About this apartment rental
Seamist is a private, 12 unit only condo building with spectacular, oceanfront views both from inside the unit and from the top-floor balcony (unit #6) of the pristine white sands and crystal clear waters of the Emerald Coast. It is nestled immediately between Seaside Beach & Watercolor Resort and Alys & Rosemary Beach.
This condo is a beautiful one bedroom (with king-sized bed)/one bath with an additional set of twin stacking bunk beds. Unit 6 is crisp, clean and extremely welcoming. The brand new kitchen is fully equipped with all the dishware and appliances you will need. There is easy seating at the bar and dining table. Also included: wifi, full-sized/stacked w/d, 2 grilling areas on a small, nice green lawn for the kids to play on while the sun begins to set.
You will have the entire condo to yourself. I have a wonderful property manager that lives in the area and is available if you have any problems. My husband and I are available by phone, text, or email to answer any questions you might have.
Seamist on Scenic Highway 30A offers easy access to scenic hike and bike trails along the coast; deep-sea diving and other ocean activities at marinas in both Panama City Beach and Destin; shopping and browsing of art galleries and boutiques at Seaside, Watercolor and the surrounding beach communities; golfing at award-winning courses such as Camp Creek, Shark's Tooth, Origins and Santa Rosa Beach Golf & Beach Club; extraordinary dining from barefoot beachfront to world-class cuisine; and unique local entertainment impossible to resist such as farmer's markets, free outdoor repertory theater each evening and many live bands and musicians. In the end, though, the memories of moving on 'beach time' and of the peace and relaxation that comes from the sound and beauty of the crashing waves on the white sands and from breathtaking sunsets will be what you will likely enjoy the most.
The 30A sidewalk runs in front of the condo which many people use to bike to Alys Beach (1.5 miles east), Rosemary Beach (2 miles east), The Hub (an outdoor entertaining and casual dining area 1 mile west), and of course Seaside (6 miles west). Renting bikes is easy. There are lots of reasonably priced vendors in the area and they deliver and pick up the bikes to/from the condo - even if you aren't there at the time.
A single parking pass is left in the condo for you and is required to remain on your windshield during your stay. While each guest receives a parking pass, we sometimes have non-guests use our parking lot. Cars that don't have the parking pass clearly visible may get towed at the owner's expense. Sorry for the inconvenience, but not having a parking space is more inconvenient ;) There are fences that restrict beach access to guests only. All guests will receive detailed driving directions prior to arrival.
Cleaning Process
o Extra time is allowed for enhanced cleaning procedures.
o Surfaces are cleaned and then disinfected, in two distinct steps.
o A bleach solution is used on surfaces for disinfecting. The solution is allowed to linger on the surface.
o Cleaning crews use hand sanitizer as they leave their vehicles.
o Cleaning personnel follow CDC handwashing guidelines throughout the day.
o Cleaning crews use masks and disposable gloves.
o As always, remote check-ins eliminate face-to-face interactions.
o Cleaning crews put on fresh gloves after handling dirty linens.
o Blankets/comforters are removed for laundering and replaced with a freshly washed item.
Guest Should
o Vacate the unit prior to cleaning crews entering.
o Follow CDC recommended social distancing while staying at the condo

We loved our stay at Seamist! The lounge and table and chairs on the deck were perfect for relaxing while watching and listening to the waves. The furniture and bed were comfortable. The view was incredible. We were close to shops and restaurants. We would love to return!

Great location and views on 30A right on the beach! Easy bike ride or car hop to the restuarants / shops to the west or east, but the condo is away from those more crowded areas. Comfortable condo inside and especially on the deck! We plan on coming back to Seamist!

This condo was exactly what we were looking for our anniversary weekend. The location was perfect for biking and enjoying the beach. We enjoyed the double lounger and table on the patio to relax day and night and eat all our meals. The master bed was very comfortable and the condo was well stocked and super clean. We will be back

We really like the location of this unit. And we spend most of our time on the porch (shade or sun) or in the kitchen or out on the beach. The kitchen is easy to use and well furnished and we enjoy eating in most of the time.
Sitting on the porch, reading or watching the water and the wildlife is a great way to unwind. A trip out to Buddy's Seafood Market and we were all set for a shrimp feast!
When sunset comes, you can go out to the landing at the top of the stairs and be social with other friendly guests, or just watch the show from the balcony. Beautiful way to end the day!

Loved this property! Great access to the beach and places to eat. Publix is only 2 miles away.
My husband and I were able to run 6 miles on the bike/walking paths and it was wonderful.
Owners provided dishwasher and laundry soap and responded quickly when I had a question about the coffee maker. Highly recommend for a couple or a family with two young children.

Great location! Away from the bustle of Seaside, close to Publix. Watched dolphins as I enjoyed my morning coffee on the covered porch on the second floor. The view was perfect. Nicely furnished and very clean. Our hosts provided everything we needed for a wonderful week.

The property was in the best location!! We loved the easy access to the expansive, beautiful white beach. The condo was very well-stocked with everything you could possibly need. The owners were timely with all communication and very informative!!

My husband and I stayed here for 6 nights for our 10 yr wedding anniversary, and it did not disappoint! We saw dolphins every morning, the kitchen was very well stocked, and the sand and crystal clear water was just a few steps away. It made our first trip to Florida a memorable one.

Wow! For lack of another word. This place is so amazing, awesome. Everything I was hoping for Right on the beach , peaceful. Loved the long walks in the morning on the white sand. My husband said the bed was extremely comfortable. Lounger on the patio was one of his favorites. We definitely will be back . I hope sooner than later! Thanks Jessica your prompt precise instructions and communication added to the wonderful time we spent at your place. The area was the best along 30A.

Location is great. Condo was clean. Extra large old furniture through out the condo. Two faded over-size couches, a large square ottoman/coffee table, three wooden chairs and two faded over-size footstools took up the entire living space. Furniture from glass sliding door to the footstools under the bar. Was not possible to sit down or walk around in between the furniture.
Patio furniture on the deck was new and very enjoyable. Bed linens and bath towels were warn out and faded. Very disappointed !

We had a great time at Seamist #6. It has a cute cottage feel and vibe. The absolute best is the double lounger on the deck where you can relax listening to the sounds of the waves and birds. Totally what we wanted and the place delivered. Just steps to the beach, yet high enough to watch the dolphins, pelicans and other beach life. Nearby are plentiful options for dining and activities. Would recommend and if we are in the area again, will definitely stay again.

We had a great stay! Perfect view! We enjoyed the covered porch and sunbed despite rain and wind. Condo was well stocked and clean. Hosts were very responsive and pleasant to deal with. Great info provided on local businesses, restaurants and things to do!

The place was exactly as expected. Loved the deck that we enjoyed our meals each day. Comfy lounge for two in addition to the table and four chairs. Quality outdoor furniture. The inside also has comfy furniture and the bed mattress was perfect. Weather was cooler first two days, but the weather was warm for the remainder. Loved the private beach.

The location of the property is perfect with an incredible view for a relaxing get-away. Although a bit dated, the condo was immaculately clean and comfortable. The balcony chase lounge was especially wonderful for taking in the view!

Unbelievable View!

Easy process. Perfect balcony for watching the ocean and just steps away to beach. Very homey feel and also close to everything. Definitely on our favorite list. Already looking for dates for next time.
