Beautifully proportioned 6 berth chalet.
Open plan kitchen lounge with seating for 6 people.
Double master bedroom and second bedroom with a triple sleeper bunk (single top bunk, small double lower bunk).
6th bed is a Single z bed.
Fully equipped kitchen with oven and hob, microwave, fridge freezer, and washing machine.
Travel cot available on request.
Bedding included. For hygiene reasons we request that you bring your own towels.

Please don’t suggest with the picture that you see at the website. House is in horrible condition. Dirty and smelly. We didn’t even stay there one hour.

Hi mablethorpe was lovely and it was a lovely weekend getaway, there were a few issues with property as we entered there was a strong smell of animal urine which i believe was coming from the rug in front room, i hoovered all through and mopped several times i rolled the rugs up and put them under one of the beds for duration of our stay, which is where i left them on leaving (as did not want to touch them again) as we entered bedroom a panel from the ceiling fell of (luckily not on us) and as we opened cupboard door under sink it fell of its hinges, apart from that everything else was fine thank you, i think the property would benefit from a bit of renovation, but we had a good stay.

When we arrived we found ourselves doing the basic cleaning, it looks to me as If nobody cleans the place, the amount of dust and cobwebs in places that shouldn’t have cobwebs is disgusting, around the bed boards, toilet, in every corner, the side of the fridge and the fire extinguisher was covered in them and the kitchen blinds was so dusty like they don’t ever get moved. The shower basin was basically falling to pieces, a lot of orange build up and also hair still in there from previous people. The toilet brush is broken and hasn’t been changed in I don’t know how long, dirty from previous people using it. In every corner of the carpet and door frames looks like dog hair is still there it’s just not been hoovered properly and when we used the hoover to do this, we had to leave the windows open all day to get rid of the hoover smell. Dust build up at the bottom of the curtains (floor level curtains) very bad build up of dust and hair where the bed slats are under the mattress (I wasn’t looking for this I was simply putting my own bed sheet on the bed and noticed it) there was a note on the fridge saying there is milk in the fridge etc but there wasn’t (not that big of a deal but take the note off the fridge) 2 and half rolls of toilet roll for 7 nights with 2 adults and 2 children which is not enough! The sofa isn’t clean and is being supported by pillows under the seating pillows. We covered the sofa with the bedding they provided and used our own bedding. I’n need of TLC!

Lovely ultra quiet, clean, friendly site. Chalet with good amenities full size fridge/freezer, good size tv, very quick easy heating system. Everything close by for entertainment. Seal sanctuary a must visit even within kids. Five minutes away Would rent again.

Couldn’t do enough for us, really warm, fresh and everything you need. Lovely view out front, free parking right outside, quiet perfect place for a break away and cheap. Definitely recommend will be rebooking in the near future. 5*

Great little find for a night away. Clean, well presented chalet with everything we needed. The location is great and the owners were great communicators who have made the check in and out process simple and easy. We stayed here with our children and they really enjoyed the experience as an alternative to a caravan. We would definitely use again.

I had an amazing experience. Chalet was very clean. Everything provided such as kitchen essentials, even had board games in the cupboard. Great atmosphere. Information about the chalet and check in was provided.

We had a lovely experience at the chalet, the location was great, the people in the area were lovely (especially the women in the pub on site). We weren’t far from the town or the beach so it was easy to do everything. The only criticism I have is that on the morning of our first day the owners waited outside the chalet looking in, being a group of 18years olds we were a bit nervous something was wrong so we got our booking up on our phone Just in case. We were met with a really stern owner telling us that the check out was 11, luckily we had the booking online and showed him but he was dismissive and slightly rude and only left when he felt the issue was resolved. We understand that mistakes happen but think the way it was dealt with was a little hostile for a small misunderstanding. Nevertheless had a lovely time and we recommend.

Great little chalet, perfect for a little getaway! Clean, cosy, amazing beds, all had a great night's sleep. My only suggestion would be to let people know in advance if change is needed to top up on electricity as in the middle of scary film, all electricity turnt off... You can imagine! Host's however responded very quickly and came to our rescue. More toilet rolls too as half of 1 is not enough. Overall a fantastic stay. Would definitely come again.

Although the chalet was very clean the heating was inadequate for the size of the property it was a hit and miss heater although the owner came round with a extra heater which was ok, the weather had turned really cold at the end of the week.

Location and cleanliness very good.However, very off putting to see wallpaper on walls and ceiling coming away with coving and skirting board incomplete and painted poorly as were the doors.Also the bathroom door did not close and it would have been a nice touch if the bed linen was ironed
