Absolutely amazing staff. They were punctual, and personalized. Best hotel staff I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with.
Pillows were a little firm for my taste.

Nothing. It was incredible. Slightly more expensive then other hotels. But you get what you pay for!

Breakfast was phenomenal. You really can't get better than the assortment and care they give with the menu. Everything is seasonal and sourced locally.
We wish we had been better prepared for our trip to the observatory at night. We didn't bring any money for the gachopon. We've also been collecting stamps at the JR and subway stations and the tower had a stamp that we didn't know about. Rather than allow us up through their secret entrance, we had to go the round about way to enter through the ground. They initially said they'd charge us but decided last minute to waive the fee for the second trip.

Great hotel, great service, great location. The secret rooftop entrance was also great. Overall would recommend to anyone who wants to stay in Nagoya.

unique property, great art installation and very good “fine dining” breakfast

Location is good, staff is friendly and generally has a good command of English.
While hotel decoration is modern and contemporary , the color theme is a tad dark.
The layout of amenities in the room is not well
thought for one of the room.

Everything about our stay at The Tower Hotel Nagoya was absolutely exceptional!! Never stayed in a more fantastic hotel in my life - the staff were the standout at this property as they were so genuinely kind, welcoming and helpful. The welcome drinks + desserts were so special and lovely, I left a small thank you note mentioning which ones our favourites were and they brought more of those favourites the next day?!?! so unexpected and lovely. The breakfast was PHENOMENAL, such a wonderful experience to have while we looked out over the city. The rooms were fantastic and super spacious (my partner especially liked how comfy the pyjamas were), super comfortable beds too! We’ll definitely be coming back!!!
Not a single fault.

Location Location Location !
plus you literally get to sleep in a tower !
very slick and modern rooms .
as much as the room are soundproofed you are staying in the busiest Nagoya area .
its not unbearable but quite loud for sure .

The property is beautiful and the interior is unique; all furnishings are of very high quality. The bedroom was comfortable with a large bathroom.
The set Japanese breakfast was possibly the best I've had in more than 10 years of living in Japan. Finishing with a strong coffee was a wonderful touch, usually missing in a Japanese breakfast!
The staff are extremely helpful, more "Four Seasons" than "traditional ryokan".
I don't know what the normal rack rate is, but the rate we paid was very reasonable.
One unexpected bonus: you get out-of-hours access to the viewing platform, high above the city, direct from the hotel.
Note that road access is difficult - car parking is in a complex quite a some distance away and there is no road drop-off. Come by public transport if you possibly can.
While the uniqueness of a hotel built into a communication tower makes for great views and interesting internal architecture, it also creates constraints and the room layout wasn't as ideal as a purpose-built hotel.

This is absolutely our favorite hotel in the area. The decor is beautiful, the rooms are spacious, clean, comfortable and eclectic, not to mention, the staff is amazing. We enjoy ourselves every time we visit. 10/10! Highly recommend that you visit this beautiful hotel in Sakae!
Everything was great :)
