Property location couldn’t have been better. Unit clean but could benefit from updating and touching up paint to look crisper. Porches both needed to be cleaned better and had been painted and decor just left on the ground in upper porch. Missing some essentials in kitchen like a dponge or cle

This was the perfect place for a true lakeside vacation.

Property was beautiful and looked exactly like how I was expecting. A few cobwebs and dust on the back porch but was perfect overall.

Enjoyed our stay again. The views are perfect especially for watching the fireworks. Very peaceful part of the lake. The sunsets never get old. The renovations look great.

Views of Lake Chatuge were gorgeous. Otherwise poor to bad.overall review. Spiders by the hundreds on the stairs and doorway . Lots of spider webs. Neither of the porches had been swept in a long time, also spider webs, debris, leaves, etc. Wasps and wasp nests in porches. Not pleasant. Lighting fixtures in bedroom not working. Old furniture, disjointed unmatching furniture. two rockers in disrepair, old, musty towels. Step ladder with fan on it in bedroom. No place to put groceries in kitchen area as pantry door was locked. Screen door the in lower porch wouldn’t close. Musty in one of bedrooms. Socks found in living room, property really had not been cleaned prior to our arrival. Also lack of communication with leasing office on day of arrival as calls went unanswered. Really disappointing stay.

Our rating Over all is a 3. ill explain.. pro's: it was a great family weekend, the lake views were beautiful, we enjoyed fishing, kayaking , grilling out. it was quiet, relaxing & exactly what we needed!
However, CONS :It was DRASTICALLY smaller than expected and very dusty! Mattresses are hard as bricks, bed frame too big for mattress size & broken in one room caused bruised shins and cussing when the piece fell & cracked my toe twice! It has a nice but VERY COLD jack and jill bathroom downstairs & the upstairs Plumbing is horribly loud

Had an enjoyable stay .Did a little fishing and enjoyed being on the water and the back deck.

We enjoyed our stay. We were able to oversee the lake and go fishing. There were some concerns of the balcony areas top and bottom were full of spider webs and needs to be sprayed and cleaned. Also after being in the cabin observed food (French fries) under living room couch and areas need dusting. Also, I think management needs to check behind the employees hired to clean their cabins, as there were no kitchen cloths to was dishes with and dish detergent and dishwasher soap was low and laundry soap was low as well.Otherwise, the stay was great and will be staying again in the future as long as the mention concerns are addressed.

The property was not easy for 2 old people. There were stairs every where. Going to our bedrooms and going into the house. If we had only known we would not have stayed there. The place next door to us had a deck with a flat Walkway. Oh well. We would have been happier. The house itself was very nice though.

Place was okay - badly in need of update. Limited kitchen supplies. Filthy shower curtain. Spider webs everywhere.

Condo is in a great location, very convenient to grocery store and centralized to the three golf courses that I chose to play. It was disappointing that each condo only has one parking space, but luckily there was overflow area open. Downstairs bathroom needs to be remodeled or, the tub needs to be cleaned and/or re-caulked. A lot of mildew/mold. Shower drain did not work properly or fast enough, but if you turn the shower off it drains immediately. Most VRBO‘s I’ve stayed in and have had some sort of soap or shampoo available, there was nothing to use for anyone to shower. Disappointing. I read in the listing that there was a gas grill, but I never saw one. The views and location are amazing. Unfortunately, there was a power outage at 8:45 am before checkout so we were unable to run the dishwasher or adjust the thermostat.

Should really rethink property management ...horrible smell, mattresses hard as rocks, spider webs in living room, downstairs toilet handle extremely hard to push... but views are great. I've been using vrbo for 6 years never gave a bad review hopefully these issues will be resolved. CJ

I came for one main reason: to take astral photos of the Milky Way, nebulas, constellations, stars, and planets over Lake Chatuge. It was perfect! The rental unit was also a comfy setting to rest between my photo sessions.
I loved the place. The fireplace was superb. The furniture was in great shape and comfortable. The view of the lake was spectacular. Ingles Supermarket and a variety of restaurants were close at hand. It was a fabulous experience and I hope yo repeat it soon.

This is a perfect place for the young at heart. Unfortunately, we are not. The photos show ramps going up to the back of the condos for easy access. Our VRBO was the only condo with steep stairs, very steep stairs. The lockbox did not work and the key was by the doormat. Once inside we found that the bedrooms were downstairs, very steep and narrow interior stairs. We called Tiffany right away needing help with the TV remote. Left a message and never heard from her. The 2 king beds were terrible and need replacing. One creaked and squeaked when any one turned over. The other one sank in the middle. We figured the TV remote problem by replacing all the batteries. The view was gorgeous...So if you are young this place is for you. If you are old fogeys with health issues go elsewhere.

The property is older but kept clean. Perfect location by the lake. We enjoyed our stay

Location and view with lake access was a plus
The condo did not accommodate 6 as advertised. The pull out sofa springs were broken and not attached and missing making it impossible to sleep on as a bed. We had to drive to the next county to purchase an inflatable mattress.

