This was a great house for our large extended family. Anything we needed was right at our fingertips. I would definitely stay here again.

The house is great! Perfect for our family. It has two separate living spaces. We put the party crew in what we called the frat house, which has the pool table wet bar and bedrooms. The babies and older crew stayed in the main house.

Maggie’s house was absolutely amazing! Thoughtfully laid out with multiple areas to convene, a large kitchen to accomplish any and all group meals, and enough space to host several pups and 23 family members!
The kids had a blast on the large lawn area playing with the numerous acitivities available at the property, and the adults enjoyed the view and different areas to take a nap.
Clear Lake is not clear - depending on the time of year, it is not recommended to get into the water for swimming activities near the dock. We did not have a boat/jet skis, but the dock is available if you bring them!
This was an amazing property and stay, would definitely come back for an annual family vacation.

Big house, and kitchen for a birthday and lots of family! Ample room and very well appointed with a lot of extra yard games and toy to play with. Hosts were helpful (especially when a few items were left accidentally behind). We rented wave runners and a boat on the lake and was great to have the dock to keep them. Everyone really enjoyed the house and lake!

This place was absolutely amazing. We had 20+ family and friends stay with us for an extended weekend and small wedding; and everyone loved the house and property. It was incredibly spacious and the views were amazing. We were also incredibly surprised with all of the amenities included - i.e. the kitchen was completely stocked and had everything you could possibly need for hosting a large event. They also had lots of water and lawn toys which everyone enjoyed. The multiple patios were clean, had comfortable seating for everyone and were a huge hit. We also rented a pontoon boat and ski boat and were able to use the private dock to board/un-board which was so convenient for everyone. It was the perfect location to host our wedding and reception. The property host (Maggie) was great to work with and extremely responsive.

Even better than expected!
We had an amazing week with 25 family and friends at the North Shore house for a small, intimate wedding ceremony. Not only was the house even better than we expected, but the surrounding area was great. There was so much to do that we barely even scrated the surface. All the locals were friendly and made us feel welcome. We hiked, swam in the nearby reservoir, rented a boat for the lake, visited wineries and restaurants. There was also lots of wildlife around, including otter, osprey, quail, grebe, and deer.
The lake house is secluded and has plenty of lovely, mature, shady oak trees. Sitting on the back porch for the lake views was a highlight. We had plenty of space for all 25 of us, and since the house is split into the main house and the pool house, we never felt too crowded. If anyone needed some alone time, it was easy to do.
The host was responsive and helpful. They even sent extra ping pong and foosball balls to the house mid-week. The house was clean and comfor
There were bugs at night, but the tiki torches did a good job detering them. Mosquitos normally love me, but I wasn't bothered much at all this week.
We did not swim off the house dock because of the algae and cyanobacteria, but that did not bother us. All of the indoor and outdoor spaces provided and optimum setting for conversation and enjoying each other's company.

Wonderful vacation for 14 adults and a baby
The property itself is as advertised. It has plenty of space for everyone. One thing to note is that there are only four bedrooms with absolute privacy, one of which is a converted garage. There is a fifth with a door but windows looking in and a sixth (office/den) with a door but it’s open to the kitchen below. The seventh “bedroom” is the loft described with four beds. This worked for us but it might not for others. We had a few hiccups along the way, including the AC going out downstairs, the gate not working, the BBQ unusable (back up BBQ provided) and the back door being extremely hard to open and close. But the communication was beyond fantastic and everything that could be fixed was. The water was green everywhere, but especially bad in front of the house. That can’t be helped this time of year, though, and we expected it to an extent. The dock was still usable and we easily docked our three boats for the week. Overall, we had a great time and I would definitely recommend this property to those going to Clear Lake.

A Wonderful Space for a Large Family Group
The house and property were spacious and beautiful with a great view of the lake. We really enjoyed both the upper and lower patios for dining and games. And the side grass area was great for games also. We weren't able to swim in the water due to the algae. But the kids enjoyed playing on the dock. There is lots to do with the pool table, ping pong, fooseball areas and the large driveways allowed for fun with scooters and bikes. Also the kitchen was spacious and very well stocked.

Perfect spot for our group
We had a large group of about 22 and we just wanted a place to be together for a few days over Labor Day. We found this place last minute after our original plan of a house boat on lake Shasta was cancelled because of the smoke. We loved that we were still able to rent boats and jet skis and had lots of fun on the lake. The house was well equipped and could have comfortably slept way more than we had. The only issues we had were with the shocking amount of bugs there were when you were outside. You had to be SO careful and immediate about rushing inside and closing the door quickly or bugs would get in. This was our only complaint but really had nothing to do with the property itself, but was an annoyance to our group.

Family Vacation
The property was great for our family of 12. Plenty of room for everyone. Loved all the games and outdoor space. Was disappointed that the volleyball net was not set up and there was no way we could set it up ourselves. Also, no hammock like in the photos. The shower pipe in the master bath had a leak which caused the carpet outside the shower to become soaking wet - musty, mildewy odor.

The lake was terrible and not at all what was advertised. Terrible week for our family!
This vacation was not what was advertised. The lake was disgusting and smelly. No one was able to swim in the green nasty water. The pictures in this ad are a total misrepresentation. The algae blooms were terrible. Absolutely unswimable off the dock. Even out in the lake was terrible. It ruined our swimsuits and our boat.

Beautiful Wedding Venue
We rented this beautiful property for our wedding. It was perfect! Used the master bedroom as the bridal suite. The guys got ready & played pool before the ceremony. We had 100+ guests for the wedding. Highly recommend for your wedding or a family vacation. The owners were great! Have a great time & enjoy the views!

Great property for family reunion
We stayed here with approx 30 people and there was plenty of space and refrigerators! We loved our time here, the home is beautiful and comfortable. The only downside would be there property had excessive cobwebs- I know it is impossible to get rid of all of them but some areas didn't look like they had been cleaned in a while. The house didn't feel dirty but a few guests committed on the cleanliness. One found a French fry in their bed (not their French fry) and another found hair in the shower that didn't belong to us. This is a large house and overall had a great feel to it. The AC works great and the house was nice and cool. The views were beautiful. The large grass area was perfect for family Olympics and games in general. Our dogs were in heaven! The ramp down to the dock is VERY steep and some of our group couldn't walk down it to go on our boat. The lake itself was disappointing with the algae and the choppiness. We weren't aware of the ocean like swells (3 to 4 feet) and the limitations on clearlake (we were told not to leave our protected area in front of the house after 2pm). The house is located in a great location as it is protected from the wind by the mountains. Maggie was very responsive and helpful. We had one issue while we were there and she responded immediately and did everything she could to make things right. Definitely recommend the property!

It was such a beautiful property. We definitely loved how spacious it was inside and out... it rained one of the days we were there, but there were so much space for everyone that we did not feel crowded inside. Once the sunshine broke through, we took advantage of the lake front fishing and doing mini photo shoots around the property! If I could share the gorgeous pictures we took, it’s breathtaking (my profile picture is of us in our traditional clothing on the dock). Maggie was amazing with communication, and always responded immediately with any questions I had. We will definitely be coming back next Spring!

Great property
The property was great and right on the water. The amenities were awesome and my group had a great time. Check-in and out was super easy and the host was very receptive when we had a small issue that was resolved promptly.
We'd definitely stay here again!
Note: There was some algae in the lake, but it IS Clearlake and we knew what we were getting into. There wasn't any smell and if you have a boat, kayak, or paddle board it is easy to go out off the dock a few hundred feet to algae-free water.
