This cottage met our purposes perfectly. I was travelling with my two daughters. We were looking for a place to spend our 1st Thanksgiving without my wife/their Mom. My daughters were intent on making a full dinner, and this house had everything they needed and some!! They roasted a spatch-cocked turkey, cooked gravy and cranberry sauce on the stove top, and baked casseroles and pies. My dog, Maggie, enjoyed the charming yard on her walks. The cottage was perfectly located for our visits to Coastal Carolina University and the Marsh Walk at Murrells Inlet. We also used the park pass to visit Huntington State Park. We will definitely look to stay here again!

This property was an excellent experience for my family and I. We really enjoyed the cottage, especially the beauty of the lot its on. It was clean and comfortable. It is close to the inlet, the beach, gas stations, restaurants, grocery stores and Huntington Beach State Park. Michael was easy to communicate with and the check in process was very simple. We would absolutely stay here again!

The property inside and out was beautiful. Way more than we expected. On a quiet street but close to restaurants, church’s and the main route 17 business. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this property to anyone looking for a small place to stay. And pets are welcome.

I take my mother on 1-2 vacations a year. We stay in VBRO because we both have pets. She is elderly and it is hard to find a place with no steps and this had a great ramp for her. Also the grounds were just beautiful. Well taken care of. The inside of the home was just as beautiful. This is by far one of the best VBRO we have stayed in. So relaxing. We felt safe being to older women. It is far enough away from the hustle but yet convenient to everything. Just wish we had more time. Thank you so much for sharing your dream home with us. We will be back!

Great home for a couple and children. beautiful grounds. All great ...... only small small issue was the commode handle sticks. This is more for the owner so they can fix it. But it was great

This was are 2nd stay at this property location. 1st stay was at the house next door and was very nice. Both homes were very clean. Great location to everthing.It was great we could have are dog with us, just a word of caution watch for snakes! Saw one both stays at the property. One at the door, one at the creek that runs between the homes.

We really enjoyed our five day stay here. The home was perfect in every way especially considering the town is still cleaning up from IAN. We had our two pups with us and our host left dog biscuits and bones in the kitchen as well as chocolate chip cookies for the adults 😋Furnishings are lovely and kitchen is well appointed. The garden areas are beautiful and the fenced yard is great for dogs to exercise. The owner lives nearby and is quick to respond if you have problems or questions. We plan on returning next year at this same time ! No complaints here whatsoever 😃

Very nice, roomy cottage in a setting reminiscent of old Low Country with huge live oaks, Spanish moss and well-kept gardens. Convenient to everything. Owner takes pride in the property and quick to address any problems. Only suggestion is that one of the bed frames has sharp corners which could use some padding.

My husband and I along with our fur baby loved our stay! The property was in excellent condition as pictured and very clean. We had everything we needed! Beautiful landscaping shaded by live oaks. Michael stayed in touch to ensure we had what we needed but gave us our privacy. The only possible con to this property is the laundry situation in the building in the back which isn't really a con because you can arrange access. There are quite a number of cars coming and going every day to the laundry in the back building but it's not a bother and one of them comes with 4 adorable Frenchies which is a +++. They are so sweet and friendly that we looked forward to their visit each day! We had a really wonderful stay and couldn't be happier with the property!! We hope to return again!

The reviews are right. The house is really really nice! We had a great time and will definitely be back. My hubby met Jamie & Michael and said they were really nice and helpful and loved that our fur baby Charlie got to play with the other dogs. Best VRBO rental thus far. They really thought of everything!!!

Overall impression with property is very good. What I take exception to is that the total price of the stay was 50+% higher due to fees, more fees, cleaning, lodging, etc. I will likely not use VRBO again for that reason. Too many hidden costs.

This place looks even better in person. It was very clean and nicely furnished. The yard design and landscaping is very pleasing to the eye. I really enjoyed relaxing outside- reading underneath one of the beautiful live oaks beside a scenic stream. The customer service was excellent. The owners are very conscientious in that they provided so many extras like bathrobes, toiletries, games, coffee and tea, even a free beach pass for the entire stay! We were impressed and throughly satisfied with our choice. In fact, we are already considering visiting this special cottage again. Thank-you so much!

Enjoyed over a week at this beautiful property. I was able to work in the mornings (good internet) and hit the beach or visit friends in the afternoon from this convenient central location. My dog loved running around the big yard while I enjoyed my book and coffee on the tree swing. Interior is well appointed and very comfortable. Hosts are very friendly and responsive. Highly recommended.

Michael's properties are superbly furnished and thoughtfully decorated. Unlike other places, the house was well stocked with immediately needed items like trash bags and dish detergent. Michael's friend met us to check us into the house. Later when we experienced a plumbing problem, he quickly moved us to another bigger house nearby. Michael and his team are nearby to help in the unlikely event there is a problem.

Location is perfect--close to Brookgreen, Huntington Beach State Park, Marsh Walk, Lee's Farmers Market, restaurants and even a good Doggie Day Care. Quiet, charming with a lovely yard, excellent beds, efficient check in--very comfortable for both dogs and people.

My Mom and I traveled to Murrells inlet for short break from Durham. The home was excellent, check in process easy. Home was beautiful and the yard was beautiful to enjoy. We were able to enjoy Brookgreen gardens and fresh seafood at local restaurants We enjoyed the visit so much made reservations to return during the Christmas holidays. I highly recommend this home.

I reviewed this a few days ago! Please see that more detailed review! Michael & Jamie have created a perfect renovated cottage in a picturesque neighborhood. The house was comfortable, attractive with an amazing assortment of amenities, from mints beside the beds, to apples in a bowl to a personalized, keyless lock system. The kitchen was well stocked and featured a great coffee pot complete with pods. The grounds were magnificent, worthy of being on a garden tour. We hope to return later this his fall! Thank you.
