Horrible for the price only good thing was close to work.

The location was close to mine and hubbys job and the bus picked up the kids right in front of the building.

We were able to sign for the room at a hotel in downtown ocean city (no keys just a code for the door) and my place was on 70th st. Kinda irritating but it's whatever. After we arrived we realized it was a very small room for the 5 of us. (It said it held 6). It was 2 double beds in one room and a pull out sofa. It was very tight and crowded. None of the outlets were right and looked burnt out. Toilet didn't sit onto the floor and every time you sat on it it moved up/down. The shower head didn't move so you took a shower right against the wall under the shower head. The toilet also didn't flush right. Bathroom sink was ok. The kitchen had mixed dishes and not enough for 5 let alone 6 people. The stove was no longer there and it was a flat top in the counter. It didn't work but with one pot. No pans and the second burner didn't work at all. The toaster oven was so small it didn't even cook the French bread pizzas. The microwave was the original from 1980 so it heats uneven. Parking was small and limited even 2 in the front or 4 in the back of people parked right. The pull out couch was uneven and not made for 2 people to sleep. The head part of it leaned down so it was under the cushions. We had to put the pillows in the hole with blankets and then books under the leg to make it even. They took out the square table to old the max for a 4 person table in front of the air conditioner. Speaking of it didn't work and it def didn't cool off the house. There is soooo much I could write about this house. I was there for 4 weeks.

Worst place to stay.

The property was old sort of ran down. Towels and wash clothes were not provided. Smelled really old and tub was not very pleasant to shower in. Beds were extremely uncomfortable sheets felt almost like they were plastic.

Location

The check-in place is not at the location of the apartment complex. As we were walking up, the smell of weed filled the air. The tenant next to us was smoking outside. The apartment smelled of mold and was not clean. There were many things that were not in good condition including holes in the cushions, one of the shower faucets were broken, and you could literally see through the door to the outside. As we were leaving for our first outing, I tried to lock the door. The touch pad locked with ease, but the door DID NOT latch so you could literally open the door back up. The door looked as though someone broke in so it would not latch. After seeing this, I called the property manager regarding the safety of the apartment. I have three young kids and the door didn't lock among other concerns. The manager was very rude and not accommodating. It was nonrefundable and there was nothing he could do.

Pleasant

Good location. Beds were reasonably comfortable.

When I got there, there was a pair of (unclean underwear wedged into the window frame in the shower, which the cleaners apparently didn’t find. The refrigerator made a terrible noise and wouldn’t get cold, so they ended up bringing a far smaller one to use as an emergency. There was no remote for the television, so we couldn’t use it at all.

I never had such a miserable experience in ocean city like this ever

It was a place to stay

The microwave almost caught fire and blew up had major problems. My food wouldn’t stay cold in fridge for hours and then in middle of night it started making so much noise we couldn’t even sleep. It continued till check out and I told the guy. He didn’t see no problems with my problems. I told him that microwave is dangerous!! I’m sure both are still in that room. Also was so hot in the bedroom the air couldn’t reach cause the placement of the air conditioner.

I would not recommend for the price I paid. For just a tad more you can get something way better

I liked that it was close to the boardwalk and other attractions.

Does not have central AC. Just one wall unit in the living room so it was extremely hot and uncomfortable in the bedroom. The whole place is in serious need of upgrades and a remodel. It looked like it was from the 70s and was very worn and rundown. There was a hole in the freezer that was taped back together with white tape, the fridge was uneven on the floor. There was very little water pressure in the shower. All the dishes and silverware were mismatched and there was only 2 to 3 of each dish item (plates, forks, etc.)

Very uncomfortable!

The location of the property is a good spot. Its super close to the beach.

When arriving in room there was a cock roach right on the wall and a dead one in bedroom. Guy said all he could do is move us to a different room. Toilet seat was broke! Not to mention the toilet barely flushed. The code to the door to get in didnt work half the time. The beds were super uncomfortable. Cut our stay 3 days short, terrible!

The tub was stained horribly, the door was weak, the sheets were stained and dirty, furniture questionable, the microwave and refrigerator were from the beginning of time, and no real cable.

ANTS IN THE BED AND ON THE COUCH. NOT CLEAN. UNIT WAS VERY DISGUSTING.

The unit was extremely disgusting. Stains ALL over the carpets, ANTS in the bed, on the couch and in the shower. Human hair on the "clean" sheets, rusty refrigerator, shower handles were loose and falling off, shower would only come from shower head, could not switch it to bath tub option. Smelled very musty in there and clearly had not been cleaned or updated in MANY years. Manager was very rude and unaccomadating. Offered a different unit but after having bugs in my bed I was not staying in ANY of his apartments. I ended up staying elsewhere and asked for a refund but he declined multiple times saying it was nonrefundable. I absolutely do NOT recommend any apartments within Southern Comfort or Surf Villa Inn as they are managed by the same company. Seriously do not stay here! Not worth the headache!

Dirty and loud

The apartment was very noisy. It was impossible to sleep. It was also very cold. I wore my jacket to sleep… The bed itself was still dirty, there were hair everywhere.

We loved every second, you can tell it’s old school OC staying but honestly that meant a lot to us. Some kids had been destructive at some point to items there but we over looked it and won’t judge the place for that. Thanks for a great night and day!

My only qualm it was very cold and still had a problem with ants. But we just kept everything in the microwave or car and it was fine.

Not worth asking price.

The only positive thing i can say about this place is the location, you are not near any type of office, and the parking is private.

I did not like the receptionist, he was rude and gave me a hard time over payment when it had already been completed. On top of that, the main office is on 7th, the apartment is on 70th. There is only one window AC unit which made the bedroom extremely hot, the AC unit was loud as all could be, and the filter in it was brown. Only 2 beds. The pullout/futons or whatever they call them are metal. I have slept better on the floor.
