Ein besonderes Motel mit ein wenig Verbesserungspotential!

Das Zimmer ist sehr schick und hat eine besondere Atmosphäre, die man sonst selten findet. Auch wenn das Motel in unmittelbarer Nähe eines viel befahrenen Autobahnzubringers liegt, ist es im Zimmer bei ungeöffnetem Fenster sehr, sehr ruhig. Mit Hund ware es angenehm und unproblematisch.

Auch wenn das Zimmer toll war, so fehlt im Zimmer ein Papierkorb und es fehlen funktionsfähige Nachttische am Bett. Es gibt keine Möglichkeit in erreichbarer Nähe des Bettes etwas abzulegen. Die "Nachttischchen" sind mit einer riesigen, schicken Lampe belegt und ohnehin zu weit vom Bett entfernt. Man muss sich auch verrenken, um das Licht auszuschalten. Schick, aber nicht praktikabel. Im dazugehörigen Restaurant habe ich zu Abend gegessen. Sehr stylisch und schick. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis des Gerichtes hat leider nicht gepasst. Totzdem würde ich sicher dort wieder übernachten.

Pricy for only a pretty looking room and nothing more.

The hotel was clean and the rooms were large. The decor is very eye taking as everything has a strong and well done rustic/lumberjack theme. The restaurant is right next to it so you can eat lunch/dinner there. Parking was free, but at the price they ask you can just as well consider it was more than payed for.

For the price they ask there are no breakfast, no roomservice, no slippers or any other service that would be expected at a whooping 150euro per night price. The lady at the reception who seemed to be the boss made us wait in the car 15 minutes because it was 14:15 and check in was starting at 14:30 although she saw we were with a small baby (1yo) and there were -2 degreees Celsius outside. I harldy believe that the room wasn't done by that time and that the 15 minute wait made a difference. If you are traveling with a todler beware that there are a lot of electricity sockets overall at foot level.

Would not recommend due to cleanliness and extremely low lighting setup.

Location next to the big restaurant with plenty of choice for food and drink with some interesting decor and massive screen and live band. Food was ok, portions were big in restaurant. I appreciate the specific decor of the place which I have liked hence I booked the hotel but the cleanliness and low level of lights ruined the whole effect.

Breakfast starts from 9am so we did not bother to stay as we wanted to hit the road. Room was extremely dark due to weird setup of lights - insufficient lights. We had to use mobile phones in torch option to try to find sockets to plug in phones... Also it wasn't cleaned properly...there was multiple human hair in bed. When I went to bed big ball of dust went up in the air from the sheeting, I hues it fall down from the raindeer head which is suspended above the bed and hard to clean and reach. The whole room felt weird due to low lights and smell of dust in the air. There was also a massive spider in bathroom at height level and visible spider webs so room cleanliness was shocking. Additionally sofas was very hard and not comfortable, bedside cabinet was tiny and in weird shoe that could not even take the mobile phone, there was no sockets to plug phone by the bed. On any other occasion we would not stay in the room like this, we would turn around, hand back keys and would leave but we were after 10h on the road and just needed shower and bed to sleep and hit the road next morning without trying to find another hotel lat win the evening.

Mal was Besonderes

Die Zimmer sind groß und natürlich spektakulär! Unseres sah genau aus wie auf den Bildern. Besonders die indirekte Beleuchtung fanden wir cool (nachdem wir die Lichtschalter seitlich am Nachtisch gefunden haben). Es gibt einen kleinen Kühlschrank, der sogar mit kostenlosen Aufmerksamkeiten gefüllt war. Auch auf das angrenzende Restaurant haben wir uns gefreut. Wir fanden alles lecker und die Karte ist groß, so dass wir auch mehrmals dort Essen waren. Alle Mitarbeiter waren freundlich und auch unser Hund war willkommen.

Da die gesamte Hotelabwicklung im Restaurant passiert, ist alles auch an dessen Öffnungszeiten gekoppelt. Das betrifft Check-ins, aber auch das Frühstück.

