Ideally located inside Lakeside gates: The town of Lakeside sits on the shore of Lake Erie , between Port Clinton and Marblehead . Lakeside offers loads of activities including: fishing, kayaking, shuffle board, mini golf , bike/ golf cart rental ,swimming pool, fitness center, art & music activities and live entertainment to name a few.
Cottage is steps away from downtown , Hoover Auditorium & Dock. Location is quiet, tucked behind main house & offers an outdoor courtyard with seating. Newly renovated cottage is fresh, clean & offers lots of natural light. Cottage has an open floor plan with a double bed, new futon, full kitchen, eating area, lounging area, window A/C, Cable/WIFI, bike storage, & large walk-in closet.
*Memorial Day weekend- Labor Day weekend Lakeside charges gate fees per person and Auto Fees daily. PLEASE Review Gate and Parking fees in Rental Agreement at time of booking.

My mom and daughter stayed here while my husband and I were camp counselors for Reach Out Camp at Lakeside. It is the perfect little space for 2-3 people. The location is excellent and the owners are great to work with!

This little stay is perfect for a couple at lakeside. We stayed here while the rest of our family stayed at another place, and it was nice to have our own space. It was one of the hottest weeks in the summer, and the AC still kept it cool.

My son and I are frequent visitors to Lakeside. We had a wonderful stay in Barb’s guest house. We were warm and cozy, and did not want for a thing. The bed and futon were very comfortable. Thank you so much for having us.

We had a great stay at this cottage. It had everything you need for a stay inside and out! We enjoyed lunch on our own private patio area. Barb, our host, was in touch with us to make sure we were settled in. Close to all activities in Lakeside. Thank you for true Lakeside hospitality!

The cottage is charming and comfortable and very clean. The host is very accommodating and friendly. The only drawback, and it is important is that the listing is not transparent about the fees charged by the Lakeside/Chautauqua homeowners' association for parking and admission. The listing does tell prospective guests to review the information concerning these provided by the association. These fees are considerable and the prospective guest needs more transparent warning about this.

Great little place close to all. My 90 year old mother was even able to walk to the shops. Perfect for one or two people and everything included. New couch / futon was a great addition from last year.

This was so cute , clean and close to everything. We walked everywhere in town and took the shuttle to pool . We had everything we needed inside our apt. Highly recommend this place.

The cottage was a cute little place. Perfect for that couple that would like a nice place to stay all while being close to the Lakeside town center, pier, and all the other amenities. The place was very clean and had everything that we needed to enjoy our stay.

Cute, comfortable, clean cottage. Barb was very responsive and accommodating. Lakeside is a lovely, very safe community like stepping into the set of the Music Man. One thing to be aware of in advance is the $30 per person daily fee plus a daily parking fee ranging from $7- $14 a day. There are 3 separate parking lots from where u are then shuttled to your destination.

We loved our stay at Barb and Dave’s place!
(It was amazing to have this comfy & cozy cottage to stay in between shuffleboard, mini golf, ice cream trips, and strolling around downtown lakeside!)
This place has everything you need, a nice kitchen, an AC unit, quaint bathroom + shower, and a small outdoor place to relax in the evening.
It was located super close to the Hoover auditorium and downtown area. We parked in the local lot close the house which was great when we explored outside of community.
We already can’t wait to come back to Barb and Dave’s place! What an absolute joy to stay to show Lakeside to my wife. 😀

I had a last minute chance to get away. Lakeside properties are typically Saturday to Saturday, so to find this studio available Tuesday through Sunday was ideal. The location was close to downtown and super clean. The best part was the private patio. I was outside the entire get-away! Certainly hope to stay here again, Thank you!

My wife and I stayed here last week and couldn’t have been happier! The property was perfect for our stay, with everything we needed. We’ve stayed at the two hotels in Lakeside previously and this little place is so much better and way cleaner! I can’t imagine staying anywhere else in Lakeside the next time we visit. My husband and I came for a family reunion and this location was absolutely perfect for us! So close to everything we liked to do from going to Coffee & Cream a few times per day, to enjoying the dock and activities, to visiting our families in their respective cottages, we were never more than a few mins walk away. The AC worked really well and kept us cool while we slept. The property is so cute, decorated in the classic lakeside style, and the perfect size for a couple or a single, depending on the size of bed you're used to. We had no issues with sleeping comfortably and it was really nice that linens were provided! Sheets, bath towels, and kitchen towels were all there for us to use and drop in the laundry basket when we left. There was a nice little set of dishes to use, microwave, toaster, fridge, and oven/stove (though we didn't use all the things) and that was all very much appreciated. We did use the WiFi and we were relaxin' too hard to really utilize the cable TV but that was available too! Barb was super easy to chat with and so welcoming! She and her husband were hanging out at their place to make sure we got in okay and had all we needed. She thought of everything! It felt like coming home! 10/10 would recommend! We signed the little guest book and told our family members about how great our little home-away-from-home was! Thank you thank you thank you!!

This is the cutest cottage! So cozy, SO CLEAN, great use of space and furniture! Quite the surprise to see a full kitchen and new bath. The owners were extremely friendly and very accommodating. Look forward to renting it again next year!

Great Stay!!
This was our first stay-cation at Lakeside. The first thing that impressed us was how quiet it was. We arrived on a Thursday but the entire wekend was so peaceful. This property was exactly as described: cute, cozy, and just right for two people. It was very clean and had the amenities we needed. The favorite spot for me was the small patio outside our door. Very peaceful. I read my book, watched a squirrel eating his lunch of chestnuts and on the last day spotted a small orange and black song bird I had not seen before. The owner kept in touch and made sure we were satisfied.

We had a nice mini-vacation at Lakeside. Cute cottage with all necessities. Barb/Dave were great hosts immediately fixing cable when it went out! Lakeside is a nice community- very kid friendly for those with kids. We found long walks and explored Kelley Island with our bikes. Relaxing time away!

A peaceful get away
The cottage is a great spot to get away and enjoy lakeside. It's located two blocks away from the shops and lake. Owners were super easy to talk with, and we're very hospitable when I met them over my stay. This is a nice little getaway in the beautiful town of Lakeside. I would highly recommend it.
