This condo is located in the popular Sunset Beach neighborhood of Treasure Island right on the beach. It has 1-bedroom, 1-bath and was completely remodeled. The fully equipped kitchen has all you need to prepare a nice meal. Pretty tile flooring throughout and tasteful décor. The comfortable living area features a 50” flat screen TV. There is a king bed and another flat screen TV in the bedroom. Coin operated washer/dryer on site. The living room is on the beach side of the condo and it has a large window facing the Gulf of Mexico. The view is fantastic! Free WiFi and free parking is available.

The unit itself was outdated.. needs new king mattress and pillows and window blinds, among other things. The outdoor deck railings need replacing.
Upon arriving, found a dead rat in the middle of the garage. In the kitchen, a live palmetto bug and tiny ants.

The location of this house is great. Other than that I would not recommend staying here. When we checked in we found something smeared on the wall and on the comforter in one of the bedrooms. Neither of the bathrooms were cleaned it had garbage and clumps of hair on the wall and in the drains. We did get ahold of the rental agency and they had people come out to clean those things. The house needs to have a lot of updates done to it because it is run down. Both showers have black mold growing in the grout. We also found black mold in the vent in the bedroom with the queen size bed. We also found
a cockroach in the kitchen. I do have a picture of the cockroach and wish this allowed for me to upload pictures because I would upload it so everyone knew we weren't lying. We told the cleaning staff of our discovery and they told us that it's just something you have to do with when you're in Florida. I've been travelling to Florida my entire life and I have never had a space had bugs in them.

The location of this property is amazing, you’re right on the beach. You’re able to sit in the shaded porch and see the kids playing in the sand and the ocean. Overall it was a good experience but as other reviews stated, I’m not sure if we would stay here again. The problem is you don’t know what you’ll get with the townhome next to the property which you have to share the pool with. Unfortunately the people that rented the other property checked in the same day we did and they were drinking a lot and had their music loud and were in the pool area and inside the pool drinking (3 men and 1 woman) we had 3 girls and a little boy and didn’t feel comfortable letting them get in the pool while the neighbors were outside, so we couldn’t use the pool but enjoyed the beach a lot.
The layout is a little odd and there is not much privacy if you have 2 families sharing the place, but that wasn’t an issue for us. The beds were super comfortable and the furniture around the property was nice. I wouldn’t count sleeping on the sofa bed, because it’s old and very uncomfortable. But we did have a great time and we walked to Caddy’s, a restaurant on the beach, so that was fun too.

We felt like the property itself was a little off from the pictures. It is small and a bit awkward layout. The only beach chairs (that were supposed to be in the garage to carry to the beach)were damaged and unusable so we had to buy our own.
The pool was very sandy and used a lot by the other family in the duplex so we didn't use it much.
The Very very best part was the view and easy access to the beach. It is literally right out the door and we absolutely loved that and the views. The sunsets were amazing!!

Overall our stay was great due to location of the property but there were plenty of problems.
Property Manager doe not seem to be familiar with the property. I asked about beach chairs/towels before heading to the beach and was told they were not provided. As a result I packed chairs and towels only to find they were on site. Very irritating considering chairs take a lot of room in a car.
The hide a bed is basically unusable as when deployed it blocks access to a bathroom. When you plan for eight places to sleep and find out two of those spaces are not available it is very annoying.
Pool requires daily maintenance to be useable. Maintenance is handled by the renters not the property manager.
BBQ grill was a safety hazard. It was missing a couple of bolts so that it was very dangerous to move. It was replaced with a new grill the day we departed but that did not help me.
Shower in master bath had to be repaired (by me) to be useable.

This was our second visit to this location! The best part is this townhouse is just steps to the beach. You can sit on back porch and enjoy the beach breeze! Also, I could watch my grandchildren when they were in the pool and still enjoy the beach breezes and views! The views from the house were amazing. The house is very comfortable and spacious! A couple of negative comments are: Because of public beach access near the house, people would set up umbrellas and tents directly in front of the house. The beach was much busier this year. Also when sharing the townhouse with another family, you aren't sure what these people will be like. Two family members who were staying in the attached townhouse became intoxicated and was throwing up beside the pool and on the beach. Their younger children were in the pool as well as my young grandchildren. These people left the first of the week and the next family that came in were fine. It is just a chance you have to take. Overall this is one of the best places for a beach vacation!

I talked to the pool cleaner who showed up a day before we left. He had not been there prior to our visit so the pool needed cleaning, I found it easy to make the reservation online and the check-in process was seemless. It was a great vacation overall and we had a wonderful time.

Quirky beach house with an ideal location
We loved the location of this place. The house setup is kinda strange and wouldn't have a lot of privacy for multiple families, but it worked great for our girls' weekend.