Miserable very little ………

I got lunch in the restaurant after I wait till 14:30 the room . Check in before 14:30 they request 20€ it is very miserable policy . Where is the respect of customers? Plus I make reservation for dinner . I paid for 3 people . Last time because quality of steaks is very low. It was impossible to get shoer , only cold water . During the night was -9 outside , cold inside the room .heating was off . Room was not very clean Very bad experience.

Schön Auszeit in tollem Ambiente

Gute Lage, kostenlos Parken, gute Auswahl beim Essen, freundlicher Service aber leider unaufmerksam bei der Frühstücksbestellung (falsch geliefert).

Mehrpreis für das etwas größere Zimmer an Tag 2 nicht notwendig, das kleinere Zimmer war hier im Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis besser.

Außergewöhnliche Gestaltung, gutes Ambiente

Sauberkeit war nicht gegeben, Bettwäsche musste erstmal gewechselt werden (Schmutz, Haare) und Spinnweben gehören trotz BlockhouseCharme nicht in taugen Mengen ins Zimmer.

Passing through and needed a place for the night

The place was beautiful. Bed was comfortable and staff was friendly. The restraunt was beautiful and tasted great! Highly recommend.

There was a bit of hair on the bed when we got there.

Clean and spacious rooms, but air conditioning didn't properly cool the room

Our stay was adequate. Room was clean. The bed was comfortable as were the pillows. Wifi was okay in most places in the room but dropped in a few spots. If not a really hot day/night, we would have enjoyed the stay more I think.

If we hadn't been in the middle of a heatwave advisory, we would likely have enjoyed our stay more, but the air conditioning wasn't sufficiently cooling the room. I actually changed our reservations in town to go to a hotel that had air conditioning because of the heat. They either have the temperature capped to not be allowed lower than a certain amount or the A/C unit just isn't suitable for the size of room. We carry a clip on fan, but the room decor didn't offer a place to clip it to. I'd seen they offer a complimentary mini-bar, so I wrote in my room request/comments that we don't drink alcohol and like still water. All that was left in the mini-bar was sparkling water and alcohol, but the mini-bar advertisement mentioned soda and tea. They probably just didn't read my request, but I felt like we were being pranked.

Rustic comfort

I was a little surprised by the location because the hotel is so rustic but located in an industrial area.

Was ok and good location, however not happy about being woken up by angry staff member.

Good location.

That we got woken up at 9.30pm by an angry staff member demanding us paying them for early check in because they forgot. We said we are happy to pay this at check out and she would not allow it. We were very annoyed to be woken up after a long day at a work conference. The facilities for the money paid did not meet standards. Towels were old and small and for the money paid you would expect top notch facilities. The lady the next day however was not happy with us being woken up and said it is not on, so this was good of her. Also was not told of any breakfast.

Absolutely beautiful hotel, we will be back!

Amazing style and decor, incredibly luxurious in every way; one of the most spectacular hotels I’ve seen. Fabulous restaurant and delicious food.

Just a couple of small suggestions - there was no dustbin in the bedroom and no tissues anywhere.

Good

The mortal is conveniently located near the road, and the style is nice. There’s a restaurant just next to it where one can have breakfast. Technically there’s even no reception, you’re checked in by the waiters from the restaurant.

Rooms on the first floor face people passing by, so just be prepared for that. When we arrived to our room there was a giant spider in the bathroom (no kidding, like 8 cm long). I came back to the restaurant to ask for help cause I have a phobia, and a lady told it’s not their job to help us (well there’s no proper reception so I can’t ask anyone else). Another waitress actually came with us and took the spider away — sorry I don’t know your name, but if you’re reading it, thank you so much!

Great base to explore Kassel.

Location, facilities, parking, safety, security, proximity to grocery store.

Price for meals, to me, was very high. Also, the staff was not as friendly as I had hoped.
