The house was situated right by the beach which made it easy to walk for all ages. Easy access on and off.
Beautiful views from the porches. I wish the second-floor porch had more than two chairs. It would have been a great place for large gatherings. The inside was spacious, and we were able to enjoy family time and watch movies when we were tired from being on the beach. The kitchen was well appointed with everything, we did not find a highchair as stated, however.
I had messaged the owner about previous problems that needed addressing and he said they had been fixed. My one BIG thing was that the front door did not work well at all, hard to open and hard to close. This was an issue that was supposedly fixed, however it wasn't. There was a door that secured the steps going down so little kids couldn't escape or fall, that was nice. The beds were comfortable and the A/C great. The bedroom with the futon said there was a queen bed as well. However, our guests said it was only a double, which I believe was true. We probably would have picked a different property if we would have known that. We had three families, so there was lots of food. The listing said, two refrigerators, we only found one double door refrigerator/freezer. I would suggest taking out hurricane insurance for your stay. We lucked out being between the tropical storm that wreaked havoc and Hurricane Beryl.
All in all, a great stay, correcting a few things would make it perfect.

Wow, amazing house. Amazing location! We just spent jeep weekend at this amazing location. The house is clean, well decorated, spacious, and perfectly located. The rooms were cozy with each of three couples having their own bathrooms. Views to the beach were next to none. We were able to set up on the beach close enough to use the facilities at the house if we needed. Restaurant bar within walking distance. Highly recommend this property!

Enjoyed our visit. Would have enjoyed better weather but we are ysed to the changes after living in Oklahoma. The house was nicer than expected and the ramp was a God send for my son. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

The home was beautiful and we loved the location to the beach. We had 6 kids and 6 adults and had plenty of room.
We had a few issues but still had a wonderful time. I do believe the swing that is in the pictures on the website should either be repaired or taken down. The kitchen faucet was about to fall off. My husband had to repair it. Water drips out of the vent a hood onto the stovetop. There was no wine glasses. The downstairs area under the house was filthy. Sand all over the tables and on the ground. Normally the houses we stay in have had all that hosed down. The toilet in the outside shower area looked like it had never been cleaned. Very disgusting. There were no towels in the downstairs bathroom. After calling the owner, she told me to look in the dryer. I got them out and folded them. There was an issue checking in. The key wasn’t in the lock box but the house was unlocked so we got in. The key was finally brought to us late the next day after a couple of calls.
Like I said, there were issues but none of them kept us from enjoying our stay.

We enjoyed our stay at Truly Heaven on the Beach. The house was clean, beds were very comfortable, and there was plenty of room for six adults and two children. We enjoyed sitting on the wrap around porch in the mornings and evenings.The kitchen was pretty well stocked, but you will have to wash utensils and cups more often if you have a larger group. It was missing a can opener as well. The can opener was delivered promptly when we asked about it. This house was perfect for our family, being just steps from the beach and having a great view of the ocean.

Booked a three day stay with my 91 year old father and family. The wheelchair ramp was great. The house, if maintained would have been perfect. Decor is pleasant and bright. Furnishing are great. Now for the unpleasantries:
Safety issues.
1. Doors to the patios do not close properly. They are very hard to open or close. Two of the doors had holes from the door returns so you could look through them.
2. All of the knives in the kitchen were rusty.
3. Some utensils were broken.
4. No smoke detector in the hallway.
5. Broken baluster on the banister on inside stairs going to second floor.
6. The BIGGEST ISSUE- The advertisement stated two refrigerators, there was one and it was not cooling. An appliance repairman had to come fix it. We reported this to management and owner on the first day!! owner said it was because we brought in warm food. Not true. We were told the repairman would be right out on the first day. Well you guessed it, no repairman. Then we we were told oh he will be there 9 am. Well.,, no show again. Finally on the last day the refrigerator was repaired. So needless to say. I had to have ice and coolers because the refrigerator did NOT cool to temperature. Yes, I know this for sure as i bought a refrigerator thermometer.
7. Outside maintenance issues, trash on property. No grill brush, no hair dryer and so much more that wll not fit in this note .

This was the first time renting this house on the beach. The house is beautiful and had everything we needed for our stay and was closer to the beach then we expected. It was a very short walk to the beach. We had me, my son with his girlfriend and two daughters (8 and 2), my daughter with her husband and 3 children (4, 2, newborn) on this vacation. The children loved their first time on the beach and wanted to stay longer. We enjoyed our time in the house and were very happy with our accommodations. Thank you for making it wonderful.

