min to just about everywhere we wanted to go! The area is so beautifully decorated for Christmas. Definitely check out some of the small local shops on your way in to Gatlinburg! We really enjoyed the hot tub, but would recommend bringing some pool towels if you plan on using it. The whole place was very nicely decorated and furnished. I really liked the makeup mirror and bench for getting ready. It was the perfect setup for a romantic getaway in the mountains!

We loved, absolutely everything about this cabin. It was quiet away from people and just everything we imagined for our 15th anniversary. The only downfall was that the road was quite narrow to get to it. It’s not a very easily passable road if another car was coming in the opposite direction, the cabin was beautiful, decorated beautifully, cozy quiet our last night there we even saw bears walking through the woods and it was just absolutely magical. Thank you so much for allowing us to spend our 15th anniversary at this cabin.

What a unique "real log cabin". Perfect for my husband and me. Close enough to go to town but really out in the middle of the woods. Great use of space. We enjoyed it.

The bed was cozy and the hot tub was hot. That’s what we wanted in a place to stay. It a a great location, it’s about 25 minutes from everywhere and we were totally okay with that. It was just a little getaway in the Smokies away from tons of people. Beautiful property and overall a great place to stay.

Although the drive to the cabin wasn't as easy as some reviews led me to believe, it was still an amazing stay! It had wonderful parking compared to other places I've stayed! Kathy was very responsive with all of my messages, and the cabin was so cozy! I love that it is an old cabin. It has so much character! It's not just one of these dumb resort cabins that all look the same. You can tell it has history and is one of a kind! Beware the acorns, though! Lol! My husband and I got a few startles when we heard acorns falling on the metal roof! It gave us some laughs, for sure! All in all, this was a great place to stay, and our trip was very nice and quiet!

This cabin is absolutely adorable! It was a perfect size for a couple … with a comfortable king-size bed and a beautifully done bathroom! The kitchen was fully equipped and had full-sized appliances for suppers in! Spectacular deck with comfy reading loungers and a beautiful hot tub! Communication with the owner was quick and they solved an issue immediately! I suppose the only “negatives” would be that it is quite a narrow one-laned, partially gravel half mile road to get to the cabin and the Internet was very limited and weak - however, you ARE in the mountains!! We felt very secluded (which is what we wanted), but were only about 25 minutes from Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge/GSM National Park. I would highly recommend this property to EVERYONE and would definitely stay here again!
