About this house rental
Completely renovated beach home with new paint, flooring, and all new beach themed decor with hand-made custom headboards in some rooms. Our house is very warm and inviting for multiple families and/or couples alike. Space for the kids to be kids, space for the adults to relax, and a great room atmosphere where everyone can be together when they want. The stocked kitchen has most everything you need to make gourmet meals, quick and easy snacks, or use the outdoor gas grill to cook up your favorite local seafood or other tasty treats. We also have full-sized laundry facilities in the mud room just off the kitchen. We also just put in granite countertops and a subway tile backsplash (Mar 2022)!
Our home features 4 bedrooms and 2.5 baths on two levels, with a total of 1600 square feet of living area . Main upper level is 3 bedrooms 1.5 baths, Master bedroom has private half bath, King sized Sleep Number bed, new ceiling fan, and sitting area, second bedroom has King bed and new ceiling fan, third bedroom has queen bed. The shared full bathroom in the hall is complete with a shower and bathtub. Finished lower level (via interior staircase and exterior entrance) is a fourth bedroom featuring a Queen bed, Double bed, couch, TV and Wii gaming system for kids/teens, and also has a large additional full bathroom. All bedrooms have flat-screen TVs and cable TV provided, along with house-wide WiFi Internet access. High quality linens, towels, beach towels, and more are provided for your use with each rental at no extra cost.
Open concept great room, dining area and kitchen, vaulted 18 foot ceilings with lots of windows and 2 ceiling fans that provide tons of light and cool comfort (along with central A/C - heat). Screened in porch with ceiling fan, mini fridge, and plenty of places to sit and relax. There is a wraparound deck on three sides of our home, with a gate to close off the deck from ground access so kids and pets are safe, and stairs to a crow's nest (rooftop deck) with views of the inter-coastal waterway and the ocean. Perfect for sunrise coffees or sunset beverages, and some great tanning if you don't want to get all sandy!
With a short few minute walk to the beach access at end of the street, guests can hit the beach, come back for lunch, and then head back with ease. The enclosed private outdoor shower makes for easy clean up when you get back, or a relaxing evening shower outside with the cooler temps and soft beach breezes.

Beach Goals had everything we needed to relax and spend time together- whether we were headed to the beach, a short walk away; gathering to watch the Olympics, play board games or put together puzzles; cooking dinner on the grill; or going for a bike ride. And the owners were always immediately responsive if we had a question. We can’t wait to return!

Beautifully remodeled house, with pleasing decor. My family enjoyed the layout of the rooms, the screened porch in the back to enjoy the evenings and a pleasant deck in front to enjoy our morning coffee. We like the relaxed west end of the island with an easy walk to the beach. I personally recommend the 32st broad walk to the ocean since it has less steps. The fenced area around the house was definite asset if you have pups, though the deck can be locked also. We were there the week before the hurricane and had perfect weather. The host was easy to communicate with! My family wants to go back again sometime

Host was excellent communicator. We appreciated the fence that allowed exercise room for our dog. The rooftop lookout and shady back porch were added bonuses. Great location super clean and bright modern decor. Loved it!

We visited Beach Goals with 6 adults, 3 children, and 2 dogs. The sandy (hardly traveled) road to the beach was a relaxing stroll. The screened porch offered a very private outdoor area for hanging out every morning and evening. The living room area had plenty of space for everyone to spend time together. The fenced yard was a real plus with dogs and kids. All of that along with the wrap around deck leading up to the crows nest and the separate living area downstairs, each of us could have our quiet time or time all together. In the mornings, the grandkids would come out onto the front porch and have the best conversations with me while rocking in the glider. The beach wagons, beach chairs, and toys were a perfect touch! We happened to meet the owner of the home and she is delightful! She really cares about providing the best possible beach house experience and it shows.

We enjoyed a week at Sunset with our adult children. This is the best rental property we have visited on the NC coast. Plenty of room for 5 adults and everything you could possibly need. The kitchen was fully stocked with cookware, small appliances, etc to cook full meals. We appreciated the access to the grill, beach chairs and we enjoyed the bikes that were provided. Wonderful to have a fenced yard when bringing your family pet along on vacation. Will definitely be repeat visitors!! Communication with owner was top notch!

My family and I spent a week at Beach Goals! The home is beautiful and comfortable! It is close to the ocean and plenty of restaurants near by. The owner Kelly was quick to respond to any text I sent, she gave good info on great restaurants! And there was a sweet note and a cute gift bag when we arrived! The screened in porch was our favorite hangout! Cant wait to go back!!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Sunset Beach and could not have been happier with our stay at Beach Goals. The house had everything you would ever need (bikes, puzzles, books, games and several sitting areas inside and out) with a great quiet location and a short walk from the beach. The owners were very responsive to all of our questions and delightful to work with. We are already planning our next trip back!

Just returned from a week at "Beach Goals" with my new partner in life. This home is so cozy and unpretentious like some of the bigger houses; is a five minute walk to the beach, and fully equipped with everything you need. The back porch tended to be our favorite for cool rest in the afternoon and early morning coffee with the birds chirping. Very special place, owners very helpful. Two trips to the "Kindred Spirit" mailbox made it extra special.

