This luxurious beach vacation home is rich with architecture in its exterior design and flow. The interior styling, design, and layout is very open and airy, and it makes visiting and entertaining with a large group incredibly easy and enjoyable with all of the open space and plentiful daylight streaming in. This gracious home rests upon a private estate sized lot with beautiful resort-like landscaping. This includes lush and mature palm trees and other seasonal flowers. This well-appointed vacation home has a Beautiful Salt Water Pool with a large adjacent deck area, which gives our guests the option to recreate right here in relaxed luxury. Included are up to 6 boat slips (2 davits) that are reservable at no cost upon booking. You will have at minium 2 slips at anytime and up to 6 as availability permits. Leave the cars in the driveway because you can take the water taxi from your private dock across to the Harborwalk Village and enjoy the freshest seafood, fun local bars, gourmet style southern food trucks, rock climbing, zip lines, world famous AJ's Oyster House and endless entertainment for children and adults alike!
This homes is newly designed with 3 split level living options. That means 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms per section, privatized from the other areas (2 King Rooms and 1 Bunk room per section). 3 full gourmet chefs kitchens, 3 living rooms, 3 full sized laundry rooms and extra drink cooler and industrial ice machines are located throughout. Over all we had a great time. When I arrived I made sure to take pictures of outside conditions of the home as the backyard was not cleaned at all. Chairs scattered everywhere and poop on couches. They did come right away to clean poop off and blow away some dirt but felt it should have been tiptop shape especially for the price we paid to stay there. One of the room tubs had black stuff in the jets and hair on shower walls. Over all it was a great home though and nicely decorated. Beach was not far at all. We left tons of toys and a tent for the next family to enjoy!

We love to travel a lot to Destin and spend the weekend with family, especially during summer season, since we are 2 hours away. This house is advertised wrong as an mansion and look luxury , BUT IS NOT A LUXURY O MANSION HOME , the online photos are spectacular and descriptions OMG Excellent but unfortunately NOT ACCURATE AT ALL ! …
This house is for a large group of 30 people, unfortunately we didn’t read well that they accept up to 30 people, so it’s worth money for a large group. But we were two families of 7 adults 4 children, so we always look for a comfortable home that has enough bedrooms, that way we have plenty of space and feeling like a home.
THE HOUSE WAS SEMI CLEAN, we found a dirty trash can downstair with liquid apparently sauce, dirty floor, terrible smell , all the rooms upstairs they really need to change their carpet, I don’t recommend this place for any Kids , we take our kids and they got sick due grand amount of dust. ALSO, we found dead roaches laying around. The bed linens did seem clean enough and towels were plentiful. The kitchen is not well equipped. Part of the family departured right the next Day and the other the following day, we were so upset, and we mention to the manager about the cleaning, and she said that I should report it at the check in, nobody want to let any people in the house while you there it, this is so uncomfortable. Any house needs to be ready at the moment of you enter.

We had 5 families with 22 total people. Everyone had room to hang out & each person had their own bed! Wonderful house just steps away from the beach!

The Nest was well worth it for a short weekend getaway with family. Comfortable accommodations for all to get the rest needed after staying up late. The fire pit, boat dock, pool, lanai furniture, etc...was fantastic. May have to do this again in warmer weather conditions. Great place.

The online photos are beautiful and the descriptions excellent….but unfortunately not accurate. 1 hr before arriving we are told there are no trailers of any kind allowed in driveway. We have a very small speciality trailer which was filled with supplies for a week’s stay with 23 family members. We drove 2000 miles for this reunion.
The property was surface semi clean. There were dead and living cockroaches (Palmetto Bugs as we were told). We killed them on counters, on floors and just about everywhere. The downstairs kitchen counter was so sticky we had to cover it to prep food. Was told it is always like this. The property manager did send a cleaning crew when I let him know about the dirty floors and dead roaches laying around. The bed linens did seem clean enough and towels were plentiful. The day before we were to use the grill we uncovered it and found there was no propane bottle. The prop manager insisted it was there and he had checked it himself. I sent photos. He kept insisting it had been there as if we had stolen it. Several hours later he brought out 2 bottles and left them on patio. While we enjoyed the fun with our family, all were less than pleased with the property. The photos on line and descriptions are deceiving. There is no mention that the upstairs is only accessible by outside stairs and no way to connect with the group unless going outside and down the stairs. After check out the prop manager texted and said we had left pillows and also that there was a missing griddle top from the stove top upstairs. Well, it was never there but my son found it on top of the downstairs refrigerator the day before we left. It felt like we were again being accused of taking something. So I suppose this review will not be published but hopefully management will take care of these issues. We were told several times that the property would get a deep clean during off season…well great but what about us?

