Beautiful and cosy with super hosts - will definitely be booking again.

Hosts were super friendly and helpful, responding to any questions I had. The location was beautiful and the hut itself cosy and warm. The bed was really comfortable and the shower was surprisingly spacious. This place does include free Wi-Fi and there is parking at their main place which is a 1 min walk away.

A very minor niggle - a couple of the blinds were broken which meant I had to manually try to roll them up and down rather than by using the string. I did also have a few dead bugs fall on me when I tried to open the skylight blind.

Think we would probably have given top marks if the little things mentioned hadn't been amiss.

Location was very quiet and peaceful.

The hosts had forgotten that we were due. Not sure if the welcome pack was actually there or whether the items left in the fridge constituted the welcome pack. Either way we were not keen on things like half used packs of butter left in the fridge and a small bag with few slices of bread sadly with some mould beginning.

Perfect - look forward to returning

The shepherd’s hut is a hidden jewel, it is the perfect place to escape. we had the most relaxing evening and will definitely return. we have also recommend to lots of our friends. If you do visit the hut ensure you try the crown inn for food - the food is amazing! You also have access to a BBQ hut. Thank you for a lovely stay.

we loved everything about the hut, the location - really enjoyed having a cuppa watching the sheep. Also there was a little stream.

Outstanding experience

This was a last minute booking at which I necessarily had to arrive late in the evening. I communicated this to the hosts who were happy to accommodate my request. Met at the property with a smile depsiteteh late hour. Sure comfortable stay with the most amazing view to awake to. Loved it and will be back. Thank you Cassie and Mark.

Nice wee place lovely hosts n easy commute to moterways

Nothing to dislike . Not suitable for disability needs . Bed was very comfortable but would be difficult to get into . No hand rails on steps but if ur able it's defo value for money

Perfect cosy rural retreat with stunning views!!

Friendly welcome to a lovely country farm. Short walk from the car park to where the shepherds hut is which has absolutely stunning views over rolling fields. This little retreat was beautifully clean and well stocked for our visit. Great facilities including an oven and a fridge - with a bottle of wine and some milk waiting for us! It’s the little things that make a trip away special and the extras provided were so lovely! Highly recommend this rural retreat! Can’t thank the hosts enough!