This was the most amazing house at a beautiful beach. The owners respond quickly and have thought of everything. The house is extremely lean and well stocked. They thought of everything. We stayed a month and was not long enough. The family loved the house and the dog settled in quickly. It is amazing house and everything they stated is accurate. The beds comfy, nice towels, stocked kitchen etc. I give this 5 stars and will return!

As our family grows with spouses, four-legged children and a new grandbaby, this house fit all our needs for privacy and comfort. The downstairs was just what was needed for the baby + parents + 2 dogs. The living room had ample space to everyone to relax and the screened back porch was a great end-of-day gathering space.

9 family members (ages 31, 34, 62 to 74) and 2 dogs. Room enough for all. Comments from our crowd: Long cable dog tie was helpful near swing. Comfortable outdoor furniture. Plenty of beach chairs, towels, wagon very helpful. Bikes needed WD-40 but were OK. Bring bug spray if walking across dunes after sunset. Hosts were on-call and talked us through setting up TV after previous guests were gaming. Dining table only sat 4 comfortably. One control for temperature made it difficult to please many people on two levels. Sleep Number King bed not working; should be set at average firmness and unplugged. Sheets and pillows were so comfy. Downstairs privacy was perfect for the newly engaged. Decor is soothing. Appliances and fixtures fantastic. Dishwasher extremely quiet. Level yard for playing games. Turtle Patrol was an unexpected activity. Difficult to please all of this elder group. Everyone went home with new memories to cherish. I thought it was a terrific vacation.

Great family week
This house worked well for our 3 generations. The lower level was quiet for little one to sleep and the back porch was a great place to relax in the evening. Kitchen is very well stocked with all cooking needs.

House is exactly as listed- well stocked. Nothing we needed was not there. Many extras including beach chairs, bikes, wagon. Divided living spaces gave us plenty of room to spread out. We cooked and grilled most meals, kitchen had everything.
Easy walk to beach, even for little legs (children as young as 3 with us).
Lovely beach, super nice neighbors. Would absolutely stay here again and hope to soon!

Beach Perfection
Such a cute place! Quick little walk to the beach access (straight ahead!), and tons of seating both indoor and outdoor. We especially loved the screened porch. Care and love has been poured into this place and we didn’t lack for anything. Highly recommend!

Beautiful and relaxing stay
We had a wonderful stay at this property. The house was just as described. It had everything we needed and more. Kelly was an excellent host and communicated quickly throughout our booking. The kitchen has just been updated and looks and functions perfectly. The beds were comfortable, we had plenty of linens and towels. We really loved the back screened in porch!!! Relaxing at Sunset Beach
This home was extremely clean and organized. Hostess was accommodating. It had all the creature comforts one could possibly ask for. The beds were the most comfortable I have ever had in a rental. Beach only half a block away

Perfect Beach House
The house was perfectly appointed as a beach house. Everywhere we looked, it reminded us that we were at the beach. Also, it was such an easy walk to beach access. While we spent the majority of our time at the beach, it was so welcoming to come back to the house and sit on either the front porch, the screened in porch, or the roof deck. My wife and I celebrated out 25th wedding anniversary here, and I hope to return to this property with more family next year!

We absolutely love Sunset Beach and have been coming here for several years. This was our first time staying in the island over the bridge. We loved Beach Goals! Loved the neighborhood and the close beach access. The house had everything you could possibly need and the beach wagon, beach chairs, and bikes were an added touch as was the welcome bag! Our teenage son loved the downstairs area and is already ready to go back as soon as possible. Kelly was so nice and responsive and we will definitely be back as soon as we can. We loved Beach Goals and thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home!!

This was an amazing property! Very clean and so convenient to the beach. So many amenities including beach chairs, beach wagon, and beach towels. Loved the crows nest and screened in porch. The bed in master might the most comfortable bed I have slept in. Highly Recommend this property!!!

I can not say enough amazing things about this house!!! Perfectly clean, updated decor, NICE linens, pillows, towels ( not the normal “ cheap” ones at most rentals.),
super comfortable beds, The kitchen was well stocked, bikes, beach wagon, beach towels, all available to use. The outdoor shower was incredible! Just a five minute walk to the beach! We loved spending time in the screened in porch in the evenings! The downstairs is perfect for teenagers! Best place we have ever stayed at Sunset beach! We will be there again!

Perfect
This home is even better than the pictures. I am a clean freak and typically dread pet friendly homes. Not this one! We will definitely be back. This is clean, in a great location, and had a really neat layout. The owner was so awesome and even messaged to allow an earlier check in because it was cleaned early. It is decorated so cute and the porches make you feel at home. This is a hidden gem and we would rate more than 5 stars if we could.

Just Perfect
The house was just perfect for our family (6 adults and two dogs). The house itself was very clean and contained EVERYTHING Needed to make the stay great. Special touches such as a beach chairs, towels, and a cart to tote it all to the beach were so appreciated. Walking distance to the pier, shopping and beach. Short drive to amazing restaurants...suggested by the owners “handbook”. The family wants to reserve it every Easter.

My family and I have been vacationing at Sunset Beach for many years. This was our favorite rental thus far. Very clean, well kept and well supplied. The owners were very accommodating and easy to work with. I will definitely try to rent this house in the future. Also, an easy walk to the beach.
