This little hidden gem is so peaceful and quaint. It’s ideal for 2 couples as the rooms are separated and heavy doors make it quiet. Yes it’s not fancy but it is quintessentially Italy. I will be back. Grazie Mille

Beautiful Apartment
The apartment was lovely, comfortable and tastefully decorated. Rossano was very accommodating and helpful. On arrival there was a basket of essentials, plus fruit from the orchard and wine from the grove.
If I was to suggest some improvements, it would be that the kitchen needs a few more tools to make it fully functional, there is no oven in the upstairs apartment, only a very small combination microwave, which wasn’t very useful. An update of the cookware is very much needed too. However I would stay again in a heartbeat.

Wonderful Experience at the Agriturismo
If you are looking for an authentic experience at an agriturismo in Tuscany this is the perfect setting. Rossano & his family are wonderful, gracious hosts. Rossano’s mother let us into the upstairs apartment and Rossano greeted us shortly after to orient us to the farmhouse. The upstairs apartment was immaculately clean and charming. There were fresh eggs, coffee, pastries, a bottle of Rossano’s wine and home canned tomatoes waiting for us. The kitchen is well stocked for making breakfast and evening meals. The living space is nice and the bedrooms good size with comfortable beds. Rossano recommended sites & restaurants in the area and gave us discount vouchers. He made arrangements for a private wine tasting at nearby Santa Maria vineyard. The best recommendation he made was to visit Bagno Vignoni mineral baths at the hotel. We enjoyed the Saturday night bathing under the stars. Glorious experience. Rossano’s farmhouse is in a great location for exploring Tuscany. Easy drive to Montecchielo, Montepulciano, Montalcino, Pienza, Siena. Rossano and his family are delightful, gracious hosts and attend to their property with great pride and care. After the hustle & bustle of the crowds of Florence this wonderful farmhouse was a peaceful & quiet home base for 3 nights in Tuscany. I highly recommend a stay here !

Tuscan Farmhouse Stay
This apartment was perfect for our stay; two couples. The en-suite bath with each bedroom was great. The apartment was exactly as it was presented. The location is very central in the Tuscany area. Rossanno was a perfect host; he left us a bottle of his wine and some of his olive oil to try. We would definitely recommend this location to stay. We hope to make it back someday!

If you want the feel of Tuscany, you have it in this quaint apartment.
Needs a little updating when it comes to the linens but otherwise very comfortable.
All the dirt roads surrounding the vineyards are a wonderful retrieve to walk with a glass of wine.
We were a little surprised that the only way to access it was thru a dirt road, which is not unusual for the Tuscany area.
The Family that owns it is very welcoming making it a nice place to stay.

We had a lovely stay at this apartment. It is located right on the family farm right outside San Quirico. It was so peaceful and relaxing. The apartment is well appointed and comfortable. Rossano was so kind and helpful, and gave us good tips and recommendations. A bottle of their own wine provided was very nice too. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this property.

country of Tuscany
The apartment was in a beautiful setting, with a vineyard and Rossano greeted us with a glass of wine and an introduction to his property. It was comfortable and the town of San Quirico d' Orcia was interesting and quaint. Rossano also helped us find a wine tasting at a nearby vineyard in Montelcino called Il Cocco. It is family run and is amazing. A great spot and we had lunch there too. Again loved the apartment would recommend to friends.

Hard to find, but we stopped at a local shop. The locals, even though we didnt speak Italian, found our family, called them and Rosario came and retrieved us.

Great agritourismo in Tuscany
We loved our stay here and hope to return. The apartment was perfect for our family of five. The town of San Quirico is a short walk away and has many good restaurants, bakeries, gelato, etc. Marusca and family were always available for anything we needed. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine, apricots, and fresh eggs and sent away with plums that we are still eating in Florence. This was the most relaxing stay of our 3 week trip. Highly recommended.

Peace under the Tuscan Sun
My daughter and I stayed in five different places on our trip, and this was our favorite! Rossano was a great communicator, keeping in touch with us before and during our stay. He was kind in so many ways. From the beginning, he offered to meet us in town if we needed help finding the place. At check-in, he provided fresh eggs from his farm along with milk and tea for breakfast the following day, since the grocery store was closed upon our arrival. There was a basket of snacks and wine from his vineyard waiting for us as well. He made it a point to check on us the first morning we were there just to make sure we were enjoying our stay, and he made a dinner reservation for us along with providing a discount card. The location itself is yards from a vineyard and olive groves. The sunsets are incredible, the air is fresh, and the location is peaceful. The town of San Quirico d'Orcia is only a few minutes by car, and Montepulciano, Pienza and Bagno Vignoni are all less than an hour away. We found the people in Tuscany to be the nicest of the places we visited in Italy, and the region to be as beautiful as the postcards show. We would highly recommend this farm in Tuscany!!

