About this apartment rental
Incredible views on a private deck overlooking OTR and downtown!
With a large backyard, a safe tight-knit community, and off street parking, it's perfect for couples & families who need a yard and space to stretch out. 1 mile to hospitals, the university and downtown!
My decor is simple and easy with lots of natural tones and a mix of mid-century & nordic furniture with lush indoor plants.
My place is a studio apartment with its own private deck on the bottom level of a 3.5 story duplex. Both apartments are completely separate except for the laundry room and they both have their own entrances. There is a single full bathroom. It has a living room area with a sofa bed, a queen size bed, a complete kitchen, a dining table, a private deck and huge windows overlooking downtown Cincinnati. I have a stocked kitchen with pots & pans, dishes, coffee maker and electric hot water pitcher for tea. I provide guests with Dr. Bronner's soap products & full coffee assortment.
There are off street parking spaces and full access to the backyard. There is a laundry room shared with the 2 level apartment above this one. If you have a large group, be sure to rent the apartment above this one!
You have access to the shared laundry room (shared with upper apartment) the studio apartment, parking spaces, the large backyard and the studio apartment's back porch!
I'm available and on call whenever you need! It's not apparent when visiting the property, but there is an additional full basement below this apartment accessible by where I store the lawn mower and gardening supplies. You might see myself or my cleaner (Monica) coming out from below the deck to take care of the lawn or improving the building.
I live in a rare, tight knit neighborhood made of 2 streets on the edge of Over the Rhine. The south and west directions are bordered by 30 foot retaining walls and the north is bordered by the steep bluffs of Mt. Bellevue. It's a mix of entrepreneurs, artists, designers, retirees, young families and students who live here for the incredible views of Cincinnati. The neighborhood is safe with a very active neighborhood watch. Neighbors are often walking their dogs or jogging by and will wave and greet you, it's a very lovely place!
My place is convenient to both University of Cincinnati and Over the Rhine, as it lies in between both areas. FC Cincinnati games, University of Cincinnati, Findlay Market and the streetcar stop at Rhinegeist brewery are all within a 15 minute walk of my house. You can board the streetcar and take it all the way to the river to watch a Reds or a Bengals game or take it halfway to Washington Park. Ride sharing is very affordable and quick and most anything in Cincinnati is within a 5-10 minute drive.

I have one complaint about this place, and it’s that we weren’t able to stay here even longer. The AC was flowing when we entered. The place was SPOTLESS. Even the towels were folded to perfection. It’s the perfect size for just the two of us. Thanks to Ben for helping us out, and responding right away whenever we reached out to him. Lovely lovely stay.

This is a good Miquelon and cozy studio in a neat and quiet neighborhood in the midst of urbanity. Walking the neighborhood was a treat, seeing historic properties renovated with creativity but adhering to tradition. The view was fabulous, the city skyline with a peek of one of my favorites- Union Terminal. My traveling companion, a dog was comfortable and enjoyed the nice back yard. Thank you for hosting us and giving the historical bonus. Great job!

Nice little studio with a great view. Easy access to most things with uber. Enjoyed the short weekend stay. Met the family needs for a REDS weekend. Thanks Heather

Exactly as described, deck and outdoor space is what we wanted and it delivered! We don't have pets, but the place was "pet friendly" with a sleeping mat, dog bowls and access to a yard for walking the dog. All systems functioned well. You can hear people upstairs walking around, but it wasn't too loud (Not sure if they are residents or guests in the upper apartment, but they were peaceful folks) The immediate neighborhood was nice, but you had to drive to find a grocery or restaurant or walk to a bus stop a few blocks away and take mass transit. I would book here again if staying in Cinci.

Great studio unit, thoughtfully decorated and outfitted. Very dog-friendly, including a dog bed. I loved the private balcony/deck with a nice view of downtown. I definitely recommend.

Wonderful location, clean, exactly as described in listing. Owner provided excellent information upon booking as to the area and other attractions. Enjoyed fireworks, we stayed near 4th of July, also listened to a concert from the deck. Very pleased with this booking and plan to return to one of the properties in the future.

We had an awesome time. The host was incredible and quick to respond to all my questions. The back deck was our favorite part.

We stayed one night while on a road trip and it was perfect for us. It has a nice backyard and the bed was comfortable.

The lower-level unit we stayed in for three nights has a very cool vibe, decor wise, and met all of our needs. It is especially great that it has designated off-street parking, and the location was great for getting to all the Cincy sites we wanted to visit. The deck offers a beautiful view of downtown Cincy, through the trees that dot the hillside on which the property is located. A couple of detail things that could have been better - the mattress is super-soft, so that we kept rolling into each other (not that rolling into each other is always bad, but I am talking about when we wanted to sleep); the lights over the kitchen sink were out, which would have provided a softer alternative to the overhead kitchen lighting; the garbage in the kitchen hadn't been emptied when we arrived. None of these kept us from having a great time on our visit, but make the difference between a 4 star and 5 star rating.

