The property is well taken care of and located in a neighborhood where we did not question our safety. The host had many extra touches around the home that made our stay even better.

The house is located in an area that is pretty quiet and shaded. Felt like a very safe area. There were a number of places within walking distance or a very short Uber ride. The house is old but very clean and charming and even has a little Koi pond and great back yard space. Would stay again.

We had a long weekend with the gals and had a great time! The location was perfect for us. Walked to Power & Lights as well as other smaller markets around the area. We also just hung out at the house because it was so cute and we loved it! Would highly recommend staying here!

What an interesting place to stay!! Excellently refinished historic home in neighborhood that is evolving into something new and exciting. Fun to explore and close to everything. It's a bit pricy, but is roomy and comfortable.

What a cute location. The host were very easy to communicate with. There are so many touches that really let you know that this home is loved even when it’s not a vacation spot. So central to tons of cute neighborhood, but a nice little quiet spot when you’re ready to come home. Shower is glorious, beds are comfy, coffee set up is convenient and the back yard is next level for hangs.

The house was lovely and stocked with all kinds of fun amenities. We loved the neighborhood and walking to great restaurants. It rained one day, and we sat in the covered space and enjoyed the storm. We would definitely stay here again.

The best stocked place we've ever stayed - from French press coffee (and pod coffee if that's your thing) to laundry detergent and bags. LOVE the bathroom (heated floor and huge shower). Location was perfect. We walked to the Convention Center and restaurants, and took very short ubers around town. Very responsive hosts. It is our new #1 place to stay when in KC.

We were there for a wedding. The location was .3 miles from wedding venue. So many places to eat close by. We ordered dinner one night and ate on the back patio. Communication with owners was quick and there were very easy to work with.

Turn of century charming weekend retreat
Came to KC for a much needed mother daughter weekend. Found we were located in a downtown, area which is being reclaimed and rebuilt. The home was charming from the moment we walked in the door. I am a huge fan of the turn-of-the-century era, and this home did not disappoint! Original floors (so you cannot ever sneak around. Lol), love the clawfoot bathtub, the modern elements were everywhere but did not detract from the feel of the home. We were in love with the staircase, and loved how its ise over 130 years was still visble. We sat in every room and even the cloests wondering about the people that lived there and how they used those spaces. The fish were a nice touch in the beautiful backyard too. The Wlcome basket and little labels and notes everywhere. I cannot say enough good things! Plus! I am going to buy myself those same pilllows, and that same shampoo when I get home. I have not slept that well in years-
We did try two of the restaurants located just a few blocks away. Highly recommend any of them. We were also amazed at how CLOSE we were to everything we wanted to see downtown. The location was perfect to anywhere we went it seemed.. If we get to come back to KC, this is the place I am staying. Thank you so much, all of your little touches made a huge difference to our mother/daughters weekend. Thank you!