Can't say enough great things about this property and the company that manages it.
Before I checked in, Daniel (our maintenance/info man) was extremely easy to communicate with, and flexible with those in our group who had early flights.
The house itself was amazing. I thought it looked great from the pictures when I booked, but it was 10 times cooler in person. The house is right on the water, has a massive outdoor area with pool and grilling area, 3 kitchens, and enough bed space for everyone in our 21 person group to sleep comfortably.
If you've never been to Destin (which most of us had not), it's a short drive, water taxi, or Uber away from the boardwalk, which is where we spent most nights.
We hadn't even checked out yet and we were already talking about how we have to come back and do the trip again. Don't hesitate to book this one!

Great location near beach and easy water taxi to boardwalk. Clean and property management was kind and helpful. Bathrooms are a bit outdated but clean. Property is broken into three different units which provided our group privacy when needed. We will rent again.

We absolutely loved our stay at this location accommodations were perfect the pool and the outdoor area was amazing met all of her expectations the only thing that I would change is that there would be possibly a toilet by the outdoor shower and maybe change the handles on the sliding doors as you’re coming in from outside.

We had three families & the house was perfect. Lots of space. The covered patio was great. Plenty of outdoor seating & the pool was big & clean! The beds were comfortable & the ice machine was a great perk. The location is great. Short walk to the private beach access & the dock allowed us to use the water taxi. Communication with the maintenance crew was excellent.

Perfect location.
There was 9 of us in total and the house met every single one of our needs. It could easily hold more people. The boat dock was amazing because we were able to rent a boat for our stay and in just a quick ride we were able to be at Crab Island. The house was also equipped with an icemaker which was a game changer. Will be renting again.

The best weekend!
My friends and I got together as a reunion for a long weekend here. The house was absolutely beautiful! It is so spacious with a great outdoor area for everyone to gather. This house would also be great for a few families to vacation together, as each family could have their own area. This was really the best vacation!

Navigation to Peace
This was one of the most peaceful rentals ever rented. The house in itself had more than enough room for everybody in my group to sleep and gather. The view was great. It felt like we were out on an island alone as the neighbors were super quiet. This place is perfect for gatherings of any kind. I definitely recommend it!
Communication with the property management was transparent and straight to the point! It was easy to get in contact and get any issue taken care of if there were to be any. The management was great!

Pleasantly Surprised
The online photos of this house looked amazing, but filtered and the reviews about being split into multiple areas left questions. While arriving we didn’t know what to expect. The neighborhood looked nice, but the front of the house lacked a little with curb appeal. Once we walked around back…….Wow! This house didn’t need front curb appeal! The back of the property was beautiful and the layout of the 3 separate living areas was amazing. This decor in this home and attention to detail is unmatched in any rental I have stayed in thus far. I highly recommend this home for any large group of people looking to have a blast!

The Perfect Location
We enjoyed staying on the bay side because it offered the ability to use the dock for water taxi's to and from the boardwalk area, as well as rented pontoon boats. The home was sectioned which allowed for everyone to be comfortable in their area or join one another in the common area. We enjoyed the pool very much, nothing like an early morning swim or evening night watching the bay next to the blue lit pool.
We were only able to visit the beach one day, but it was a quick 3-5 minute walk from the house and we were met with a beautiful beach, not crowded, with plenty of space to relax and feel the seclusion from the hustle of large public areas.
I can't think of one complaint for this property and the manager was very easy to speak with. He provided details and assistance at any time.

Awesome house
This house was way more than I could have excepted!! It was so roomy with plenty of bathrooms for all 15 people we had staying there. The kitchens were well stocked which was a plus since we cooked multiple meals during our 3 day stay. The pool was even bigger than I pictured. Overall 5/5 for us!!!

We Loved this Property!!! The location was perfect!!! The interior and back area were gorgeous!!! Front, curb appeal could use a boost! It was well equipped and the perfect size for our family! We will definitely be back!!!

Beach and inlet in single property
Really liked the convenience of being able to go to beach or fish off dock out back.
Pool and deck area out back was awesome. Didn't know that house was actually 3 separate living areas before arriving but it worked out fine for my family and guests

Perfect for a large family!
Beautiful location with plenty of space for a large group. The house was very clean and stocked with everything we needed for 25 people. The harbor was beautiful and a great option for a week with rough waters. A couple things we learned or that made our stay easier:
*The house really is three separate living spaces. The upstairs living areas are not connected with interior doors, but there is easy access from the deck. This separate areas were great for when you needed some down time.
*The downstairs area is large with a pool table and darts.
*The pirate room was so cool even the adults wanted to stay in the room.
*There is a good supply of beach “stuff” (chairs, wagons, etc.) on the property.
*The pool area and outside seating were perfect for pool days, corn hole, and cookouts
*The dock allowed for the kids to fish and launch kayaks and paddle boards. I highly recommend renting kayaks as there is a sand bar in the middle of the harbor that is almost like a mini-crab island. Get sand shoes though! We spent a day out there and it was so fun.
*The walk to the beach is short but if you are dragging a bunch of stuff, I would recommend getting a golf cart. We got a 6-seater and it saved our backs.
*Check-in process was smooth and the communication from the property manager was through text throughout the week. Very accessible.
*Take the water taxi — such a fun experience and a great way to avoid traffic.
We will definitely consider this property again!