The property is nice and clean, just needs some updating.1. The pool was nice but gets very dirty from the pine trees above it. The pole net by the pool was nice to get stuff off the surface, but be ware a lot of stuff will sink to the bottom and just leaves the pool looking dirty. THere is also some metal bands that holds the liner of the pool to the shell of the pool. A couple of them had been cut it looked like, and one of our kids cut their hand on it. Just something to be aware of.2. The beds could all use some updating / get rid of the current beds and get new ones. The beds weren't terrible, but they weren't great either. The one in the main bedroom on the second floor had a hump in the middle separating the 2 sides of the bed.3. There are a few safety issues here if traveling with kids. We had a 5 yr old, 4 yr old and 1 yr old with us. There are no sides to any of the stairs inside of the house so if you trip and fall to the open side you are going down. The railing on the 3'rd floor has a rather large gap between the floor and the bottom of the rails where our 1 yr old could slip in between that if we didn't keep an eye on him so watch out for that. It really needs to be closer. Also there is a chunk of sub floor missing on the 3'rd floor right by the spiral staircase. Be careful there because you will definitely drop on through that.No one could really tell me what toys were available at the property, so as of the week of July 4'th this is what was there: Several sand buckets, some sand shovels, various sand toys, 4-5 pool noodle floats, 1 surf board, some foldable beach chairs, looked like also a tent there, a cooler with wheels and a 3 burner gas grill that had propane + there was an extra propane bottle there.Overall, nice place, definitely due for

BEACH A.....POOL F....CLEANLINESS INSIDE D OUTSIDE F. Wouldn't rent again
Arrived at 330 for 3pm check in..
unit wasn't ready,, told us be back 45 mins they should have taken 2 hours to clean the house. House is now blue (fyi) there are 3 holes in the floor, one above the spiral stairs and another by the 1st bedroom & 2nd one. Blinds missing slats in 1st br and closet. 2nd br closets no drawers. Top floor dresser smells like mildew. Pool liner is aged and the pool was filled with sand and pine needles. Pool equipment is circa 1990. Pool latches are rusty and iffy to stay closed. Apparently owners think once a week cleaning is acceptable, it's not. Soda cans band aids and candy found in bedrooms. Trash around the house. Kitchen was in disarray and had to wash everything before use. No sponge no dw soap no brush no dish towels. Only 3 wine glasses. No beach towels ( don't provide) and outside shower has no pull string. Garage was a mess. More trash rusted chairs crappy umbrella and deserted beach pails. Garage doors all have issues. The yard has not been tended to in months. Overgrown. Needles just piled under the deck. If you are traveling with children under 7, its not the best house for you. It's a split house and you have no control over who's sharing the pool area. They may not latch gates due to rusting. If you are a bigger person or bad knees, the house will be a struggle. This was my 8th trip to TI and love the area. The group in unit 1 had AC issues fridge issues and a small fire. I would rather rent a house then this mess that was split into two townhouses.

Sisters get together
Loved the location. Not too touristy. Beach not too busy. If you get some chairs from the garage and put them out early, others will put theirs elsewhere and maintain your view of the beach. Be careful at the top of the spiral stairs as the sub-floor is caving in. Other than that - great stay.

Location location location!
We went down for a girls trip with the golden girls and the location was outstanding! Right off the patio to the sand it was amazing!
The Town house needed a few updates for sure, the layout was very odd and there’s no pravicy there is one room Secluded and everything is upstairs so if u have kids or older people it’s not a great kid friendly place there needs to be some rails for stairs going up and there’s no bathroom at the very top so u have to come down stairs in the middle of the night little scary! But over all I would stay here again because we were so close to the ocean and the water!
The pool is always cold and dirty cause there’s pine trees all around so that stunk! But again I loved the location

The Good & the Bad
The Good: This property has without a doubt a perfect location. The beach out the door is heaven!!! The size of home is good despite
It’s funky layout. The Bad: We never would have rented this property if we knew the condition of the furnishings. The bed was not a pillow top as described. It appeared old and was hard which didn’t make for comfortable sleep. The
Photos present this as quite a bit nicer looking. The queen room had no window which I didn’t know was legal. No tv in there so especially felt like a cave. The were a few hazards in the house like a hole in the floor / under the carpet at the top of the stairs. The house was in need of overall TLC. We’re in our 40’s & 50’s and it kind of felt more like a flop house from college days. The lighting is awful and the AC wasn’t working the last day. The bbq was set out for garbage, no comfy chairs, the pool is cold & the hammock was broken. - I don’t mean to sound rude it’s just really disappointing to book a house that wasn’t as described. - BUT- the location was amazing so we tried to focus on that. Had I known I gladly would have spent more money on a better place. With about $5k spent right in improvements this would be an excellent property.

