Enjoy the tranquil and peaceful setting directly on the Withlacoochee River. This special home offers a beautiful natural setting and many extras to enjoy during your stay.
Relax on the very cozy outdoor lanai while experiencing the beautiful surroundings. You will be in awe of the morning view from the upstairs bedroom overlooking the tranquil river setting. It is a bird watcher’s paradise with many bird sounds to greet you. Your morning coffee never tasted so good!
You can fish right off the floating dock or adventure out in one of the kayaks to discover the truly amazing surroundings which include an 8,000 acre nature preserve directly across the river. In the past, we have seen deer, hogs, and even otters playing on the shore bank of that preserve.
Enjoy the newly renovated kitchen that any chef would love! There is a pool table for those fun game challenges. You can experience an early morning soak, afternoon swim or an evening gathering in the swim spa/hot tub that can’t be beat!
A master bedroom upstairs and an upstairs loft with a queen size sleeper sofa as well as two downstairs guest bedrooms allow this home to accommodate 8 guests.
Spend a day floating down the crystal clear Rainbow River which is just minutes away! If you’re interested in chartering a 1/2 day pontoon river boat trip right from your dock with a certified boat captain, let us know and we get you in touch with the Captain to make that happen.
We are close to Crystal River where you can see the manatees or schedule a seasonal scalloping trip. Also, the amazing World Equestrian Center is just a short drive away!
For your added comfort and security we have an electronic gate to access the property and have installed blink security cameras outside front and back doors. Due to the close proximity of the river, NO child is allowed UNDER 6. Also, in consideration of future guests with allergies, we do not accept indoor smoking or any pets on the premises.

Beautiful home with a perfect location on the river. Home was spacious and clean. Plenty of room for 8 guests. The home is secluded and very private. You feel like you are alone on the river. Rainbow Springs is only a short drive away. Hosts were very friendly and easy to contact.

Karen and Kevin’s home is absolutely stunning! We were able to dock our boat and enjoyed most of our days cruising the Withlacoochee and Rainbow Rivers. My boys loved kayaking, shooting pool, the swim spa, and making smores over the fire pit. I appreciated the fully equipped kitchen and loved drinking my morning coffee on the screened-in back porch while listening to the tranquil sounds of nature. We did experience a significant HVAC issue that was resolved promptly after reaching out to Kevin. My family and I are truly grateful for such a memorable summer escape!

All was good except for the air handler leaking water into a bedroom. Host ordered a shop vac if needed but we kept the water at bay with towels. Grill could use a good cleaning and updating and firepit emptied.
Host had kayaks for us to use big thumbs up.

This fantastical residence is the perfect place for a true relaxing vacation. The home is exceptionally clean with a great cooks kitchen.
Wifi was excellent. The true magic of this property is the large screened back patio overlooking the multi level docks on the river.
Fishing was fantastic. Everything you could possibly need is a short 10-15 minute drive.
This property has now become our go to choice for future stays in the area. 5 stars.

Our 2nd time at this property. It is beautiful along the river. The way it is situated you are unaware of the neighbors, which makes this home a perfect spot to feel secluded, wether it’s enjoying the swim spa or reading on the lanai. The kayaks are a wonderful addition for some outdoor activities and the river is really amazing to kayak in. Karen and Kevin are prompt on responses.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Paradise on the Riverbend!! House was perfect for a girls getaway weekend. Immaculate home with plenty of room to spread out - the 8 of us had a blast. Chilled dockside and could see deer across from the nature preserve. Weather was amazing! Used the kayaks to explore, nightly fire pit fun, huge hot tub!! We picked oranges for our Mimosas. Neighbors were extremely friendly and even borrowed cornhole boards and more kayaks. Thanks Karen for your quick responses and for allowing us to stay in your slice of paradise!! WITHLACOOCHEE did not disappoint. Would rent again :)

This cabin on the river was absolutely fantastic! It was so peaceful and relaxing. We loved fishing everyday and just sitting outside watching nature. The house exceeded my expectations and was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. Beautiful decor and interior design. Just great all around!

Beautiful house. Well acquainted and stocked. The hot tub was enormous and lovely to soak in on a cool winter night. There are some stairs in the house that take some getting used to but I loved it here and plan to return.

PERFECT!! We loved everything about this home & the location. If this home was for sale, I would seriously consider moving there. The kitchen has everything you need plus some. The living area, and the bedrooms are very comfortable. It has an amazing view, with great outside amenities. I have rented quite a few properties, and this is by far the best of the best!

