About this apartment rental
Palazzo Le Cupole is is a stately building including 4 apartments, located in the heart of Ostuni's historic center, in a characteristic square overlooked by the city's Cathedral.
The apartment, located on the first floor reachable by a staircase (about 15 steps), opens onto a hallway with a sitting area from which then leads to the rest of the accommodation. The living area consists of a living room with a double sofa bed and an open-plan kitchen with an oven, a kettle and an espresso coffee machine. From here you can access the beautiful private terrace with breathtaking views of the entire city, all the way to the sea. This is the ideal place to enjoy a typical Italian aperitivo. The sleeping area consists of a bedroom with a double bed and an en suite bathroom with shower.
Free wifi, air conditioning and heating with heat pump will be at guests' disposal.
*Due to its location, the apartment is not very suitable for those looking for relaxation... but it's great for nightlife lovers!
The apartment is located in the ZTL (limited traffic zone) area, therefore we suggest leaving the car in one of the nearby parking and enjoying the old town on foot.
*Upon arrival or a few days before arrival it may be required to pay a tourist tax, which varies according to local regulations. You will find your reservation details within the Guest Area of Wonderful Italy.
We also offer to our guests truly authentic experiences to live like a local. If interested, contact us and we will be more than happy to help you out designing an unforgettable holiday to discover Italian beauties.
Ostuni, known to the world as the White City, is the pearl of the Itria Valley. Its blindingly white, immense historic center culminates in the Cathedral (600 meters from the apartment) that soars over the plain of olive trees, the coastal dune park and a crystal-clear sea. Characteristic are its narrow streets, the Piazza della Libertà (5 minutes away) and the column of St. Oronzo that majestically protects the town.
Its countryside stretches into the heart of the Itria Valley. A few kilometers away is Ceglie Messapica, a center of tradition and enogastronomy; Cisternino, a village recognized as one of the most beautiful in Italy; and Alberobello, whose famous trulli have been a world heritage site since 1996. About 30 km to the north we find the Archaeological Park of Egnatia, Monopoli and Polignano a Mare, ancient fishing villages with a charming historic center and beautiful beaches. To the north (80 km) we find Bari, the gateway to the East, while proceeding south we first encounter the Torre Guaceto nature reserve, then Brindisi to reach Lecce, the capital of Baroque. Moving westward there is Taranto, heart of Magna Graecia, and finally to Matera, characteristic for its sassi and European Capital of Culture 2019.
Brindisi (30 minutes) and Bari (60 minutes) are the closest airports to Ostuni.