Was in town visiting family. Property was as advertised. Clean, loved the location, check-in/communication was very easy and straight forward.
Cool views of the city. As mentioned in the description, may hear footsteps from upstairs unit. Was no big deal for us.
If available when we travel to Cincy again, would definitely book.

The place was perfect for a business trip with my dog. Plenty of backyard area for my dog. The location was great, I was just a short commute from downtown. I also appreciated the off street parking. My only complaint is the noise from the upstairs apartment-- it is addressed once you book the listing, so I was prepared for it but even with the noise machine on high-- you could hear everything from the upstairs neighbors.
Overall, a great stay- and will book again in the future!

Easy to access, nice neighborhood with all the necessities. Perfect for an overnight stay and better than a hotel.

Im the only one who slept there but my family came by both evenings to play games, hang out and witness the amazing sunrise and sunset over the city. The space was perfect. I will forsure be staying here again.

This is a cute studio apartment. The owner, Ben, is super responsive to any messages. I loved the real plants in the house. It was very clean and comfortable. Our pup enjoyed the backyard and the view from the deck was relaxing.

Comfortable stay. Deck and view is great wish the weather was warmer for us to enjoy. Nice yard for dog.

We enjoyed our time at this location. It was clean and cozy. Just big enough for two people. It has a nice view of the city, and a back yard to take the dog out. Parking was always available and charging is available for an EV which is very nice to have. We would stay again.
Only cons are the location being on a hill away from a less than deseable part of town. However, we never felt unsafe. Also, i would recommend switching the toilet paper from prison toilet paper to two ply. . Or just getting your own.

Clean and safe property that is close to everything and has a great view. Loved the yard and the back porch. Thanks for letting us stay!

This studio is perfect! I really loved the views at night. I stayed with my Sheriff K9s, we walked the neighborhood. The host had a dog bed and bowls for the pups. The dogs enjoyed the yard. I loved how quiet the place was a night. I usually travel with a white noise app, but I didn’t need to use it. The hot water for the shower was GREAT! The one thing I might suggest for us vertical challenge people is a stepstool, so we can get the toaster down

What a cute and well maintained apartment! We were touring the city a lot and caught a baseball game - and it was a great place to “come home” to! Nice neighborhood and close to everything. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

very clean ,nice property
but being of a certain age.... the steps (OTR) were challenging but doable. the bed was low to the ground.
This only has to do with age and my mobility.
very nice place

Visiting my oldest before Thanksgiving. Neat little apartment, in a very unique section of Cincinnati. Easy to get into town, the freeway and over to No. KY. Will definitely stay again. If the weather is nice, the deck & yard are wonderful. Older historic feeling home. You do need to walk down some stairs to access, but owner has strung lights to help. It's pet friendly.
Walked Klotter to Conroy st each day. Lots of history to see and some markers with info.
Covington, KY is the best village to visit. Spoon and Fridas are recommended. But the whole village has an awesome vibe.
Bakersfield in Cincinnati was a hit.
Looking for a place to crash, with all you need, I'd stay here again. Plus, there's off street parking with this apt.

We liked everything about this property. Stunning views from spacious back deck! Spotlessly clean. Not a large space but perfect for two. We had a dog and the yard was a huge bonus feature. Large public park with even better views is only blocks uphill from the property. We’d stay there again without hesitation. Highly recommend.

This was our second time staying at this house first time in the downstairs apartment. Was not disappointed! We came to see the zoo and this place was perfect for us. And you get your own parking spot! Will definitely stay there again next zoo visit

PERFECT for us and our pups!!
My husband and I needed a place to stay near Blue Ash while we were in town from east of Cleveland watching our son play baseball.
We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay! The space inside was perfect for us and our three dogs AND, right outside, adjacent to our deck, was a delightful lawn for them to romp in and ‘do their business’- SUPER CONVENIENT !!🙂
Much to our delight, right up the street, was a perfectly appointed and specifically designated dog park! (Complete with a dog bone shaped table with paw stools all around it. The morning we were headed out of town we walked up the hill toward the University, found another, much larger park with amazing views of the city and a wonderful staircase that brought us in a perfect loop for our early a.m. ‘urban hike’.
Communication with Ben was prompt and efficient.
We ran into the very friendly, kind woman who cut the lawn and does the cleaning a couple of times while we were there. She was a delight.
Given the opportunity, we will most certainly stay here again. Thank you.
