From the moment you walk in Carpe Diem offers a Grand and Majestic entrance featuring a tall vaulted ceiling, floor to ceiling double fireplace and surrounded by beautiful windows offering a beautiful view of the mature towering pines. This romantic and luxury cabin is perfect for a quick getaway to Beavers Bend with your special someone, or a small and close family of 4. Carpe Diem offers a queen size bed and a queen size sleeper sofa divided by the grand and majestic floor to ceiling double sided gas fireplace. This open concept is perfect as it opens up the a grand and fully socked kitchen that will fancy any Chefs desire! Step outside and enjoy the beautiful area! There are several items around the cabin that are broken and need to be fixed/replaced.
The bed needs to be replaced and/or fixed. Seems to be broken. My husband and I did not sleep comfortably and had back aches after each night of sleep.
Cabin is beautiful, spacious, and clean. The bathroom is roomy. Especially the shower.
There is an open mud room/closet to store your items.
Cabin is within range of several others but has a privacy fence on the back porch by the hot tub.
Close to restaurants and stores.
The front door really needs to be fixed up. One side is broken and screwed in to keep it from opening. There is a gap between doors that allows the cold to enter into the house.
Small ant problem near the sink.

We stayed 2 nights at this beautiful cabin. Everything was perfect for us. We enjoyed everything. On the first night we relaxed in the hot tub while watching football and enjoying the outdoor fireplace. We prepped a crockpot (we brought ours) meal the next morning in the surprisingly well equipped kitchen. They had plenty of utensils, pots and pans, etc. We then explored the beavers bend area, did some hiking, shopping and had delicious pizza at Grateful Head. In the evening we enjoyed our prepared meal in the spacious living room by the fireplace and rang in the new year outside in the hot tub while listening to the fireworks going off and watching the New Year’s Eve concerts on the outdoor TV. We love this place so much and hope to make it a frequent getaway!!

The cabin was beautiful. We really enjoyed the back porch with hot tub and TV. The location was great. The only complaint I have is that there were two of us staying for 3 days and there were only 3 towels. Would have liked a clean towel each day. Overall, I would stay there again.

Everything was wonderful with this cabin. We were a little worried since there wasn't any pictures of the bathroom but it was AMAZING. You are 5 minutes from everything you want to go to in Hochatown. The cabin was clean, cozy, and the hot tub was great. We will be staying here again for sure.

Mostly good
We enjoyed our stay. The cabin was well supplied and beautifully decorated. The back porch with the fireplace and the hot tub was wonderful. But we could not get the indoor fireplace to work. A leg on one of the chairs on the back porch was broken off. The water dispenser of the refrigerator did not work. The handle on the closet door of the dryer needed adjustment. Virgil Wheeler

Perfect - Cozy Modern
We loved this property! The location could not be better. The hot tub - the fireplaces - spacious spaces - comfy couches and we loved the modern simplicity and - the title of LUXE described it well.
** on a side note - do not forget to bring salt and pepper, oil or spray if you are cooking and basic essentials with you. . . . . nothing of the sort is provided for personal bathroom or kitchen.

Wonderful Getaway
This was the cutest cabin! It was cozy, intimate, and we loved all the amenities. The hot tub was wonderful at night along with outside patio time. We enjoyed s’mores on the fire pit and just some good family time.

Short Getaway
We had a great experience at this location. The directions to get to the actual cabin went into my junk mail folder, but thankfully the owner was very quick in their responses. The fan above the bed didn’t work, and there was no sugar for my coffee.. very minor inconveniences. The luxurious shower was AMAZING. Overall, we had a great time. Will be back.

Very Nice Cabin!
The cabin was very clean on the inside. Gorgeous layout and kitchen. The walk-in shower was amazing. Our only complaints are: the outside porches and grounds need a little work. Lots of overgrowth in the front and the front porches had tons of spider webs. Also, the ceiling fan above the bed doesn't work. Would also be nice to have some cleaning products. Other than those minor issues, it's a great place to stay! Highly recommend!

The cabin was beautiful & nicely furnished. We loved the outdoor patio with hot tub, fireplace & tv. We spent a lot time out there. The only complaints would be that the sleeper sofa is very uncomfortable & that the kitchen could be stocked with a few more kitchen basics like cutting board, Pyrex bowls for microwave & the coffee maker has several broken parts & should be replaced.We will definitely be back & recommend.

Perfect Romantic Getaway
Carpe Diem was the perfect romantic getaway to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary! This little cabin is nestled in the woods with plenty of privacy but is still close to all the Hochatown action. Our favorite feature in this cabin was the amazing extra large shower with THREE luxurious shower heads. Our only complaint was the fan above the bed didn’t work. We are from Louisiana & ceiling fans are a must....even during cold nights. But, that little hiccup didn’t dampen our trip at all. We still had a great time.
