TV in living area did not work. Communicated with Vacasa at least twice a day. Finally, on day 6 someone showed up to fix it. WasAlthough

Great location and clean condo. As expected from the pictures the condo is dated but the reason for the 4 stars versus 5 is the decking is in desperate need of repair as it poses a safety hazard. We did not feel comfortable standing on the decking after we noticed the issue so would strongly advise the property managers to address this quickly.

All the comforts of home & you could literally throw a rock to the Chili Express lift from the balcony. Nice setup, well stocked. Peaceful getaway. Will visit again for sure, management company super helpful & promt with any need.

Super close to the ski lifts, everything nice for a ski trip. Condo was fully stocked & room to spread out. Would stay there again.

The condo was completely unclean with a broken glass in the bathroom. There were dirty bedding sheets left from previous visitors. Vacasa don’t want to hear anything about the compensation…

This condo is super dated and has some things that need attention. The carpet is old and worn and the mattress's seemed the same. The price is good and it was fairly clean (I found some used Kleenex under the bed when we were checking to make sure we had everything.) The location is close to the base, but parking is a little tricky as well. I also reached out to the management company through VRBO to ask a question in the middle of our stay and got no response. I've stayed in worse, and the bang for the buck is decent, but I will definitely try somewhere else on out next trip to AngelFire.

The house was not what we expected. The restroom where dirty and the beds as well it lookked like the property had not been cleaned In months.
Lots of things where wrong.
I was very sad I was looking forward to a very nice place for a mini vacation. 😞

This place is antiquated and needs updating. The deck is completely rotten and dangerous. Don’t lift up the couch cushions. To justify this cost the owner needs to update the home. That’s all there is to it.

We enjoyed our stay and the condo. We felt including pictures of the pool and fitness center were misleading as they are nowhere near the property and cost extra. For future visitors, plan to bring extra kitchen trash bags, TP, and DW soap. It’s helpful to know this in advance. Overall we greatly enjoyed our stay and thought the price was a great value!

Clean, close to lifts, plenty of space. Only downside (not the fault of property owner/management), tight parking/vehicle access. If you have a large SUV or truck you are better off just backing all the way in to the property. Turning around or fitting into the garage is an obvious no go. Great place to stay!

Perfect location. Well furnished.
Property is definitely in need of some updating, but has everything you need. The layout with the different levels is perfect if the grownups want some privacy. The garage is a HUGE benefit for ski gear, or in our case, 4 mountain bikes, (more when the kids' buddies stopped by).
By no means uncleaned, but could probably use a good deep clean.
Not used to not having any contact with the owners. That would have been nice. There were several questions I would have liked to answered, and always feel a bit more comfortable when talking directly to them, as opposed to a management company.
All in all, we will definitely stay here again. You can see the lift and most of the bottom of the trails from the balcony. Makes lunch/snacks an easy trip to the fridge instead of having to eat everything at a restaurant.

great location
we came off-season, a beautiful area to explore. Trails right there up the mountain.
To use the pool was very pricey which I didn't check before I booked but that's on me.
place was well stocked with everything we needed
great communication when we had issues.
trash cans were locked and garage was very small to maneuver into with my explorer, smaller car would be fine.

We Had a few issues., but the Property Manager Matthew was very timely and took care of everything and made sure to make it right for us. Thank you Matthew at Vacasa!

Great place
We liked that it was relatively close to the slopes but it does require a climb up or down. Still v close to the kids ski school. Loved that it had a garage to keep the car clear of snow. VW Atlas just fit. The apartment is getting a little older but still works fine. Kitchen well equiped with utensils. The place was easy to keep warm and plenty of space to keep all you stuff. We would be happy to come back. Internet was fine.

Angel Lift A4 Condo
Location was good other than sketchy path needed to walk down to the ski area. Just some some solid stairs would make it good instead of unmarked path (after snow). Unit had a garage (nice) but owner doesn’t leave opener so you have to get out, unlock front door, open garage and then pull into garage. The unit itself is dated and needs repairs throughout. Nails coming out, Formica buckling in places, updated utensils in kitchen (metal spatula with non stick pans) and it just needs some touch up throughout. The bigger problems were that the television system did not work for our entire 5 day stay and neither did the jacuzzi, which also leaked all across the floor and into the sub floor. The heating system needs updating as we were never sure it actually worked. It’s just a unit that needs updating.

This condo is in the perfect location! The corner unit has beautiful views of the surrounding trees and the resort just below. There is a staircase just outside that takes you directly down to the resort and the Chili Express Lift. This was by far the biggest perk for our group of four since we were there to snowboard for several days.
The condo is a little dated, but it's not a big deal. Really appreciated having access to the garage. The crockpot and electric skillet in the kitchen came in very handy, too!
Really only took off one star due to some missing attention to detail on the cleaning (lots of cobwebs on the ceilings, very dirty fans). When you're there for a week, those are things that get noticed! Also, it was a little light on linens and paper goods (only two bath towels per bathroom, only two small hand towels in the kitchen, very slim supply of paper towels, toilet paper, and trash bags). Would have appreciated a little extra of those things, especially since it is such a sizable condo.
Those issues aside, we would strongly consider returning again to this same condo. It is really hard to beat the location and convenience!

