About this house rental
Stay in a piece of Palisade history! This charming Palisade farmhouse was originally built in 1909! It has since been beautifully updated to an entertainment getaway. We look forward to your stay!
The space:
You will have the entire farmhouse to yourselves. There are 3 bedrooms (each with a queen bed), as well as a pull out couch downstairs and small futon couch upstairs. There are two bathrooms - the upstairs bath includes a spacious tub/shower combo, while the downstairs bath has a stand alone shower. The large kitchen is stocked with basic amenities and there is a mud/laundry room with wine fridge and a washer and dryer for your use. Enjoy outdoor entertaining with a large deck, grill, hot tub, a large beautiful lawn perfect for volleyball and cornhole, or enjoy a relaxing dinner joined by our famous Colorado Sunsets.
Things To Do:
Just minutes away from Riverbend Park, downtown Palisade, wine country and orchards, and the Palisade Plunge, the Farmhouse is conveniently located for mountain biking, wine tours, and shopping all the local fruit stands. We are also just a short drive away from Powderhorn Resort, the Colorado National Monument, the Grand Mesa (the largest flat top mountain in the world), Grand Junction, and Fruita. We are local to Palisade and are happy to give recommendations for shopping, dining, wine tasting, fruit picking, and outdoor adventures such as river sports and mountain biking. Please don't hesitate to reach out.
The Farmhouse is located on our working peach farm. During peach season (roughly mid August to early September), guests can enjoy picking peaches in our orchard at a discounted price. Orchard tours are also available upon request. Please reach out if you are interested!

We had an awesome time at this cute house right next to a peach farm, would reccomend

We were 5 in total. We all slept comfortably and marveled at how well the kitchen was stocked, the extra towels and bedding available and the cleanliness. All the appliances worked, the TV and wi-fi straight forward, and the house just cozy! It was great staying on a peach farm, and being close to many wineries was wonderful too!
We would stay again and highly recommend this rental!
Oh, and we left an extra car key in the house and Sydney was so kind to mail it back to us promptly! Great communicator and a great guy:)

The group had a great time at this lovely VRBO. We were steps away from a peach grove, and minutes away from some great wineries and downtown Palisade. The house could not have been better. It was clean and fresh on our arrival, the beds were comfy, the kitchen was well stocked for cooking and being together. Plenty of room to spread out. The hot tub was clean and easy to access. We had a greta time at this 5 star VRBO and would highly recommend.

Handy spot, great deck and hot tub. It was a very nice spot for our family to gather.

We especially loved the trains, the hot tub and the wood burning stove. Great place in Palisade!

Beautiful peach orchard & wonderful size kitchen, which is necessary for preparation of family size meals. Very quite & relaxing & we all enjoyed the hot tub. One of the best VRBOs ever! Very clean, plenty of towels too!

Two friends and myself booked this spot for a half marathon and it was perfect for us. We each had our own comfortable bed, the kitchen was a great size for us all to cook in together and the hot tub for recovery was exactly what we needed. The location was also very conveniently located to restaurants and vineyards. I would definitely stay here again!

The listing says this place can sleep up to 8 people, but I found two of the bed options extremely uncomfortable. The black futon and the pullout bed from the couch are both un-sleepable. I'd say that 6 could comfortably sleep but definitely not 8. Other then that, the house is nice, good location, clean, etc. It's just the number of people who can comfortably stay here that I had an issue with.

Spacious home and property with hot tub, grill, etc. Great place to getaway as a group! Only complaint is the road and train traffic -- if you are a light sleeper, you may want to consider something else.

Our three couples totally enjoyed our three night stay at this VRBO. It was clean, very spacious, great kitchen and outside eating space, complete with hot tub. Communication with Sydney was easy and timely. Very uncomplicated check in and out. We loved the location as we attended the Wine Festival - we could easily bike to the park on the bike trail. My husband, friends and I truly enjoyed our weekend there and would consider another stay.
Thank you Sydney and family! 👏😃
p.s. The creaky stairs really brought a nostalgic charm to the weekend! No sneaking out of the house in the middle of the night! 😉

Overall we had a great time with the family on 4th of July weekend!
Pros: very clean, spacious, easy to bike to all the wineries! Kids loved watching the train go by!
Cons: while the location is super close to town and convenient in that way, it is next to a trucking company where semi truck engines run. It has the feeling of being in l between two parking lots. The other thing was that the yard isn’t completely fenced so could be troublesome for dogs near a busy road or small kids.