Perfect home, perfect location
We rented the upstairs apartment with our two children and it was perfect for us. We traveled all through Europe that trip and this villa in the heart of Tuscany was our favorite part. We rented a car for the week and simply took day trips to all the different near by towns. San Quirico D'Orcia is full of cafes and restaurants. There is a Coop grocery store as well for everything you need. The food and the wine was fabulous at every restaurant we went to. At the villa we appreciated the fresh fruits, veggies and eggs that where left for us daily. We felt right at home here. It was great having a washing machine and a full kitchen to use, especially since we were traveling for a month. I hope have a chance to visit again.

Charming Tuscan home
In March myself, husband, 2 children (age 9/12) and mother stayed for 2 nights at this beautiful Tuscan farmhouse. From the early planning stages of our trip, Rossano was a pleasure to deal with! Quick to respond and helpful via email. When we arrived in San Quirico, he met us in his car and we followed him to his rental. He showed us around and answered any/all questions. He showed us his quaint wine making room and let us enjoy a taste of beautiful rose right from the stainless steel barrel! Then, Mama showed up with a delicious homemade fruit torta to sample. I fell in love with the place immediately:) We stayed in the upstairs farmhouse which was tastefully decorated, comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. It is a very quiet and serene location and I only wish we could have stayed longer. One night we even had a barbeque dinner which was wonderful. San Quirico had a great grocery store for everything we needed. We explored Montepulciano, Pienza and Montalcino. I have travelled all over Italy and this is by far one of my favorite locations. We hope we have an opportunity to return some day and spend more time. I myself am a VRBO owner and when I book on VRBO I have very high expectations when dealing with other owners and staying in nice places. If I could give Rossano a 10 star, I would. I highly recommend this property....you will not be disappointed! Grazie Rossano e Mama!
Best, Cindy

Tuscan hospitality at its best.
The accommodation exceeded our expectations as previewed on their web page. It has been tastefully furnished ,well equipped and within a ten minute walk to the walled city of San Quirico. The house is surrounded by Vinyards and Olive Trees, which makes for a perfect setting for Alfresco Dining.Good restaurants,Bakeries and Supermarkets are close by. There are many beautiful towns to visit including Bagno Vignoni for it's Thermal Spa, Pienza and Monticchello for the magnificent views of the Tuscan Countryside.
This two week stay in Rossano's accommodation formed part of our 3 month tour of Europe by car. We are so pleased we chose this accommodation.
Thank you Rossano, Taechinee, Mum and Dad and all the family for extending their hospitality
to include us at the dinner following their wedding. This was the highlight of our stay and we wish Rossano and Taechinee a long and happy life together. This accommodation is highly recommended if you are looking at staying in this area.

The perfect villa to explore Tuscany from.
My husband and I have had the best time in Italy. Picking this farm villa near San Quirico d'Orcia was a great decision. The two units here are beautiful with tile floors, modern bathrooms and a kitchen supplied with everything you might need. The outside areas were wonderful for cookouts or just sitting in the sun. The views of the vineyard, olive grove and surrounding area makes this a peaceful place to stay. The town of San Quirico was about a ten minute walk which was very convenient. My husband loved the access to the bikes here and he explored many of the trails surrounding San Quirico.
Rossano and his Family made us feel like a loved member of their family. They welcomed us with a nice basket of their farm products and wine. We enjoyed the wine and bought a lot more over our stay. We were able to participate in the grape harvest and got to see the start of the wine making process. We were also here for olive harvest so we were able to do some olive picking and then go with Rossano to the olive press to watch the olive oil pressing processes. The family also invited us to three wonderful dinners that Mama cooked which we enjoyed immensely. Rossano was not only a great host but a great friend as well. We enjoyed our talks with him and he was always helpful. He let us participate in the farm activities and we learned a lot from him. He even helped us book a Brunello winery tour and then drove us to Montalcino for the tour and brought us back later in the evening.
We came and lived in the villa for two months (Sept and Oct). It was wonderful to unpack and stay in one location. This home is located in an area where we could easily take day trips to everywhere we wanted to explore in Tuscany and Umbria. We went on wine tours and lunches at vineyards. We explored hot spas both natural and the resort type. We drove over to the beach twice and explored the Maremma region. We took a Hot Air Balloon ride over Tuscany.
September and October are great months for festivals in the area so we went to as many as we could. We went to a wine festival in the Chianti region, a chestnut and mushroom festival near Mount Amiata, a cheese festival in Pienza and the thrush festival in Montalcino.
Driving around Tuscany you will never run out of amazing views and quaint hill top villages. We have been here for two months and I still haven't seen enough. We will greatly miss Tuscany and our Italian Family.