Great place on the beach!
The place was as described. The layout is a little awkward, but unique and cool as well. You cannot beat the 40 yards walk to the beach. We caught a lot of fish from the surf and made blackened fish tacos using the BBQ grill provided. I would stay again for sure.

Perfect location!
You will not find a beach house with a better location than this one. Sunset Beach is a beautiful, quiet strip of beach. It is conveniently located just a 5 minute walk down the beach from restaurants and bars.
The house itself has a few quirks. The downstairs has a great open flow of kitchen, dining, and living space. The views from inside the house out to the beach are amazing! The non-working stove discussed in other reviews has been replaced. The two upper floors are definitely unique. There is no privacy for two of the three bedrooms. You must walk through them to get to the third floor spaces. The only bedroom that has a door and privacy is the queen bedroom on the second floor. But it has no window and is a dark cave. The house is a townhouse and shares the pool and patio space with the unit next door. We unfortunately had a family that brought 6 college age kids with the next to us during Spring Break week. They trashed the beach and pool area daily. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Great location
The location made this vacation everything we expected! We had small children and the trek to the beach and back was a delight and able to be done all day, every day! It took most of the work out of traveling to the beach with children, which is exactly what we were looking for. Would highly recommend!

It Doesn't Get Better
I searched long and hard for the right place. Beach steps away and pool access. We got both. We were in the pool and the beach close to a dozen times per day because both so close.
Three floors. Living area, second floor with main bedrooms and a quiet couch area. Third floor with twin beds (kids loved it) and an entertainment area.
Everything works, beds and pillows are comfy, clean and as represented. Is it the nicest looking home on the block? No, but it is still perfect. Furniture needs a tiny upgrade but it didn't bother us.
Wifi access and both owners and management are quick with their replies. We'll definitely be back. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Not a luxury property
Kitchen is very dated. Appliance very old. Stove does not heat. Took an hour just to boil water. Oven doesn’t heat well. Very old/outdated. Pool should be maintained better. We had to clean ourselves everyday multiple times just to enjoy it. House needs quite a lot of updating. Getting very run down for price to rent. Inside and especially exterior.
Upon arrival our first day, property was very dirty and trash cans were completely full and overflowing with trash. Not a very good first impression. Pool completely covered in needles from trees when we arrived. And everyday we were here

Unbelievably perfect location...you can’t get closer to the water!
This home was a really wonderful find and we had an amazing vacation. MUCH needed during pandemic stress! The townhouse was so close to the water that during high tide, I could’ve thrown a rock from the porch and hit the gulf! During the week, the powdery sand in front of our place remained fairly secluded...weekend’s definitely had more people planting umbrellas but still not bad at all. The townhouse had plenty of room inside. Nicely furnished but not to the point you’re worried about messing something up. Pool in front we really didn’t use but nice to have. All you need for the beach (chairs, floats, boogie boards) in the garage! We had lovely neighbors in the other townhouse that shares a wall during our visit, thankfully!! The houses along the area are very close together. The last part of our week the people (owners, I think & a gazillion family members) showed up at the house next door to our right. They were not so great neighbors with loud music, drinking games on the beach, and a couple guys that thought discarding their cigars in the ocean was okay! I say this so you know neighbors on both sides could seriously impact your stay. Back to the townhouse...very cute but choppy upstairs. Two defined bedrooms but other areas required you to walk though someone’s sleeping area to get to another. Teens didn’t care, but good to know. Narrow stairs without wall or a handrail plus spiral staircase upstairs so I would not recommend for those with little kids. Kitchen had plenty of things to make meals at home but the oven needs a serious upgrade. If you like to cook, you’ll be disappointed. I used the toaster oven sometimes in lieu of the oven. Beds were comfortable. Walking distance to Caddy’s (but they had an employee with a COVID diagnosis while we were down there so we stuck with our meals at home plan!) Overall I’d highly recommend! Management company was meh. Contract instructions I signed said to go to their office first. After driving 8 hours we arrived and are told that we should go straight to the property because instructions were emailed at noon...while I was driving down. So that’s dumb. Also garbage overflowing in bins outside when we arrived and stunk so badly that I called. Odd phone call with management telling me when garbage pickup at curb takes place. Umm not my garbage, lady! Someone from mgmt came the next day and took 2 stinky bags but left others. Thx I guess? Summary - townhouse good, management subpar. Overall thumbs up!

Great location with everything you need
Our family stayed here for a week-long beach holiday, and what really made it special was the direct beach access and the full suite of toys, appliances, and gear. My 2 year old was able to play with beach toys, we had ample beach chairs, and even boogie boards. The beds were comfy and overall we had a great stay. Joanne was easy to communicate with. The room layout was a little challenging for our large group because you had to go through certain rooms to get to others, leaving less privacy. The decor was definitely a bit dated given the price, but it didn't really hinder our enjoyment. Showers and AC all worked great. Would definitely stay again.
