Pelican's Place is a modern luxury oceanfront home on the beach in Pacific City. Everything from top to bottom was designed with quality coastal comfort in mind. The home boasts the best views on the beach from the stunning and unique roof top deck. There are 6 bedrooms and 5 full bathrooms. Truly a dream kitchen, there is plenty of room for family meal prep with a huge kitchen island, double ovens and upgraded appliances. There is a luxurious and spacious great-room with open kitchen, eating bar, amazing gathering spaces and a luxuriously huge gas fireplace. The bedrooms are lush and spacious, each with their own bath. Quality throughout including nice mattresses, linens and lovely finishes. Each bathroom and shower has gorgeous custom tilework. The downstairs den with a big TV s a perfect space for a gameroom, or for kids to have their own space. The oceeanfront primary bedroom has direct beach access, fantastic views and a gorgeous full bath.

Lower level: Den with game table; primary bedroom with king bed and full bath with shower; bedroom with double/twin bunk and twin bed shared bathroom with shower; bedroom with queen bed and doors to 6th bedroom with twin and trundle and another full bath with tub/shower.

Kiwanda Shores is a private gated community of quality homes on the ocean front in Pacific City. Security, pride in ownership and peaceful enjoyment of the coastal experience is shared by Kiwanda Shores homeowners and renters alike. A low bank sandy beach slopes to the ocean from the Ocean Front homes. Beach access is available to the Second Row and Back homes.

This home is pet friendly for one or two dogs. Please let us know if you will be bringing a pet so that we can add the non-refundable pet fee of $10/night . Only well-behaved dogs are allowed. Pets are not allowed on the furniture, or left in the house unattended.

This home is built directly on a sand dune that leads to the beach. During winter storms the sand can quickly drift and accumulate around the property sometimes affecting the ocean view. Although we make every effort to remove the sand and preserve the view prior to your stay, the winter weather makes this difficult to predict and views may not be guaranteed.

Occupancy rules are strictly enforced and apply to the entire property during the stay. Additional day-use guests may be allowed with management pre-approval. After your booking is confirmed, you will be sent the full rental contract and terms.

The safety of our staff, guests and local community is our top priority. This home is professionally managed and cleaned to strict standards in line with CDC guidelines, including supervised housekeeping and post-clean sanitation.

Cancellation policy: 1/2 the total cost of the booking is subject to forfeiture if reservation is canceled or changed within 30 days of arrival. 100% of rental rate is charged if cancelled (or no-show) within 7 days of arrival. If the house is fully rebooked by another renter, cancellation charges (less $35) will be refunded. Reservation cancellation fee is $35. (If you book with a 3rd party, different charges may apply).

This home was so well appointed and cared for. The home is perfect and they have spent a lot of time creating the perfect home, in our favorite location. Beds were great, kitchen is wonderful, the views are spectacular. My guest were very pleased and everyone had plenty of space to enjoy the home. Thank you so much for creating such an amazing place. Easy access to Cape Kiwanda and some beautiful tidal pools! Stunning view of the Rock! Kitchen had everything we needed to fix meals for ourselves. The neighborhood was quiet. Plenty of hot water for everyone. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay here again. Some shopping in Pacific City, and then Tillamook and Lincoln City weren’t far up the road.

Just Amazing, the house, the beach, “the Rock” the seaport village…All “Just Amazing”. Every family member had a bed and an adjoining bathroom. Morning walks on the beach, the sounds of sea in the air. “It was heaven on earth.”

The house was beautiful. It was disappointing to have mattresses that were not comfortable. Also the blinds that were present did not block out any morning sunlight so We were up at 6:30 am. Not what I had planned on. The kitchen stove was not great and it was made for flat pans but there were very few flat pans there. Most of them were curved so they did not heat up properly and one of them turned our eggs green. But overall we were very pleased. I would just make those few improvements. I had to rewash some of the dishes before using them and the garbage was not removed before our arrival.

Pelican's Place was the perfect setting for our large family gathering. The spacious living area was perfect for beach watching, games, TV, reading and chatting simultaneously. Also, the upstairs deck was enjoyed by everyone, multiple times a day. We had a few housekeeping issues, but they were taken care of promptly by KCP and the housekeeping staff. All-in-all, our stay was pretty fabulous!

Overall a great place to stay. Nice newer house in an awesome location right on the beach in a gated community. There is some damage that has yet to be repaired and the cleanliness left a bit to be desired, especially for the price. However, I would absolutely recommend to others. The large great-room is awesome for bigger groups and has amazing views of the ocean.

This home is gorgeous and exactly as pictured/described. Kiwanda Coastal Properties was great to work with and very responsive. The house was immaculately clean and check-in/out process was convenient. We had 11 in our group - 6 adults and 5 kids (ages 12-15) and the property was absolutely perfect.

Amazing View!

A perfect location with the rock right out front and the sand dunes a short walk down the beach. We had unusually good weather for December in Oregon -- and one of the best sunsets that rivaled Hawaii! The house is new (has been rented since August 2020) and is nicely furnished. The only downside was mediocre cleaning. Every pot/pan had crusty food; plates were stuck together with food. Hair on floors and in showers of most bathrooms. Food on floor in main room. Toilet in one master clearly had not been cleaned from previous guest (gross!). Big pictures windows with the great view were really dirty. All this place needs is better attention to cleaning and it will be a great property. At the prices they charge, we expected better. The property manager was responsive to our concerns.