Where the vacation of your Tuscan dream begins
Please do not let my delay in writing this review reflect on the villa. It was more fantastic than I imagined and nicer than the pictures. I was there for the month of October 2013 and had different combinations of visitors. I never asked the year the villa was built but it was decades if not centuries of stone and wooden warmth. The gift basket on arrival with homemade treats was such a delicious welcome!
Although the bathrooms are not listed as ensuite the location and door arrangements make them essentially that way. I took the room with the full bed. The windows in all rooms are awesome – I want them in my mountain home someday!
The working vineyards and orchards in such a beautiful setting should be enough...but it only begins there. The xx century building is just so 'dream imagined', yet wonderfully modernized to provide for all of your comforts.
I was so fortunate and blessed to be there for a month and spend part of it with girlfriends who had their own 'twin bed room', then another girlfriend and her husband who pushed them into a king bed with room for their toddler son's crib (provided), and when they all left my husband and I enjoyed the place to ourselves. Rossano's Mom and Dad (if I could kidnap her I would take Mom home with me in a minute), sister and and brother-in-law, and no way to forget his niece La-ura :)
From SIM cards and telephone service to allowing us to work in the olive orchard picking with them, to taking us to the local olive press with the olives, if you can dream a better vacation than we had then you have quite an imagination. Oh me, at the times we called with one issue or any another (all of our own making or desires), and either Rossano or Marisca (both speak wonderful English), were there to fix it.
And or the proximity to anyplace you want to go with crazy good places to eat and explore. The train station at Chuisi is 45 minutes away and I could eat everyday (and did many days) eat at Dante’s near the Old Town entrance. San Quirico is the quintessential town you see in the Tuscany pictures and the surrounding scenery that we see on calendars with the tall spire trees, olive orchards and vineyard are everywhere around you. Just crazy beautiful.
Love at first sight and a lasting memory.

Our best home stay in Italy!
We stayed 6 nights at this wonderful Tuscan retreat, and it couldn't have been better! The apartment was spotless and well equipped. Linda loves the special touches like the lace trim on the towels and table cloth. But the thing that made this stay special was the service and attention given us by Rossano and his family.
We were welcomed with a goody basket of home made wine, olive oil, marmalade, 6 fresh eggs from their chickens, and a bunch of other stuff like coffee, chocolate, tea, etc.
The property is located just a 10 minute walk from a delightful little medival village with an abundance of good restaurants and shops. The town is centrally locate within easy driving distance of many villages and spas. We were traveling by bus, and with Rossano's help, it was quite easy. We highly recommend this stay.

Great Memorable Place
Pictures of this property have garnered many oohs and ahhs of our 3 week trip to Europe. We stayed with another couple and had a terrific experience at this property. The apartment was perfect for our 3 night stay. The only thing it did not have was an oven other than a microwave but commented that if we were staying longer we might want one. Some days we ended up eating our main meal out, at noon, and getting cheeses, salamis, breads, and of course, wine, for our evening meals. The views of the vineyards and olive groves with Tuscan hills in the background from each of the windows were fantastic. We enjoyed the outdoor furniture and grill for toasting crostinis to have with our tomato, basil, garlic, and olive oil mixture. Don't miss the old town pedestrian area of San Quirico for dinner at least one evening. The farm house is centrally located for visiting Montalcino and Montepulciano. The grocery store, bakery and laundry in San Quirico were handy. Maruska, Rossano's sister, has a little shop in the shopping center where the grocery store is. We liked very much the welcome basket of homemade goodies and wine when we arrived. The linens were of top quality. The towels were hand crocheted and almost too fine to use, but we did. If you are looking for a tranquil setting with great Tuscan scenery this is the place!

Real Taste of Tuscan Hospitality
The location is perfect for exploring the Tuscan hill towns. A car is essential. We were met in San Quirico by Marusca and taken to the apartment just outside of town. It is in a beautiful setting. The kitchen window looks out over the vineyard and on the other side of the house is an olive grove. The property has just recently been renovated and the kitchen and both bathrooms are up to date and reliable. The apartment is quite large and very comfortable, safe and quiet. Our first night, my daughter and I drove into town for dinner and while exploring, we ran into Marusca who gave us a tour. She even persuaded a friend of hers to feed us before the usual opening time of 7:00 pm. For 2 jet lagged tourists, this meant a lot.
During our 6 day visit, we were able to visit Pienza, Cortona, Siena, Civita d' Bagnaregio, Orvieto, Multipulciano and San Gimignano.. We really liked Civita.
We were even invited to attend the grape harvest and luncheon on the farm, but rain postponed it. Too bad.
This family will make your stay here special. Best wishes to Rossano, Marusca and Mamma and Lara.
