We used it as a quick overnight stay - we will not be back

The location

We could hear the people in the flat above, walking around. It's a self catering unit and there wasn't even a complimentary hand soap in the bathroom. No complimentary tea, coffee, sugar - not ideal for an overnight stay. We were placed in a wheelchair friendly flat which we did not ask for - therefore we had a wheelchair friendly bathroom - not great!

Good self catering flat with a gas braai.

Close to beach. We jogged to the promenade. Pool was clean. Good weather for swimming.

Some lights did not work in the passage.

It was a very delightful stay and felt very cosy and homely.

The accomodation was great and as expected. The staff was friendly I enjoyed the view from the balcony

Happy overall

The staff was friendly, the place was neat & well look after. There's a weber braai at the balcony which uses gas which was convinient for me as I was traveling with a toddler and family. The amenities around and it was less than a 100m from the beach, the view as well was beautiful. Thank you to the Hyde Park resort and the staff for a beautiful stay

When I made a booking through the app, I booked for a 2 bedroom but only to find out I was booked for a single bedroom sharing with wife and kids, had to come up with a sleeping plan. 😔

Staff friendly, especially Busi and Sphiwe and the Indian security guy who welcomed us, very friendly , enough towels and very clean, kitchen exceptional with clean dish cloths changed daily well equipped for self catering , light provided for loadshedding and schedule given on arrival, sea view amazing and walking distance to beach and shops, pool very clean, kids friendly and play area i loved it

Rodent on the terrace, rodents are snakes friendly scary , no air freshener and brush for toilet
