About this house rental

This listing is for an entire duplex! You will have both apartments, upstairs (Blue Oasis) and downstairs (Peach Pad). Each unit is 2 (king) bedrooms and 1 bath so you will have 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms available to you during your stay. Each floor sleeps 6 with a pull-out queen size sofa in the dining room that can be closed off for additional privacy. Both units have brand new kitchens with in-unit laundry and 4 total off-street parking spots . Firepit & patio in the backyard for relaxing!

This is a 2-story brick duplex, 1,200sf per floor. The upstairs apartment is called the Blue Oasis and the downstairs apartment is the Peach Pad. Each unit has 2 king-size bedrooms and 1 bath so you will have 4 king-size bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The dining room in each apartment can be closed off and the banquette sofa in each has a pull-out queen sized sofa, so this entire property can sleep up to 12 comfortably. Each unit has a brand new kitchen with quartz counter tops, white shaker cabinets and stainless steel appliances. There is also in-unit laundry in each apartment and office space. The upstairs apartment has a screened in porch with additional dining space. The downstairs apartment has a covered front porch and the backyard has been completely redone to include 5 off-street parking spaces, a brick paved patio with a picnic table and fire pit. Street parking is free and the house is super close to USC, Fort Jackson, Downtown Columbia and much much more!

You will have access to everything - both apartments, both front and back yards, all of the parking in the rear and the back yard amenities are exclusively for your used during your stay. You must go outside the back or front in order to access the other apartment, they are not joined in any way internally.

We live about 15 minutes away from the apartment and are accessible by the Airbnb app, phone or text during your stay.

This is a brand new listing to Airbnb and the neighborhood is situated close to USC (3 mins), Fort Jackson (10-15 mins), Williams Brice Stadium (6 mins), Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center (11 mins) and 5 Points (5 mins). You will see tons of walkers, joggers and cyclists in this neighborhood so feel free to lace up those sneaks and take a run or a leisurely stroll. This neighborhood is extremely quiet - except when there is college football on (you may hear a few cheers as we did when USC football beat Georgia a couple of weeks ago). Devine Street and Rosewood Drive restaurants, shopping and entertainment are extremely close to the apartment and there are many walkable options as well. Walgreens, CVS and Publix are located nearby, along with Whole Foods, EarthFare, Bi-Lo and Food Lion.

Uber and Lyft are the best options for getting around without your vehicle. Otherwise, there are options for groceries and dining within walking distance to the house.

This is an entire duplex listing - you will have both apartments (first floor & second floor). You can not go from apartment to apartment inside, you must go out the front or back doors in order to access the other space.

This is a 1940s apartment and the front and back staircases are a little steep - please take great care when going up and down.

This was perfect for my extended family to stay. We took both floors and housed 8 adult family members comfortably. It was less than 15 minutes to Ft. Jackson. The host communication was great.

Great rental. Need warning in listing regarding stairs to upstairs apartment, and TVs added to bedrooms. A little musty, but aired out quickly. Loved the area!

My family were visiting for my daughter’s graduation from USC. It was very nice to have the older family members stay downstairs with all the amenities that my husband and kids had upstairs. Beds were very comfortable and anything you needed they provided, very well stocked kitchen. The only thing I would change if I could would be a hand rail on at least on of the sets of outside steps. I would definitely go back.

Property was clean and well-equipped. Property management was very responsive. Neighborhood super safe feeling. House very, very old but clean. Beware of strange gas smell coming from heater in the upstairs unit. Host provided documentation from Nov. 2022 inspection that stated no gas leak, but it still made us very uneasy and uncomfortable. Also, make sure you absolutely read the fine print. We left my toddler’s two coats there and Apparently, there was a statement that says a $25 fee will apply to have anything mailed back that was left behind, in addition to the shipping costs. We found that fee to be pretty steep.