Extremely relaxing, with great view of the river. Home has everything you need. Beds comfortable. Host has clear explanations for things. All the extra amenities are a plus. Easy access to restaurant’s and shopping. Had a charter inland Gulf fishing trip from Yankeetown that is convenient to get to from the house Host communicated quickly to all questions. Easy problem free wonderful vacation.

The house really suited us and our friends. Really nice location beside the river. Karen and Kevin were really responsive hosts and could t have been better communicating with us. We lived the space and the views, especially from the upstairs bedroom. Only downside for us was that the fridge could have been emptied of out of day condiments but that’s being picky about a really nice rental.

My boyfriend and I definitely enjoyed our time at this property. The location was wonderful and private. It was only a short drive to the Rainbow River and Homosassa Springs from the house. The view of the river and nature preserve from the house and on the water was very beautiful and peaceful. The house itself was well stocked with all the necessities. We enjoyed using the kayaks, pool table and swim spa during our stay. The property owners were very responsive to our questions. I definitely recommend this property to anyone looking to have a peaceful getaway in nature.

This VRBO was nothing less than spectacular! We had everything we needed to enjoy and nice, relaxing vacation! My son and his best friend spent most of their time on the dock fishing, while the rest of us enjoyed the amazing screened in porch and swing! We would definitely love to come back and stay again!!! Super nice and neat!!

Pictures don’t do this place justice, it was more than what we could have imagined. Being in Karen and Kevin’s home made us feel like we were staying in a family friends home. Don’t worry about bringing anything with you because they have it ALL. The kitchen was fully loaded with more than we needed. Everything was very clean and the communication was excellent. We enjoyed everyday on the kayaks, fishing in the backyard, and then enjoying a movie every night as a family. If your looking to relax and let the struggles of the world disappear then this is the place to stay. It’s a very peaceful place and close to the springs. Excellent location.

Great location and definitely the most well stocked rental we have stayed in. Kitchen has everything, bathrooms have full size toiletries, kayaks were a great addition and really made the whole trip. Had a slight issue with AC towards the end of the trip however it was after several close lightening strikes and couldn’t be prevented. Hosts were very responsive and flexible with us, would stay again with no hesitation.

Paradise- yes, the name is appropriate, if you’re looking for a quiet getaway. House is great- beautiful, plenty of room, clean, well stocked. The location on the river, with the nature preserve on the other side- 99% quiet and serene- with a rare motor whizzing by.

We had the most amazing time staying at this beautiful, peaceful property! My husband, myself and our 2 college-age sons enjoyed re-connecting at this home. The hosts had thought of every detail to make our stay comfortable, including nightlights throughout, cozy throw blankets for movie-watching, and candles on timers that automatically turned on at dusk! We played pool and enjoyed the HUGE hot tub and fire pit every night. The location is secluded and quiet, but still close to some very good restaurants. Many thanks to our hosts and we hope to return again to this river paradise!

We had an amazing stay at the river.The House was spotless and Beautiful. We had read reviews saying they had anything and everything you will need and It was True. From household items to seasonings even extra fishing tackle they really had it all there,we did not have run out to the store once. So Peaceful and just a perfect Getaway. We enjoyed relaxing days sitting on the dock watching the river and listening to the sounds of the wildlife. The screened in porch was perfect for sitting outside in the evening. This was my families 3rd stay here! It gives us the perfect chance to get out of the city and to relax and rewind. House is perfect for s’mores, watching the river for gators and relaxing in the swim spa. Owners as well as their son was easy to get ahold of if needed. We also had the pleasure of going on a boat ride down the Withlacoochee with Joel (recommended by the owners). He offered several different day trips/half day trips/fishing etc and even was flexible with some weather during the week. Great stay!

Amazing and beautiful property! It was exactly what we were looking for. House is fully stocked with everything you could need. We even brought a bunch of spices and other tools for the kitchen to make dinners and ended up not even needing to bring anything cause it was all there. Kids absolutely loved the massive swim spa and pool table. Short drive to rainbow springs and tubing. Screened in back patio and firepit out back for smores. I day dream about buying this house!

Could not have asked for anything more. We made unforgettable memories with family and friends. We already can't wait to go back next year. Everything was superb. Communication with the hosts was great. The house was so beautiful, clean and comfortable. The large kitchen and way it's set up was great for cooking and socializing. We really enjoyed everything. It was so peaceful and relaxing along the river.