We walked into a spotless house that smelled great. Sydney made sure that the hot tub was ready to go and allowed us to drop our stuff off early so we could enjoy some of the wineries without having our cars full of suitcases. The home has everything you would need and more to enjoy your stay. The patio was private and perfect for hanging out after a long day. We would stay here in a heartbeat. Thank you Sydney for answering all of our questions and giving us great advice on bike rentals. This was such a great relaxing get away!!!!

Very convenient place to stay for hiking and wine tasting.
Room enough for our family to hang out! Loved the grill outside and the yard for our dog to roam.
Upstairs can get warm but a couple fans would help move the air.
Easy to find- a little train noise and a roaming cat.
All you need in the kitchen for dinner at home!

This old farmhouse is very cute and nestled among peach orchards. Host was very responsive. We all enjoyed our stay.

This farm house was enjoyable, clean and lovely. The kitchen was well stocked and the large living room was perfect for our family. The hot tub was clean and a relaxing addition. Our little one loved the train that comes by the house. It didn't wake any of us up at night, but we also travel with "white noise" apps (being light sleepers and all). We loved the old historical house feel, it was so much fun! Overall, this was one of the best VRBO experiences we've ever had. We will definitely book here again.

Great place if you do not have high expectations. House smelt like cat litter/cat food with a cat living outside (must live inside when there are no renters?) all the windows were left unlocked, and lacked some hospitality needs. Over all great location, spacious home with lots of character, & communicative host.

More beds than initially advertised (3 beds, 1 futon, 1 pull-out couch), so plenty of room for our group of 6. Close to a few good wineries and easy access to the river walk.

Really great location and very helpful host! There was plenty of room for 8 adults although we did bring an air mattress since the provided futon was a bit small. Hot tub was lovely and there’s a sweet cat that greets you on the deck. Perfect spot for what we needed.

This is the second time we have stayed at this property. We absolutely love it.
The hosts are very nice and very prompt at replying to messages.
We noticed since our last stay that they have updated the house a bit, including a new fence. We brought our dogs with us and they loved having a yard they could run around and play in. This property is so darling, spacious and clean.
We didn't use the hot tub, so I cannot comment on it.
We will continue to book with these hosts.

Charming property close to town
The house is comfortable and has everything you need to cook and eat in, but it is close enough to town for dinner out. Too far for us older folks to walk, but you could definitely bicycle around without any problem. Nice to have a fenced yard for our furry family members! Great hot tub and deck!

The house is close to so many wineries and a couple of restaurants. The river/bike path is easily accessible. We did a lot of walking which was perfect. Palisade is a beautiful town.

Left tired instead of rested
The good:
Proximity to CO Monument, town and wineries; comfortable bed; clean linens and yard for dogs.
The bad:
Proximity to a busy/noisy 2 lane road without sidewalks; next to fairly active train tracks - trains come through at night blowing horns and more than just 2am as a previous review mentions; loose boards on decking that could be hazardous; outside needs some TLC for it to be an enjoyable space to spend time; downstairs shower head needs replacing and cold handle nearly impossible to turn.
The ugly:
Not a clean house. There was dust on the ceiling fan blades, hair throughout the home, appliances were not wiped down and the coffee pot was chipped - chipped glass should always be replaced.
I recommend that if cleanliness and quiet is important to you that you skip this property. We left more tired than when we came.

This house and property were amazing!
Its a very spacious house, that has a full kitchen and laundry room.
Everyone had enough space to not feel cramped and our 🐕 dogs had room to roam.
This house looks like it has been updated, we loved the instant boil water spout too!
I agree with other reviews that the down stairs bathroom is small, however the upstairs one is great.
We loved that we could bring our dogs and they had room to explore. We thought the property was fenced in, but its only partially fenced, so we never let them off leash.
Cannot review the hot tub as we did not use it.
The host was amazing and was very prompt at replying to my questions and inquiries.
Definitely will stay here again in the future!

Cute house
We finished off a girls long weekend biking through Palisade and wine tasting. This house was the perfect location and a perfect size for the four of us. We each had our own space and the house offered great shared space both inside and out. I would definitely rent again!
Thanks For the hospitality!
