After a busy yet wonderful Christmas, Home has had a extra cleaning, all bedding washed and sanitized! New Sheets & Towels!! New Carpet!!

We are Walking distance from Waterway; Boat Launch less than 1 mile from home and Room for Boat/Trailer Parking in driveway(please respect there is no parking in front yard)!!

Relax and unwind in a setting that has a flexible layout. Offering 3 bedrooms, 1.5 bath. Perfect for Families with kids, Golfers, or fishing pals. New pillow top mattress for great night sleep. Enjoy morning coffee with Keurig machine. Enjoy A quiet evening on front screened porch, enjoy small meal on Charcoal grill(located under carport). Smart Tv’s and WiFi access.
Our location means you’re only a few minutes away from the bridge that leads you to the beach. If your interest is fishing then you’ll find opportunities everywhere from beach, pier & charter boats. If you love golf then in addition to 3 signature golf courses across street at Sea Trail Community there are many others within a 5 mile radius. There are many quaint shops, grocery store, restaurants and ice cream/slushy shops within reach to our home: not to mention Calabash, NC just 2 miles away. Larger Ocean Isle Beach is within 4 miles and has its own atmosphere and opportunities for recreation(offering new park for kids).

Great family place to stay, small pet friendly which is perfect for us. We have used this place three different years and always look for it when we gonto Sunset Beach. Great communication with owner. Appliances are a little dated but worked no issues. Overall we loved staying because of location and family setting.

As soon as we walked into the cottage, we were greeted by a super strong odor of cat or dog urine. We left the doors open to try and air it out, but unfortunately the smell never went away while we were there. When I sat on the floor to help my kids with something, the odor was unbearable in more than one of the rooms. Overall, the carpet and the place looked clean, but the smell was a major problem. My kids initially slept in the front bedroom. There are blinds but no curtains in that room and unfortunately the blinds did not keep out the light from the street light that was right outside the window. Both of our kids ended up waking up and coming into the other rooms to sleep. I tried to stay in that room to get my son back to bed but it was even too bright in there for me to sleep in there. On the positive, we initially went to the wrong address and when we called the owner about not being able to get in, she was very response and answered right away. We also messaged her about the smell and she responded right away but did not offer any solutions. My kids loved that there was a small table and children’s chairs on the porch they could sit on. The location was great for the event we were attending and it was nice to at least have a place to store our stuff while we went to the beach. But we could not stay there a second night with how bad the smell was. Overall, the property was largely as advertised, not 5 star accommodations by any means, but adequate minus the smell.

We had an issue with this property, we called the owners and they quickly resolved the issue and put us in a different rental that they had available. The new home was clean, well stocked and had everything that we needed. We are so thankful that the owners worked with us in a timely manner.

Pictures are deceiving. Pictures show a clean/stain free home with some different furniture. The biggest issue this house had was serious moisture and mustiness issues. Ceiling in living room was bulging from moisture and a musky smell was very apparent. My son has asthma and developed a cough from the stay after one night. We vacated after the first night to a hotel for remainder of our vacation because we felt it wasn't safe for our family's health to stay. Carpets in whole home were extremely stained. Carpets were cut and layered to cover up issues. What looked like dried blood was on a curtain. There was also a large roach sighting. The moisture/asthma issue was reported to the host and no response has been received....

The pictures make it look like a cute little beach house, but it is actually an old, creaky, smelly, run down trailer. There is a curtain instead of a door to one of the bedrooms, and same for the 2nd bathroom, which kept falling down. The main bedroom door was slatted and partially broken. Most of the door knobs were broken and doors closed with hook and eye latches. The dishes were covered in some kind of dust/sawdust. Also, there is a mirror bolted to the wall directly in front of the toilet. Owner was very quick and courteous with responses regarding booking and check in.

We loved the quiet neighborhood and how many rooms there were. The carpets are filthy and several of our family had bug bites/allergic reactions due to the age of the trailer and furniture. All in all it was a good stay but we won’t be returning

Me and my daughter just wanted to get away for the weekend. We chose Sunset Beach our stay at the property was quiet simple just what we needed. The place was clean. We had everything we needed. I recommended to stay there and we will be going back.

It was great to get away for a weekend. Only thing is we wished at least one door (not many of them) locked. The kiddos barged in and there was zero privacy haha it was very close to all activities though so we didn't spend much time there during the day

The "cottage" wasn't what we expected but everything turned out good. The "cottage" was small but well stocked and good for our family of 4. House could use some upgrades, the stove was a pain to use. Great location close to everything!

Property manager was great to work with and very quick to respond to communication. House location is great for both beach fun and shopping. There were some dirty dishes and an I emptied trash can….it appeared that housekeeping May got have been in a rush. Otherwise great experience

This was not a cottage it was a mobile home with two bedrooms added onto back.

After the initial shock it was a modified single wide with two bedrooms added on with only a curtain separating one bathroom and one bedroom. We adapted. The neighbor hood was quite and serene just minutes from Food Lion and Dollar General for supplies and the beach. We had one plumbing issue which the host corrected as soon as she could. The dryer was outside on carport and the washing machine got out of round in its spin cycle with each wash. We had a great air conditioning system and instant hot water, clean beds, we loved the porch as well. Over all our family of 7 had a wonderful time.

Absolutely filthy, safety hazards, no grass for pets and a $20 broke charcoal grill! What a joke. Worst experience we’ve ever had on VRBO….shame on you! I’ve got pictures that would gross people out! I don’t live in filth!
