This newly constructed, incredibly appointed home will serve as your family's beach COMPOUND! Two homes on site that are BOTH independently equipped: from washers/dryers to all essential kitchen needs! Perfect for multi-family vacations with plenty of privacy, the houses are separated by a large private saltwater pool and personal oasis. Diamonds in the Sand is the perfect beach house experience!
*Homes are only rented together as a 7BED/6.5 BATH home.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
We do offer a cancellation policy for our guests based on the booking platform, as follows:
-Cancellation Policy for VRBO: 100% refund 60 days before check-in; no refund after 60 days.
-Cancellation Policy for AirBnB: Guests can cancel at least 60 days before check-in and get a 50% refund of the nightly rate and the cleaning fee, but not the service fee (AirBnB will not refund this). If you cancel less than 60 days in advance, the nights not spent are not refunded.
Each home comes supplied with 1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom, 1 roll of paper towels, 1 dish pod, 1 trash bag per trash can in bathroom and kitchen.
Things to bring: laundry detergent, extra toilet paper and paper towels, shampoo and body wash, extra trash bags, dishwasher detergent pods. Please also make sure to bring your own beach towels and beach equipment (chairs, tents, toys, coolers, umbrellas, etc.). You might also want to bring extra blankets during the cooler months as we do not provide them.
Golf cart is supplied by Destin Beach Rentals. It will be at the home and fully charged prior to your arrival.
Pool Heating available upon request for additional fee of $300 + tax.
Your reservation comes with $650 of property protection insurance to cover any incidentals that may occur during your stay!

Home #1 (Beach Cottage):
While at rest, you can relax in our first home completely renovated in 2016 that now features 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, updated kitchen with all new stainless-steel appliances, and a spacious outdoor shower—always offering a refreshing end to a day at the beach! The interior of our home is beautifully decorated with all new furnishings that lends a cozy, cottage feel. The Master Bedroom is complete with a king memory foam mattress and a new bathroom with double vanities and tub/shower combo. Bedroom #2 is complete with a king memory foam mattress and access to the second bathroom with a brand new beautiful white subway tiled shower. Bedroom #3 is adjoining bedroom #2 and has two twin built in beds with pillow top mattresses and a little reading or play nook for your little ones! This bedroom also utilizes the second bathroom with the shower. The updated kitchen is equipped with brand new stainless steel appliances and beautiful stone counter tops plus a custom built farmhouse dining table with chairs. The beach cottage can sleep up to 8 guests if using the pullout sofa.

Loved the location and that this property had two houses. The grand babies could nap while the adults swam or hung out at the other house. The use of the golf cart was amazing too!!

Diamonds in the Sand was an awesome place for family time. Pool was secluded between the 2 houses. Great privacy and nice area to spread out. Beach was short walk or golf cart ride. Had 17 people (4 families) plenty of room for all. Hosts were very attentive to questions. Would definitely recommend.

This is a beautiful property that was perfect for our extended family. Having the separate cottage house for our families with young children was a bonus so we didn't have to worry about being quiet for naps, etc. Proximity to the beautiful beach was great! A less than 5 minute walk if needed, but we successfully hauled our gear and people in two trips with the golf cart (included with the house!!) and were able to park it every day at the Tarpon access point. The pool located between the homes was very clean and we used it everyday! Most important is the property owner / manager is outstanding. Very responsive and helpful to my questions before and during the trip. We will seek out properties they own in future stays to the Destin area.

We had two separate families. One family consisted of (4) Adults. We stayed in the front (Smaller) house. Second family consisted of (5) adults and (3) children 9, 6, and 2. We all had our individual spaces and both places allowed separation and togetherness. The pool between the two houses was perfect. 2.5 blocks from the ocean and a 6 seater golf cart included with the rental. The owners were very responsive and took care of anything quickly and accurately. Hammock in the back perfect for relaxing. Definitely would rent again. Will also recommend others to this property and others owned by Brie and Aubrey!!!

