About this villa rental
This beautiful >2500 square foot home, originally built in 1938 and completely remodeled in 2020 restores the charm of years gone by while providing all of the modern comforts.
The main level has stunning dark hardwood floors throughout and boasts an expansive master bedroom, large second bedroom and luxurious full bathroom with antique-style tile floors.
The living room/dining room is large and elegant, enabling you to entertain family and friends. The charming kitchen meets the challenge of both form and function, containing everything you need for cooking meals during your stay, including a double oven, oversized fridge/freezer and a breakfast table for 4.
The lower level has two additional bedrooms, a second mini-kitchen and the second luxury full bathroom.
We have pulled all of the stops for your downtime in the home. A 55" Panasonic Smart TV is loaded with Netflix, Prime Video, Hulu, ESPN+ and Disney+. In the private back yard, you and your family can relax under the canopy and enjoy the fresh air, immaculate landscaping and North End neighborhood charm.
All of the bedding is high thread count and is selected for maximum comfort. Upstairs, the master bedroom has a king bed and bedroom two upstairs has a queen bed. Downstairs, bedroom three has a queen futon and a queen bed. Bedroom 4 has two twin beds. Since we know that everyone's idea of a comfortable bed is different, we have intentionally provided beds of varying softness or firmness throughout the home so you and your party can each find the perfect bed for the perfect's night sleep.
The home was designed for function all as one or can essentially be two separate homes. The downstairs, with its own thermostat zone and mini-kitchen, can be securely locked off from the upstairs or left open as one large home. This configuration enables 2 distinct families or groups to maximize privacy and yet remain in one location.

Amazing vintage home in the great north end of Boise. It was the perfect home for our 2 families to share. It was close enough to walk to Hyde Park and easily accessible to downtown by car. We also cooked 2 family style dinners in the kitchen and had memorable nights eating and playing the provided games. Would HIGHLY recommend and not hesitate to stay there again.

Location is good, and house was clean and beds were mostly comfy. Check-in process was super easy. Stove is an interesting relic, took a few tries to figure out how to make it work, but managed to cook a few good meals. Would be nice if there were sharp knives and better non-stick cookware but that’s to be expected. Otherwise kitchen was quite functional. Overall a good experience.

We spent the weekend in Boise for a car show we were participating in. The bottom floor was great for our son and his two children and we had the upstairs for the two of us. The neighborhood was quiet and beautiful and the home was clean and very welcoming. We will definitely come back to this beautiful home.

Loved staying at this North End Villa to visit family in Boise. We walked all over Hyde Park, the North End, and downtown. Convenient location near everything--very quiet, clean, and well-appointed to be a home away from home. Plenty of room for our family of four (including two sprawled out college teens!)

It matched the presentation in the rental documents, and was generally perfect for our adult children and grand-children, all of whom dropped in at some point for a brief time to attend a wedding. There was an extra daily charge for our other family members who stayed, despite the fact we were under the capacity of the rental, so do review this carefully when renting.

Great location
The house was so clean and comfortable and updated/ remodeled with beautiful decor. The neighborhood was awesome! Close to beautiful downtown Boise, Camelback park and The Hyde neighborhood with great restaurants. We spent two afternoons very nearby at the Esther Simplot park and lakes paddle boarding and swimming!

Was nice few things could have made it better
House was in a great location. Very nice home but could use a few things fixed and make sure if you can you BYOP (bring your own pillows) the few issues we had were attended to very quickly by the property manager. Overall a good rental for sure and I would suggest it to others.

The queen size bed downstairs has a slump in the middle. We were not happy when the toilet paper was gone there were only four of us and we were gone during the days. There needs to be more dish towels. It would’ve been nice to know about the dishwasher not working ahead of time. It was nice to have someone to talk to you when we needed help figuring out the television. We liked the location. We were surprised that the check out time was 10:00 AM. Especially when we could not check in until four, which was too late! We felt that the check in time should’ve been no later than 2 o’clock, and if it had been cleaned, we should have been able to check out by 12. We enjoyed being able to watch TV in the evenings. We did not do any cooking at the house, we ate all of our meals out. I rarely look at my emails. I would have liked communication by text, instead of email, I rarely look at email. All of the fees associated with the rent were surprising. When the price is advertised, per night, it should include all taxes and fees. The note of welcoming and the Idaho spud was a nice touch.

Perfect House for an unexpected trip
Villa Cottage was perfect for our family in an unexpected time of need. The size and format of the house was just what we needed for this trip. Other family staying close by, were able to join us to discuss pertinent family matters, enjoy a family meal together, and we never once felt crowded. When we need to return to Boise, this will be our number one choice.

Great comfortable and well arranged home. Perfect for our needs. The only hard part was I was not able to enjoy the patio in the back as there were bees but that is because the flowers were in bloom and very pretty so not a negative just a fact of life for me. The flowers were pretty to look at from the kitchen window. We will return for sure. This was the best set up for our family needs

Perfect Place for family gathering
12 adult family members from out of town stayed in the north end villa. Walking distance to a lot. 2 great outdoor spaces to enjoy the beautiful weather or enjoy quiet time on the back porch. Spacious living room area for all to gather upstairs. Elderly mom in a wheel chair had to be lifted up stairs and helped getting through the narrow bathroom door, but that was the only negative and likely is mentioned in the information. My family loved it.

Great character home! Great location!
We were on an 11 day vacation to ID and stayed here for 4 days while in Boise. We had a total of 8 people from kids to grandparents. This fit us perfectly where we had both common areas and separate areas to hang out in. We utilized the outdoor patio space as well.
This was a great location in town. We were able to walk to a nearby brewery as well as ride bikes further into downtown and the greenbelt.
Everything was very clean. Well stocked kitchen too. I would highly recommend this property.
