High thread count sheets, a full kitchen, outside seating, fenced private backyard await your family as you make your escape to paradise. This darling cottage maintains its original footprint from the 1950's. Pristine, light reflective, restored terrazzo flooring and jalousie windows throughout make for wonderful ocean breezes for you to delight in.

**UPDATE** While most of my reviews reflect one room, I have since opened the entire house to accommodation. There are now three bedrooms (1 queen, 1 queen, 2 twin), two bathrooms, and full kitchen/living space.**

Small home in an older part of Vero Beach. The location is near old down town that is undergoing a revitalization process. Neighborhood is okay, but not a good place to go for a walk. No sidewalks or anything. Quick drive over to the island and the beach. If you are planning to stay to make meals and cook, know this is a very small kitchen. Functional, but I didn't attempt to cook in it beyond using the microwave.

THREE and A HALF STARS This review really applies to long term renters, more than a week. For 2-4 adults for a week or less, the rental is fine. 5 min car ride to the beaches, quiet area, rental is small but cute, some stores and restaurants near-by, easy access to others over the bridge to the beach area. The owner did respond quickly to kitchen sink leaks. For longer term rentals—ours was 25 days—one main problem is lack of storage for clothes and food. Closets are very small, one opens up to back of washer/dryer. Love fresh air but another problem is none of windows on front of house have screens, so bugs get in, esp at night. Other screens are ill-fitting. The couch—really a loveseat— is not great and has stains over a large part. The kitchen sink leaked twice, the first time was on day one from prior renters—a large cooking bowl under the sink was full of grey water, shelving warped from prior damage. Front deck needs repair/ replace. If 6 adults are there—using the 3 bedrooms—there are only 4 seats in the living room. Kitchen does have barstools. It could be a really cute rental with some updates and maintenance.

We arrived late at night, and the host had lights and music on to welcome us which was much appreciated! We were away every day, but it was so nice to have a quaint and charming place to which we could come 'home.'

We enjoyed the little house in Vero Beach. Great communication for our whole stay. Very convenient location in a quiet neighborhood. Nice pet friendly place with fenced back yard. Would gladly stay again some day.

Very clean and unique decor. Loved being only 2 miles to the beach and even closer to grocery stores and restaurants. Only problem was Bedroom TV not working and owner did not reply when I messaged her regarding this. Overall, very nice accommodations.

Clean, quiet, well-appointed, great bed. After spending a month in Bonita Beach on the west/gulf side, our visit to Vero was shocking. Quiet and calm greeted us. As we both can work remotely, we took the opportunity to be outside in the sun. Kari’s place is not in a resort area- it is in a mixed neighborhood with young families and retirees. We walked the area and felt safe. She supplied ample towels, linens, toiletries, beach chairs and even aloe if you had too much sun. We loved being 5 minute drive to quaint downtown with free parking and tons of space to ourselves on the beach. Kari, we are returning next year and even considering retiring to Vero Beach. Thank you

My friend and I came here for a quiet spring break and it was absolutely perfect!! A quick drive to the beach and to shopping areas with an absolutely INCREDIBLE host. Kari was accommodating and caring and made the stay in her sweet room that much better. Will definitely be coming back!!

Sweet. Clean. Beautiful. Full of perks. Extras like quality coffee, probiotic fruit and nut bag. Lots of water bottles, a cold beer, and more. It is a tiny room, yes, but full of wholesome goodness. Very quiet street.

My husband & I were making a quick stop to the area to visit family. The room was very clean & easy to access with a private entrance. Kari provided information about a great restaurant that we could walk to for breakfast. We managed to do a quick wash while eating before Heading out. Kari was easy to communicate with & very responsive.