It is a quick golf cart ride to the beach and many other shops/restaurants. We loved the pool which offered plenty of seating for lounging and very good privacy from neighbors. We stayed at house for my daughters Sweet 16. We had the best time!! The two houses are amazing since we had the older kids and they had their own house. The adults in the other, pleasure!! Our Spring Break trip included five adults and six teenagers, and the double houses provided plenty of space for our group. The pool was a huge hit, and splurging on the pool heater was a must during our early season visit.
The property is in a quiet neighborhood where almost all houses are rentals, though we did not experience any noise or "party" issues. Most neighboring properties were other families, which is the general vibe in Destin and a big plus if you're trying to avoid college spring break vibes.
The front, original house is a charming beach cottage vibe with plenty of updates while retaining the original character. The back, larger house is a great layout for sleeping as many people as possible, with four of our teen boys sharing the bunk room. Having bathrooms for each bedroom was a big plus.
The property was clean upon arrival, the check-in process was smooth, and the owners had great communication up to, during, and after our stay.
The golf cart was a plus, though parking if you're wanting to drive it to the beach can be a challenge. It did allow for some nice evening cruises on the beach road.
We did experience an issue with one of the washers and one of the dryers, but the owners were attentive to get the issues addressed as quickly as they could. Having a set in each house would be excellent in most situations.
We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property to others.

Couldn’t have been happier with our stay. Having the two houses gave us so much more room and allowed members of the group who needed a bit of a break a place to relax in some quiet. There were 16 of us ranging in age from 5-75 and we had the best time. Aubrey is an outstanding host - I don’t think we ever waited more than 3 minutes to get a response to any of our texts. We highly recommend this rental and can’t wait to return!

We stayed here the dreaded first week of April when 40% of the Midwest invades the gulf coast. There were ten of us, six parents and four high school seniors from Michigan.
The location was excellent, close to the beach and restaurants but set back enough from both main drags to be nice and quiet when you wanted it to be. We spent a ton of time using the patio and pool area. Plenty of seating, lots of sun, but also some shady areas when our pale winter skin needed a break.
We put the teenagers in the unit closest to the street, I believe this is called the cottage. More than enough space for them and since the location is so close to the beach (an easy two blocks) they would head off on their own most days.
The parents were in the newer unit, all three couples had a bedroom / en-suite, plenty of space, comfortable furnishings, and a well stocked kitchen. We cooked dinner at the property 3 or 4 times. There’s a really nice Coleman grill on the patio by the pool, we grilled up some fresh fish we caught in the gulf. Delicious!
The hosts were fantastic communicators during check in /out. Perhaps the best compliment you can give a host is that you didn’t have to contact them at all! Everything was great. I have no doubt that if there had been an issue they would have taken care of it immediately.

This was the best stay ever. It worked out for our family to have the added cottage. We used the cottage for the older ones in our group. Everything they needed was all on one level and they were able to retire to the quite when they were ready. We had family from age 8 to the 80’s. The heated pool was also awesome. Diamonds in the sand was perfect for our family of 14. The house is a 5 minute walk to the closest beach access, but you can also take the six person golf cart. Our family loved the outdoor area with enough lounge chairs, a grill and a large pool. If you need anything, Brie is always just a phone call or text away. We really enjoyed our stay at the house and cottage. We had 11 adults and 3 children. I liked how each bedroom had a master bath. The house had everything we needed for cooking. The beach is 2 blocks away. There is lots to do in the area. I would suggest if you stay mid April to make sure you heat the pool. Best decision I made.

Friends Staycation
We stayed here for a staycation with a group of friends and the property did not disappoint. The weather wasn't great over the weekend but it did not stop the kids from spending almost every waking moment in the heated pool. Both properties were extremely clean and better than advertised. We had an internet issue upon arrival (network issues not home equipment issues). Aubrey was a great host and was quick to respond to help navigate through the issues. We all loved our stay and would definitely book this property again!!