Great house. Clean and lots of room. WIFI information is wrong. Trash pick up days are Monday and Thursday.
The beach although nice is way to busy with cars! They come consistantly down the beach. You need to watch the kids due to the traffic! At one point the police had all beach goers move back away from the water to allow the traffic the "right of way!"
Not a good situation for families!
That reason alone will prevent me from renting at this beach again.

We stayed during the week of Thanksgiving. Although the weather was cold and rainy (one takes one's chances in November!), the house was perfect. Check-in was easy, and the house is just as advertised and was perfect for our family. It is conveniently located near the beach; although technically on the second row, I think, it has good views and access to the Gulf. The property is well-maintained, and the kitchen is well-stocked. Note: water does build up in the street when it rains, but it did not present a problem. Thanks to Zuhair and Layla for a lovely break.

Beauuuuutiful home! My family & I loved it. Very spacious, with such amazing views, touches, design/layout, & beautiful décor, it will definitely be added to the yearly beach vacation list.=)
The only downside was the hard walk to the beach. Yes, there is a boardwalk to walk over the marsh-ish areas, but getting up the burning hot sand dune to make it to the boardwalk walkway with 2 little kids under 7, and a 7-mo old, with a wagon & beach gear, turned out to be quite the surprise.
But again, a very beautiful rental that I plan on renting again soon.

The house was exactly what the listing described, was super cute, clean, and had everything we needed. Access to the beach is a short walk making visits pretty easy even with a family’s worth of stuff to haul. We hope to stay again!

BEAUTIFUL BEACH HOUSE!
The beach house was beautiful and so were the views from the porches. Living room and kitchen are set up perfectly for enjoying family time. The bedrooms gave everyone enough room to be comfortable and the master bedroom was perfect. The location is the best, just steps from the water. And a very short walk on the beach to ocean front restaurants. Our week was great !

The family loved our time there. The home is beautiful, well maintained, has all the amenities we needed, and Zuhair amd Layla were super responsive at all stages of the process. We had a very minor issue with the kitchen faucet one day and after a call to Zuhair, he had his maintenance guy stop by within a couple of hours and we were good to go! I know others have said the fridge doesn’t get super cold but we did not notice that. It was plenty cold and we had it filled up!
Bedrooms are spacious and there was room for everyone. Others have spoken to the odd bed setup in one room. It’s unusual but fine for a single person or a couple that likes to snuggle. ❤️❤️
There was a brand new grill that we used and the outdoor shower & restroom is fabulous. We used it everyday for rinsing off after the beach, etc.
We also rented the house next door for a portion of the week after having additional family members join us for a few days. That process was seamless and since it’s the same owners it worked out especially well.
We will definitely be back to this home the next time we head to the beach at Surfside.
The only complaint we have (no fault of the owners or the property) is the water situation in Surfside Beach. The owners provided a 5-gallon water jug and the home has a dispenser. We got a real lesson in how much clean, fresh drinking water a big family needs! We will know better how to prepare for this next time.

Very nice place to stay
This property is very nice for a family/friends vacation. Zuhair is very friendly, responsive and helpful. Just I wish the beds were more comfortable in the two of the bedrooms upstairs (the ones that can accommodate 4 guests each). Overall, We were satisfied and recommend this property.

The owner keeps the property in excellent shape. We had a great weekend at the home. It is only steps from the beach,
and large enough for our family..and older dog. A wide ramp made loading and unloading easy, and dog friendly. The ocean views from the balconies were superb. It is a perfect place to relax and enjoy the beach.

I cannot say enough how much we loved this house ! We will be returning here for future functions. Love how close it is to the beach. The beds were super comfortable and kitchen had everything you could need !

