About this house rental

Set in a quiet residential area close to Shelly Beach (1.1km by car and 600m walking) and only 4km to the centre of town, a great place to relax, rewind and recharge.

As soon as you walk in the door, this charming tastefully decorated house gives you a very comfortable relaxing feel.

The property consists of 3 bedrooms with a queen sized bed in the main bedroom with compact ensuite, a queen bed in the 2nd bedroom and 2 single beds in the 3rd bedroom with all linen supplied.

The comfortable lounge area has a smart TV, DVD player and free Wi-Fi. There is a wood fire heater to enjoy for the cooler months and air conditioning for the warmer months. Separate dining area which leads into the fully equipped kitchen with large fridge, dishwasher and microwave, and overlooks the enclosed back yard.

Out back there is a large undercover outdoor area with BBQ and outdoor setting, where you can kick back and enjoy an afternoon drink and a meal.

There is a fully enclosed back yard which is perfect for your beloved dog.

The property also features a laundry with washing machine and a lockable storage room for your convenience.

There is a refundable $500 bond for this property.

Bedding: Queen in main bedroom, queen in the 2nd bedroom and 2 singles in the 3rd bedroom, all linen is supplied.

Did not meet my expectations. Looked much better in the online photos. Needs general maintenance, shower had a slow continuous leak, the toilet in the ensuite also leaked and we did advise the agent, although it was not fixed during our stay. The out door area was very poor, All the real estate staff I dealt with were professional.

Fantastic, quiet, fully fenced…some plumbing issues such as shower drips constantly. Ditto for kitchen tap. But otherwise fabulous. Very clean!!

We liked the location away from the town centre and the house was pretty much as advertised if not a little smaller than it appeared online. Good neighborhood. Great that we could take our dog. The outside chairs need replacing or repairing desperately (half not useable) but everything else worked. Screen doors on front and back doors would be good. Outdoor area was very pleasant. Response to a message about a full and smelly bin on arrival was quick. Great service. The house was a little smaller than pictures indicated but worked for 5 people.

A very comfortable stay with all the conveniences of a fenced yard and more. Jazzi and I had a great stay and found Elders communications reliable and prompt. Highly recommended for pet lovers looking for a quiet stay to stay. Thank you.

The yard and gardens were very nice and importantly for us, our pup could play outside without our concern as the yard was secure. Our only problem was a lack of hand towels, there being only one. We used face cloths and eventually another bath towel as a hand towel in the bathroom and a beach towel for the kitchen. Minor complaint.

Reviewer Comments: This is a very well maintained home with everything you require for a good holiday experience...almost..It was very hot when we arrived just before Christmas and we booked this accommodation on the basis that it was air-conditioned. To then read that the air-conditioning had to be turned off at 10pm (due to possible noise complaints and council regulations) was very disappointing and hard to believe. The neighbour was very grumpy when we first arrived as he felt we were parked too close to his driveway. I would not book this house again for these reasons.

Great spot, close to amazing Shelley Beach and short drive to other gems. Not too far from town too. House was nice, clean, well prepared. Only issue is we had some things go missing from out the front so don’t leave anything out front as a tip; even shoes.
