Very quiet, well equipped, clean. Friendly staff and quick reaction when something was needed.
The mattresses in the children bedroom were not so comfortable as the springs can be felt

A lovely and well-appointed little cottage in a fantastic location. The ideal Christmas home from home. The owner was incredibly helpful and left a wonderful welcome hamper and decorated the house for us for Christmas. It couldn't have been more perfect!

This house is AMAZING. The perfect combination of old and contemporary. It was spotlessly clean. There was a lovely welcome hamper. It was extremely comfortable.
The location was perfect and easy to walk into town. The road is quiet with a beautiful imposing church at the end. Because its a dead end, there is little traffic and it is easy for parking. It is staggering distance from two pubs, The Griffin and the Lamb and Fountain. Loved, loved, loved this house. We are considering moving to Frome and would definitely stay in this house again as I'm sure we will be visiting frequently.
The shower and loo are downstairs. While I prefer this to be on the same floor as the bedrooms to do so would mean losing a bedroom and tbh it didn't stop our enjoyment.
It is well stocked but we couldn't find a chopping board.

The property is in a nice quiet location with easy access to the town. It was well equipped, warm and comfortable. The garden area was lovely & our little dog enjoyed it. The welcome pack left by the host was very well received.
Only a small observation ……. a rope handrail on the staircase could be useful for those who find stairs difficult.

No toiletries, only 1 toilet roll, no access to bins or bin liners (was told you buy our own) was watching netflix fine for first couple of days and then was kicked off so we didn't have anything to log into. No stuff to clean the house with (again, was told to buy our own stuff) the kettle wasn't descaled, and when i rang up and brought it all up was told that i had to buy everything myself and that it was advertised as so, even though it wasn't. The only thing that was sorted by the owner was a new kettle. Would never come here again.

Lovely spotlessly clean cottage within a 10 minute stroll to the town centre.
The back garden was secure so it was ideal for our little dog
The host was very friendly and the welcome basket was just WOW, the best we have ever had.
Frome is a lovely little town with lots of places to eat and drink and the independent market the first sunday of the month was fabulous.
The Griffin pub a few minutes walk from the cottage serve the most amazing burgers but would advise to book at the weekend
Also the Royal Bengal Indian take away a couple of minutes drive away is yummy too
The Cheese and Grain in the centre is also worth a visit. We loved it there.
The hills coming out of town.
My husband cannot walk very well so he struggled.
It didn't spoil our time there though

The neighbours woke me swearing outside my window.

location, well equipped, clean, traditional but modern,
no handrail down the stairs, narrow space at sides if double bed made it difficult to get in and out

Very quiet place.nice garden.nice welcome pk
The bed needs to be without foot board because the room to small for it .I had to climb over it every time I went to bed or get up .the easy option is to get a wooden bed stead without the foot board.