Girl weekend-attended a wedding in the area
Great property for our group of four ladies to kick back and relax prior to attending a wedding nearby.

Great location
Poor lighting in bottom half of condo. Some things out dated and could use upgrades. I recommended to property manager, she was very nice and accommodating.
2.0 / 10.0
This place has an amazing 180 degree view. This is hands down what you are paying for. This is a small townhome complex that is very old and dated. Most everything in the unit is probably the original, although they did replace the carpet several years ago.
The location is about 2 blocks from Ingles, so that's a wonderful convenience. The kitchen is tiny and I wasn't inspired to make a meal there other than breakfast and lunch. The bedding on the two beds is ancient. My two teen boys slept in one room which they complained they were hot, while our room was very cold.
When we were in the house we tried to stay on the back porch where the view was. Unfortunately, the porch furniture is not at all comfortable. There is NO WiFi. We called the property managers several times on this to try and get it to work. We called the number that was provided to Windstream, only to learn either the account was closed or not paid.
We booked this place for 3 nights but only stayed two because we all had terrible bed bug bites!

A Teardown with Great View
I'm giving this old condo 2 stars for it's view. The view is a 10 and the location is very convenient being it's smack in Hiawassee. The price of the condo is in line with other properties that are much nicer but without an amazing view. The owner has done nothing to make improvements to this very old place (although the carpet is in decent newer and in decent shape). The bedding is ancient and our family of four all experienced bed bug bites.
There is no WiFi! We tried several times to reset the router and made multiple calls to the property managers. We were told to call the service provider, Windstream, to try and get it resolved only to find out they had no account for our unit.
I did not attempt to cook a meal in the kitchen as the space was very small and not too inviting. When we were there, we tried to spend most of our time on the back porch so we could soak in the view. Unfortunately the furniture out there is very uncomfortable.
We booked this place for 3 nights, but only stayed 2.

Great corner property
This was a great location for our family. Amazing views of the lake, lots of wild life and a well stocked townhome. We will return.

Pleasant.
Only one problem. The internet signal (Wi-Fi)was non existent or very poor and I had to work online, which I couldn’t do. That service needs to be improved; otherwise everything was ok.

Lakefront Townhouse
Lake and Mountain View’s were just beautiful. Great porches and dock! The townhouse has everything you need, but is a little run down. Bathroom tub and shower area is really pitiful. Water also does not stay warm past five mins when showering.

Getaway Perfection!
Love, love, love this lake view townhome. If I could have stayed a month I would have. Walking into this home it felt open and airy. My boyfriend does all the cooking and the kitchen had everything we needed. We especially enjoyed the 'optimal technology' pots and pans. Me and my fur babies had wonderful adventures near the lake. Restaurants, grocery stores, fruit and vegetable stand all in proximity to us. I never exercise and my legs got a nice workout on going up and down the stairs in the unit and going up and down the hill to the dock to watch the boats go by while my boyfriend did a little fishing. The master bedroom is awesome as we had water views to wake up to and we slept super comfy! Nice little touches throughout. The weather was perfect other than a super windy night due to a storm from Zita but the rest of our stay we had 73° sunny days and spent lots of time on the top porch and bottom porch watching the sun set and star gazing. We will definitely be back in the spring and I can't wait!!

Beautiful and Relaxing!
We fell in love with this nicely furnished town house with beautiful lake and mountain views from every room. The furniture and beds are very comfortable. The area is very beautiful and everything is convenient. We will definitely stay there again.

Fantastic on the Lake - SPIDERS!
The condo was amazing, I had a shot out of the living room and the dining room of the lake. We were right at the shore and even had a dock to fish off of. It was so nice and quiet. Very relaxing. I do recommend this property; however, two things. I mentioned a dog, but didn't take one and was charged anyway. There were spiders all OVER this place. The do not spray. We had to cleon off top porch before we could even sit outside, and we killed 5 spiders in the house. Get rid of the spiders and don't charge people without confirmation!!!

Gorgeous Location in Hiawassee GA
The town house was an end unit situated right in Lake Chatuge. The view out of any corner and window was the lake. Literally 15 steps to the shore!! Beware if you have trouble with stairs because entering is stairs and the bedrooms are down stairs. At times it was easier to walk around. The home was very comfortable, a well stocked clean kitchen and nice big bedrooms. The one full bath which is down stairs could use some cleaning especially the shower/tub. Super close to everything in town. Will definitely stay again.

PERFECT LOCATION !!!!
We absolutely loved everything about this property. We drove from FL with our kids and 2 dogs. Everything was perfect for us. The dock were awesome to have, we were Able to have our 2 watercraft there during our stay. We are definitively planning to go back in fall. Thank you to Tiffany who was our contact for the rent of the location. She was amazing, great communication, returning answer to our email really quickly. Would definitively recommend this place.