We stayed August 5-8 at this house with a party of 6 adults and 4 kids. There was plenty of space for that amount of people and room to spare.
I have almost no complaints, however there are a couple of things to be aware of:
*The biggest one is that the second bedroom upstairs is a WEIRD setup. The headboard is normal against the wall, but the bed itself is sideways. So you have to sleep sideways with one person against the headboard or put kids in that bed because they won't hang off the edge. The couple in our party who were going to sleep in there wound up being more comfortable with her in the bed and him on the couch.
*The fridge does not get super cold. It appeared cold when we got there and we only put cold items in it initially so as not to overload it, but it never got very cold the whole weekend. It wasn't a problem because it kept food cold enough not to spoil, so we just put drinks in coolers with ice. The freezer was plenty cold enough to stay frozen.
*The coffee maker seemed to be clogged or something. It took over an hour for a brew cycle and only put out half a pot. Twice. So we ordered K cups and just used the keurig.
*There is a charcoal grill provided, even though it isn't really listed. We used it, it was fine.
The house overall had plenty of space and basically everything you could need. The view and location are about as good as it gets for a house of that size on the beach (the ones right in the sand are all much smaller). The host was very fast in responding when I needed to contact her a couple of times. Just so you know ahead of time: the code to unlock the house is not provided until it is literally time to check in. We had a 4pm check in time and I called her from Buccees at 330. The cleaning crew was still there at 4, but they were finishing up and they were very nice as well.
Grocery delivery is available through both HEB directly and instacart, which was awesome.
You can have fires on the beach. Just letting people know in case they wanted to bring wood. DON'T do it below the house, it is prohibited and dangerous, but it was nice to have a little fire in the sand by the waves at night while the kids ran around catching ghost crabs.
Overall, we had a great time and I would rent here again without hesitation. Just make sure you and anybody you give the address to put it in correctly (Ave, NOT rd!) or they will wind up a couple miles inland. We ordered some groceries that were delivered to the wrong Rd address.

We had a lovely family visit. Very close access to the beach, and the ocean views are terrific. The property is very nice and well-maintained; and Zuhair was very responsive, friendly, and helpful.

Great place for large families!
This was by far the nicest beach house we’ve rented. They must’ve dropped a fortune on it because it has all the upgrades. Crown molding everywhere, lights on lights and accent lights, decorated wall to wall, and so much space for everyone. Every room had TV and internet access, and no issues with the A/C.
I’d say there were three issues we ran into -
1) Checking in required us to call the owner. It took 10-15 minutes to get ahold of them but we did get the code for the key box. Usually you get this via message ahead of time.
2) You really have to watch your step when going down the stairs, where the steps curve to meet the 1st floor. Three different people in our group slipped and nearly got hurt. Once we were aware we were extra careful.
3) When we got there we packed the fridge full, and because of that it took forever for it cool down. So we took some out, let it cool, then stocked it again.
Otherwise, it was a fantastic place right on the beach. Rain and wind ruined part of the trip but overall a great spot. Will be back for sure!

This house is a great home for our family! Large enough for us to all have space. There were 5 adults, 8 year old, 2 year old and newborn twins. During the day our 4 local adult children came over. The house is great and the porches are great too.

Annual family vacation
Beautiful. This is a beautiful home and perfectly set up for family fun and relaxing. Practically on the beach. This house has not only an outdoor shower but, also an outdoor toilet. This was very nice with being so close to the beach. No using port-a-pot on beach or having to track extra sand through home.
Located very close to beach front restaurant and bar with live music but, enough distance not to be a bother when sleeping. Great overall location.
If there are any cons to this house it would be the water. This isn't the owner's fault. Just the water system at Surfside overall isn't the greatest. The owner has a filtration system and a separate water dispenser. This helps tremendously . The ice maker doesn't work but, I'm guessing this is on purpose because ice from Surfside water wouldn't be the best. Bagged ice is easy and cheap enough to pick up.
Hope to stay at this home again in the future. Wonderful week with family that, as always, goes by way to fast.

Second time to stay and will be back
This house is a great home for our family! Large enough for us to all have space. There were 5 adults, 8 year old, 2 year old and newborn twins. During the day our 4 local adult children came over. The house is great and the porches are great too.

Wonderful house and host
We were a party of 7people way past our 50 looking for a quite and relaxing weekend, and we had it. The house is perfect, comfortable and well located. Both floors are surrounded by balconies, and every room has access to it making the rooms full of light and views, which I found beautiful; social area and kitchen are spacious and well equipped. Carpentry is harmonious around the house, including stair railing making it kind of luxurious; bathrooms are divided between sink and toilet +shower which adds dynamism to get ready to enjoy the beach. We didn't notice the keurig coffee maker in the pictures so we had just americano :) We hope we can rent it again this summer because it is one of the best houses in the area
