Dla niewymagających.

Plusy : duży przestronny pokój , bezpłatny parking ,kawa i batoniki , spokój , dobre WiFi , otoczenie domu .

Niestety nie było zbyt czysto , łazienka nadaje się do remontu , w pokoju nie było żadnej szafki czy półki , tylko łóżko i stolik i dwa taborety. Łóżko bardzo stare i niewygodne , zapadało się po środku . Był przemysłowy wiatrak - bardzo głośny . Cienkie ściany - wszystko słychać .Ogólnie noclegi dla niewymagających.

Great hospitality, beautiful view, n

The staff ,especially the owner Thomas, were very hospitable. They wanted to make sure you are comfortable. They didn't hover over you even though they were generally close because they are working outside. This a beautiful piece of property with fantastic views. The staff, I believe, also lives on the grounds , they are very busy caring for the 3 acres that this property sits on.

What I didn't like, and didn't know it was part of the deal of the coming and going, is that you have to open and close the gates, on a steep sloping driveway every time you come and go. Also, there is NO MICROWAVE in the kitchen because Thomas's wife doesn’t believe in them, she's afraid of the waves that come from them. This was disappointing to others, too. ( per Thomas) The property is at 1700 ft elevation which makes it nice and cool at night for sleeping. I know it's a lot of work maintaining the property, however, a gallon of paint would go a long way on the baseboards, trim and doors. At night, if you go to the kitchen...be prepared to see German roaches owning the place. They are on everything and everywhere. I must say,I enjoyed my stay and would stay again, if I just couldn't find anything else. The other guests were all cool. There are 5 total rooms, I understand they are usually all rented every day.

Hostel & Your Own Room

I booked last minute and its operators stayed late to greet me & check me in. Very friendly. Bed was nice. Walls are thin.

I'm not sure how old its website photos are... they were a vague facsimile of its appearance today. It would also be nice to know ahead of time that it is not only shared quarters, which I suspected would be the case, but a shared bathroom as well. That was an unpleasant discovery.

Cosy stay, great value for money, staff/owners were very friendly!

Staff/owners were very friendly, it was a nice and cosy stay in a spare room which had just been refurbished! Great value for money for sure, especially for anyone renting a car during their visit so that they can get to the location for no additional cost.

No problems, it was a wonderful spot.

Very poor

Very dirty! Manager wasn’t happy with our late check in even when I told them our flights had changed. He wanted to charge us an extra $30 per room even though we booked all three rooms. Cupboards, fridge, cups….place in general very dirty. The sheets were clean though so that was a bonus at 11 at night. Definitely won’t stay here again!

We were very pleased with Aeolian Ranch and loved its uniqueness!

It was a quick and easy drive to the airport to catch an early flight. It’s in a beautiful location and the common areas and our room were very clean. Thomas & Canna (?) made us feel welcome! Sharing a bathroom was not an issue as there are 2.

The views were awesome. The proprietor's wife was very friendly. Location was great.

Shared bathroom facilities. Tub/Shower could have used a good scrubbing. They requested no shoes inside & wanted you to wear used slippers indoors or go barefoot. Floors could have used another mopping

Easy to get to, right off the main road to Kona, up on a hillside, Great view of the ocean.

Our host were very accommodating and interesting to talk with, we had a lot in common. My wife is Japanese, and Thomas's wife is also Japanese, we have also lived in many of the same places. Great experience!

Only wish we had more time to stay and visit with Thomas and Kana.

Not worth the money

Location was beautiful and with lush gardens.

No AC. Very ramshackle house. Owners smoke a lot, however it is outside the home. Gate had to be open and closed each time we entered or left. House smelled weird, everything in kitchen looked very old and in poor shape.
