Many activities are offered to you by the tourist office, such as commented coastal walks and walks 40 km from the coast "in search of marine mammals in the Mediterranean". Sea trip with commentary by a graduate scientist. This was an ideal apartment for a family of three adults. The view from the balcony is better in real life than the photos. Villefranche is also a good location for catching a train up and down the coast. Nice central is only two stops away, trains run on time and low cost! We took trains further afield to Monaco and Antibes, both worth a visit but it was nice to get back to relative calm of Villefranche. There are plenty of bars and restaurants in Villefranche to choose from. We would have liked a little more vegan options but this is a common problem across the area. To note that the apartment is partway up a hill so it keeps you fit and you can treat yourself to a glass of wine on the apartment terrace when you get back. The owner, Yvette, is very helpful and on hand should you need any help.

This was a lovely 2 bedroom property in a great location and with amazing views. You do need to be fit and healthy as there are lots of steps to climb.the old town, harbour and train statin are all within walking distance.
