The host was waiting for us to hand over keys and show us around. We arrived late at 9:30 pm and had informed earlier about the late arrival and host was very accommodative and helpful. We were given complimentary bottle of wine and fresh eggs from the farm on our arrival. The cottage itself was very nice with excellent decor and useful/appropriate amenities and facilities. We also met the owner and other members of the host's family and they were all very friendly and hospitable! Thank You.
Nothing to report; everything was perfect!

Large, clean property. Near a main road but no problem with traffic noise. Beautiful views. Ideal for walkers. There's a great Forest Park 5 mins drive away with red kite feeding everyday.
I had to phone for directions as it wasn't easy to see on Google maps where the property was, but Dom answered the phone straightway and gave us precise instructions. Dom said she was going the put the what3words location on the listing.

The hosts met us at the property and were very friendly and couldn’t do enough to make our stay great! They left us wine and chocolates for our anniversary, and went to extra effort to make it special for us. We were also given fresh duck eggs!
The property was very clean and as described, a little house, it had all the items needed in the kitchen, plus a few more. (Coffee machine, air fryer, toastie maker, etc.)
The property is in an isolated area in the Welsh hills, which is clearly described in the information, so we took the food/drink etc we needed.
The views are beautiful from the house, and if you like walking, cycling, hiking there’s plenty to do nearby.
Nothing. Thank you for our stay!

The location was nice . But did expect it to be more peaceful than it was . It didnt say in the rite up there were ducks very close . And that someone would be letting them out early morning.
The bed was very uncomfortable

Host there waiting, ready to show us around

Lovely peaceful location, comfy cottage. I was travelling alone & felt very safe despite remote location, with owner next door.
Fresh duck eggs & snacks left for me.
Owner kindly let me charge my electric car.
Would be nice to have a blind in the bathroom.

Ty Twt was on a room only basis but they supplied lovely coffee, milk and biscuits. The little house is nestled in the mountains, just down the road from a Red Kite feeding centre. (Nant yr arian 3pm). The property is very comfortable, bed and pillows excellent. There is everything you need for self catering. Highly recommend. Bruce was a perfect host, even providing us with a large fan when the outdoor temperature hit 35c! The views are stunning.
Nothing. We thought it deserves 5 stars. (out of 5)

Was in a lovely location, host friendly and nothing to much trouble, had a bottle of wine and some duck eggs left for us
Waiting on arrival for a while for someone to come with a key, as couldn't find anyone. Would be nice if key was left somewhere like a security box.

Fabulous stay. Have booked again

lovely little place to stay in such a remote area with exceptional views! The owner was lovely and happy to help with anything we needed. it was lovely and clean, comfortable bed and sofas and equipped with everything we could need for a couple of days. any shops are a good 15-20 min drive away so perfect for a nice quiet weekend.
only thing I didn’t like was no tv in the bedroom but I understand signal is not the best in the area and would in turn be pointless. just a personal preference as I struggle to sleep in silence.

The view from bedroom window.
No signage outside of property ,difficult to find.No heating on arrival. Freezing cold.No standard TV channels, not stated in advert. Barking dogs next to property. No mattress or pillow protector. Old bobbly duvet cover.Hair on pillows, and bad smell. No gas in calor gas heater on arrival.General uncleanness, stained worktops. Sticky tiled floor. No welcome pack/instructions or Covid protocols. Bathroom window vent blocked up with loo roll. When host eventually turned up after 2 hours, found her curt & unapologetic about the lack of heating. Host grandson walking past window to feed chickens, no privacy. View from living room window of 2 dilapidated old boats and a run down cafe, not shown on website. Broken handle on bathroom door. Extremely filthy windows, in & out. Overpriced for what it was, we nearly walked out,but had nowhere else to go.

See above.
The downstairs area needs rearranging kitchen should be where the couches are or make this a dining area and use the large empty space for a seating area with a decent sized TV
This is a true and honest opinion of our visit to the establishment. Firstly this is NOT an apartment. This is an Annex which looks like it was converted from a garage. Why we say this? The photos we took will show our opinion on this. We did not stay, we left on the same day. We arrived and was pleasantly met by Dominique who is polite and very friendly. We choose this establishment hoping to experience the welsh hospitality and walk the beautiful hills. Unfortunately this was not to be. This place feels unwelcoming and cold and I don’t mean cold as I’m cold but bland and such a large space which is empty apart from a small table and 2 couches crammed in the corner. The place has central heating but we were shown how to use a calor gas heater. The bedroom as you can see does not offer much and why a mirror should be stuck in the darkest part of room if you can call it a room as it still feel like a roof conversion. The main windows/patio door do not offer and curtains or blinds, so I can imagine at night when the lights are on you will have no privacy. We we told this is due to COVID. Like stores do when you try on clothes, you only have to give 48hrs to class them as COVID free. We were shown our patio area which over looks beautiful hills if you can take your eyes away from the discarded boats in the other side. Whilst we sat in the patio, Dominiques son approached and threw raw chicken over the face which we were kind of shocked by. Apparently we found out later this is to feed the red kites, I’m sure they could do this somewhere else, not where guests sit. The photos that or in the advertisement do not truly reflect this place. My photos do! You are in the owners backyard and it feels uncomfortable. I guess they are still doing work as you can see but a bit of an eye sore. I guess this is okay for someone just wanting a bed and nothing else.

Dominique was friendly and welcoming. The cottage was beautiful, well decorated and furnished. Lovely views. Nice to wake up to sheep in the fields. We would highly recommend and well definitely be back.

Lovely host friendly clean excellent value and quiet

the property wa well furnished and comfortable. the owner was happy to talk and give us ideas about the local area
a description of the exact location of the property available before arrival would be very useful as the postcode covers a large area.
Some leaflets covering local attractions would have been good.
a few more items of kitchenware such as baking trays would be good
4.3
Great location ,lovely host so helpful and friendly and accommodation was fantastic
It was very clean and I had a great nights sleep ,bed was so comfortable and loved waking up to the beautiful surrounding countryside views
Would have liked a breakfast but took food so was happy to sit out on the little terrrace and eat overlooking the stunning views
4.3
Well kept little cottage in a quite area.
The area looks a bit shabby, some scrap cars and boats on next door property in full view. The owner’s dogs are very dangerous and if they should accidentally get out of their home visitors will be at risk, we did not feel comfortable. Recommended to the owner that a small fence be erected around the cottage with a separate entrance for guests.
4.3
Self contained property, easy to contact the host, easy arrival and departure arrangements, great views and great to get to places with our car
Lovely little outdoor space with a mountain view
There was heating, however unsure about using a gas heater in the living room as were unsure about using this indoors (or if it was meant for the patio). (There was central heating)
4.3
A warm welcome from the host. Accommodation very clean and comfortable. Lovely to see lambs through the kitchen window and red kites flying around the area.
4.3
Our host was very helpful and chatty.
