Great place.

We LOVED our stay here. The decor and aesthetic made it feel very spa like while also being cozy. It was the perfect place to crash after camping in Big Bend. Great location for enjoying all Terlingua has to offer.

Beautiful accommodations, very clean and comfortable, especially the bed. The fire pit, lounge chairs, and outdoor kitchen were lovely and there were thoughtful touches such as robes and cookies. This guesthouse is gorgeous and we wished we had booked a longer stay. We highly recommend this guesthouse.

Awesome location! really cool old building made of stacked rock and adobe. very comfortable temperature controls and fresh towels. Shower is large. great recliners to relax and look at the stars.

This property is so unique and really fits the vibe of the town. Very cool getting to stay in the ghost town, and the location is great for walking to coffee in the morning and dinner at night! Amazing sunrise views in the morning as well.

Cute little room with all the amenities you need in the middle of a West Texas ghost town. Right next to all of the bars and restaurants. Bed was super comfy, and the hotel had a lot of places to relax outside and take it all in!

The place was great minus the weirdness of not having a private bathroom.

All in all good but would rent the number one next time

Rooms are clean and well furnished. We were very disappointed that this was a shared bathroom between three rooms with a total of 7 people. Additionally we have to step outside our room and brave the elements to get to the bathroom which was on a slightly higher level. To top it off there was a sign requesting us to deposit used toilet paper in a trash can!
The terrain is fully rocky landscape surrounding the rooms and although not too far from the car park it was very difficult to roll our suitcases and walk to our room in addition to having to hoist them up four or five steps. Parking spaces are very tight and difficult to turn the car around. Check other places before considering this particular one!

Very unique, very quiet. Even though the bathroom was not connected to the room there was no inconvenience. It was clean and decorated nicely and only steps from the room.

Great everything in the middle of Terlingua without many tourists but lots of friendly locals and a charming rooster next door.)

A great spot just up the hill from the Starlight Theatre & the Trading Post. Unique & cozy. Loved the room, style, decor & thoughtful touches. A/C works great (you just have to point remote directly at the unit to make changes), comfy bed & pillows & extra blanket. Loved the fact there was a ceiling fan to circulate air as well. Loved all the colors & the property. We missed getting to see all the stars this trip due to storms & cloudy sky but want to come back! This is a place you almost don’t want to tell anyone about & want to keep it a secret because of its treasures but that wouldn’t be very good for business ; ) sooooo, this is a great place, you won’t at all be sorry you stayed here : ) great experience thumbs up!!!

Second time to stay here. Love the location. Great walking distance to excellent shopping & food.

This place reminds me of the westerns I would watch as a kid. Very nice rustic room and premises all very well kept. The view is the highest in Terlingua with amazing southern views. Outdoor kitchen a big plus.
Breakfast was very good at the place below and they have French press coffee.
Make sure to get up to see the sunrise and of course the sunset. And use the fire pit. Adds to the ambiance.

A 3 day stay (too short) but wanted the experience. Everything easy, booking, everything needed to know about property, cute and pet friendly, easy access to National Park. Beautiful area. We should make it a return trip vacation. Didn't get to see all of the park. Thnx for the hospitality.

Great little room
This was a good option in a town with very few. I didn’t realize the bathroom was shared with other guests. I’m sure that’s my fault for not reading closely enough, but you should know! My fiancé who has severe anxiety associated with cleanliness was not comfortable with this. But no other issues!

This hotel room was so cute and had the most amazing view of the Chico’s mountains.

This place was wonderful! The views from our room were stunning! We did have an outdoor bathroom and shower but they were clean and it wasn’t inconvenient. We would definitely come here again!

Comfy
We had a pretty full itinerary for our trip to this area of Texas. The room was very clean and quite comfortable for the time we needed it. Check in and out was very easy, and the breakfast just down the hill at the coffee shop hit the spot!

A miracle of an inn
This is truly one of my favorite stays in the U.S. and it was so nice to finally come back after all the insanity of COVID. The views are unbeatable, the rooms are one of a kind, and the shared shower is still one of the best I’ve ever had. With a fully stocked outdoor kitchen, I did all my meals there, making it the perfect launch spot for both the national and state parks! Whatever you do, make sure to get a breakfast burrito while you’re there.
