Only the location was close to town
Check in was 3pm
Come 3.30pm i had to ask for the details of how to get in . Arrived there and the cleaners were still in the property doing washing and asked us to wait in the bedroom! Despite it now being nearly 4pm and checking in was 3pm!
They also left us the wrong keys and there was no fob to get in the main building . Messaged the landlord and was just ignored! Ruined out whole weekend because one of had had to stay in at all times or be locked out the building! Also dint fancy going out and leaving the door on the latch as they gave us the wrong keys!
The tv remote also did not work and there was no aerial for tv ! Do not stay here

The location was great . The rooms were lovely
It smelt of stale smoke so I had to get a plug in , the door to the balcony has a small leak when it’s rains and the floor in the bathroom is broken . The electric to the kettle need attention as well it kept shorting out

The apartment was clean and modern with good facilities, close to the town centre. It consists of an entrance hall, one en suite double bedroom, a smaller double bedroom (possibly a sofabed), separate bathroom and a kitchen/ diner/lounge area. Having a reserved parking bay was a godsend although it was easier to unload outside the building before parking up. The apartment area felt safe and there was easy pedestrian access to the town centre via a path and underpass. For us the main advantage of the apartment was that it was pet friendly so we could take a dog. But it also served well as a relaxing base while we visited relatives in Basingstoke.
We arrived after dusk and had some trouble finding the parking bay - bays are numbered but not consecutively. We had to message the owners for detailed instructions. Fortunately they responded promptly.
There appeared to be a shortage of spoons at the property - they turned out to be in the dishwasher, unwashed.

Turned up at the apartment and was told which parking space to leave my car by the apartment owners. Went to the apartment to collect the parking pass, but was informed that the last occupants must have taken it away. I returned to my car after only spending a couple of minutes in the apartment to find a parking ticket. I contacted the owners of the apartment and they asked me to send a picture of the ticket so they could pay it and apologised. 3 weeks later I received a letter stating that the fine had not been paid. I contacted the owner multiple times and have sent a picture of the letter showing the fine and they have not responded. I am very disappointed! Be careful booking this property if you have a car and expect good customer service.

I like the location and the size of the flat. but I am struggling to add anymore that I liked. Whilst the flat appeared to be just what I needed. It was not when I go there. It was a good experience all said and done.
There could of been lots that could of been better. The first issue was prior to my arrival. I had a call form the hostess to explain the the previous tenant had damaged the double bed and that I could not use it. This was fine in the short term as I was a single man needing a flat near to the person I am caring for this was far from a problem. The hostess also confirmed a discount for the booking given the issues. I was happy to accept and she further confirmed that I could stay longer on the Sunday as no one was using it till the following Monday. Again, all perfectly acceptable.
However, further small issues started to add up.
Upon arriving at the property, the parking spaces were not obvious. Again, not much she could of done but when there are no visitor spaces and large signed over fines for parking in the wrong place, this does not help. However, there was a parking permit with the keys in the flat and the flat was left unlocked for me.
However, upon entering the flat, which was quite easy given the security door into the main entrance being open when it should of been locked. I entered the flat and found the keys but, no parking permit. I then called the lady who apologized and said she would be over shortly but said that parking permits were often driven off with. Not a good start.
She duly arrived 15 minutes later, she found the parking permit and all was well.
But the issues kept mounting up.
The two loos barely worked, the TV didn't, the bath could not give out cold water so unusable, the light fittings in the bathroom were broken and the windows had not been cleaned. Not pleased, and I never got my discount as promised.

It was very modern and comfortable the kitchen was clean and very every appliance worked we loved our stay and we would love to stay again :)
There was a bloody tissue under the bed and a used sanitary towel in the bathroom and on the first night there was a very loud party that went on until around 5am but apart from that it was a lovely stay and a great area :) would definitely stay again