Overall we enjoyed our stay at 4A. There was not a ton of insightful info in the listing when we were looking at this place, so I am going to try to give you some of the insights/pros/cons and the general feel of the condo.
First, the condo is older. It is not a dump, but it is worn in well.
When we got there, the garage was not very clean and had gravel & salt all in it which we had to sweep up before we could unload or it would have been tracked all in the condo. It was nice to have the garage to put the ski equipment in so it didn't have to be stored in the house. Unless you have a compact car, there is no way you can get anything of
size in the garage, esp if you have a lot of ski equipment. There were bikes and the full size dryer is in the garage too so if you park your (little) vehicle in there, you will have a hard time getting to the dryer.
The condo had little issues, like the shower curtain rod in one of the bathrooms was not attached at all. It just rolled around on top of the shower/tub insert. If you put your towel over the rod to dry, then forgot it wasn't attached at all and pull the towel off, it all came crashing down on you (ie- rolled off). There is a huge jacuzzi tub on the bottom floor, but we could not get the jets to work, nor could we figure out if the knobs on the wall were supposed to do anything like to heat up the room (which would have been nice), nor did there seem to be enough hot water to fill up the tub...so we just used it as a shower. A bit of a bummer. The outlet didn't work in the downstairs bathroom. We had to stagger baths because after a few baths, the hot water didn't seem as warm.
There were older turn knobs all over the house, but we could not figure out what they did/should do. We were hoping they would heat up something!
Overall, it was nice. It was well supplied with pillows & blankets. The kitchen was well stocked. The upstairs daybed actually had an extra pull out bed under it that we didn't even realize was there. It would have allowed us to spread out a little more if we had known it (I don't think it was in the listing).
The set up of the condos is such that unit A is closest to the ski
lifts, but you have to walk down some stairs to get there. It's far
enough to walk in ski boots that it is rather uncomfortable, but can be done. A down side to staying so close to the lifts is the noise. There is stuff going on to get ready for the next day, it seems like, all night long. Grooming machines, beeping machines, snow making machines, whatever machines. Then, if it snows, the snow plow is scraping the roads in the early am hours. We realize we choose this location and
were there for a ski trip, but we were not prepared for the noise. No sleeping in (like to a reasonable 7am) without ear plugs.
The house was stocked with all kinds of games and probably anything you might need, but it was like going on a treasure hunt to find it. The hairdryer was in a bedroom, scissors in the great depths of a closet, etc. It was there, but there was a lot of "stuff" and a bit hard to find. It took multiple days to get the downstairs bedroom to warm up. So, we would have liked an additional heater in the downstairs bedroom. After a few days we found a space heater in the garage. If you are an organized person, the clutter might get on your nerves.
Also, in case you are wondering as we were, the "Lifts" condos start with A up on the hill closest to the big ski lift, then B directly across from it (only 2 units), C is a rock's throw from A (a short space from B), then DEF (& G I think) as you go down the hill toward the main turnoff road.
A curtain/shade on the front door would have been nice for privacy. You could see straight in, esp to the downstairs hall area.
Upside- beautiful view, would be eve...

Perfect family getaway
Enjoyed our stay here! Had everything we needed and loved being so close to the slopes! Loved coming back for a lunch break from skiing. Property was just like the pictures! Thank you for a comfortable and enjoyable stay!

Great all around! Loved the views and location.
We stayed - an extended family with two small children (2&4) - although the stairs were a bit worrisome for the littles, it is all carpeted and they were very careful. It was a great space with plenty of room for everyone to have space. There were no cribs or small children accessories (high chair, etc.) but we didn't need any of that.
The views were beautiful, the condo was clean and comfortable, the kitchen has all the basics - well stocked with crock pot, mixer, blender, coffee machine - even some leftover staples in the pantry from prior guests (spices, etc.). There were a couple of old sleds and snow bike available for use, and a bike. We stayed in ski season - a short walk to the base and just around the corner from a ski rental shop and a Mexican restaurant/bar. We enjoyed the location very much and will be back.

Great time!
This lift side condo was great! The kitchen is fully equipped, the location is prime, you can see the base area from your deck and sunset was wonderful over the color changing mountains. Taos was a short scenic drive away where there is free public parking before you have to drive through downtown and within blocks of the Plaza. The condo is tastefully decorated, and the fireplace is a very cozy bonus. This was great for a girls getaway, with large common areas and separate sleeping areas.

Nice!
Lovely place, and location. They should note that you will hear the restaurant live musician right below the balcony, which may or may not be what you enjoy hearing while trying to enjoy the balcony. Other than that, great place!

Horrible communication, but acceptable condo
Overall, the condo was clean and presentable. A few minor items did not work properly (I.e. the drain plug on the hot tub). I had to sit there for 20 minutes holding the drain plug manually. No big deal. We had a nice visit, no question. The issue came at the end after leaving. Our daughter left her retainer and knowing we would pay the added fee, the management wouldn’t even respond/communicate after repeated attempts to reach them. Therefore I would not recommend based on service alone. The owners are probably great, but the management needs to be educated on how to communicate. They are quick to get you in, but care nothing after payment.