Met all expectations,will book this for every reunion. Only downfall was AC went out in both units upstairs,had to call 2 days in a row to get fixed. Should have repaired properly the first day!

Best place I’ve ever stayed
Wow! Navigators Nest is the absolute best place I have ever stayed while on vacation. My friends and family were in awe of the cleanliness, amenities and overall layout of the mansion. Everyone was able to have exactly what they needed through the thoughtful touches of the owner and the organized care of the property managers. We will certainly be back with our group and can’t wait to stay at Navigator’s Nest the next time we are in Destin. 10/10!!

Perfect place! Will book again in the future!
It was an amazing property and experience. Very clean place and well kept up. It was a perfect place for the reason I rented it. Great location, near all the good bars in my opinion. The boat slips worked perfect. Will keep this house in mind for any future vacations.

Spring Break 2021
The property was exactly what we were looking for. The place was extremely clean and the management team was very responsive to the few questions we had. The heated pool was a blast for the kids and the outside area had plenty of room for the adults to spread out and enjoy the sun or shade. The three living units act like their own apartments giving people space when needed. The beach access is private and a quick walk from the house. The boat dock was so convenient as well. We will definitively be back.

A secluded gem with everything you need in Destin
We needed a place that had everything for three families so we could get away but more importantly, stay healthy during the pandemic. We arrived on Saturday the 26th at 4pm. They sent a text with the code for the keypad. Within an hour, they reached out to ensure the home was as expected and followed that up with a text with Daniel’s contact info in the event we needed anything or had any issues. We never had to reach out, this home was perfection! The home is actually 3 separate homes. They are all magnificently decorated and impeccably clean. This was absolutely perfect for my parents, my sisters family, and my family. Everyone’s living quarters had one master suite, one full size bedroom, one bunk bed room, kitchen, living room, dining area, laundry room and a guest bathroom. They had huge TVs, fully stocked kitchens, THE MOST COMFORTABLE beds, and everything you would ever need. Everyone would congregate in the down stairs home which had a vast open floor plan with a pool table and darts. It also had a room decorated like the hull of a pirate ship, named Pirates Cove, which even made the adults want to sleep in it. It had an air hockey table, treasure chest, and gymnastics mats. The outdoor space was the best part. The back yard had quite a long shore line on the bay side which included 6 boat landings and a long dock. All week long we fished of the deck catching sun fish, sea bass, a grunt, and even threw a cast net in and caught 10+ mullets. The home has a great seating area around a propane fire place, a long deck on the second floor to watch the birds or boats coming or leaving. The down stairs has a massive seating area to eat at after cooking on the grill. We played corn hole under the covered deck if it rained or near the pool if it was sunny. The only negative was the pool was not heated. Bummer, but there were a few bets lost causing a couple of us to get into the pool. We rented a golf cart which is dropped off at the house and picked up when you leave. We walked to the private beach access and strolled for miles in the morning, noon, and night. We have been to a lot of beaches and this one is the cleanest with the emerald colored water and the white sandy beach. Holiday Isle has one way in and one way out so it was a very safe place to let the older kids roam. I would definitely recommend this place for multi family gatherings where you can give each family space to breath. This home is worth every penny. We can’t wait to return!

Perfect Getaway
We loved Navigator’s Nest. There was so much space inside and out. The pool area with the bay views can not be beat, and the Pirate’s bunk room is awesome! Working with Ellen before arrival and Daniel during our stay was a joy and all questions were immediately addressed. The only thing that could have made the stay better was a heated pool, which it sounds like might be an addition to the house in the future! Thank you for the wonderful week and we would definitely stay here again.

Really great and enjoyable
Really loved our stay with our family and friends.
I gave your information to friends that are looking for a place to rent. It was beautiful and clean!!!! So easy to check in and out.
I will say I wish there were fans on the back deck and more lights in the outside seating area and the staircase (had some people trip a few times).
Other than that I’d say this place is a must stay!

It was great! But not perfect.
We arrived for our vacation to having the water for the entire house shut off at the lock box. The maintenance guy came and did something to be able to turn it back on until the owner could figure out the issue with the credit card on file for the water company. This was quickly followed by a huge water leak under the floor in the main kitchen from the ice machine (was repaired the following day). Had to have towels and two box fans running to try to help dry the floor, cabinets, and wall for two days.
One of the boat slips is currently being rented to a pontoon boat owner (Ben) who is a nice enough guy but comes and goes through the backyard as he pleases. Some of the small appliances didn’t work (coffee maker on the first floor, one of the hair dryers on the west side).
Overall, the house was nice. But for the price we paid, we all expected a lot more.
