About this cottage rental

Mid Cape classic beach cottage featuring 3 bedrooms and a four season room with windows all around and a comfortable futon sofa. Each bedroom and family room are equipped with ceiling fans to take advantage of the cool ocean breeze but window AC units are also In place if needed. Want to relax, play board games or catch up on TV or social media, there is a comfortably furnished living room with large HD Smart TV, cable and wireless internet. Kitchen with compact stove, full size fridge, microwave, dish ware, glass, utensils, coffee maker. A washer and dryer helps you conveniently manage all those beach towels and bathing suits. Beautifully landscaped property with a large private fenced in back yard, deck with patio furniture, large gas grill and a comfortable private outdoor shower. Perfect for small children and pets to play so you can sit back and relax knowing they cannot wander. Walk to Glendon beach and many local restaurants. The shed is full of beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards and beach toys with a beach wagon to use for your convenience. Short drive to Sea St, South Village and West Dennis beaches. Dennisport/Mid Cape offers so much locally but is also the perfect launching point for awesome day trips to Wellfleet/National sea shore, Provincetown or ferry to Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard. Ample parking for 6 vehicles. Beds are left unmade with Bed linen, bath and beach towels available for use. Cottage is professionally cleaned prior to each rental period. Plan to bring consumables such as hand and dish soap, paper towels and trash bags. Trash is picked up from the yard weekly.

We had a nice spring stay in Dennis! This was a great location an easy 5 min walk to Glendon Beach. Since we had to bring our dog, this home was ideal with the fenced in yard with plenty of room to roam. The house was cozy with everything you could need. Would definitely stay here again!

We decided to sneak away for a quick weekend on the cape. Bill’s property was the quintessential cape cottage that’s typical for the area. There were only four of us but the house could have accommodated more if needed with the flexible layout. Although this was off season and chilly, we still made the short walk to the beach and went to a few little restaurants in the adjacent area. If you’re looking for a brand new, luxury property, this may not be the place for you, but it’s great for a laid back, mid-cape, beach cottage experience. The fact that it’s dog friendly was a plus for us, yet showed no signs of previous canine use other than the dog bowls conveniently provided.

Cute little cape house with plenty of room for 4. Great fenced in backyard. Convenient location. Short walk to small beach. Need to drive or bike to some of the other bigger beaches. The biggest downfall was the cleanliness. This is a dog friendly property, but it did not appear to be vacuumed or cleaned sufficiently before our arrival. There was dog hair everywhere. That kind of ruined my experience of staying at this house. With proper cleaning and new couch/living room rug, this property would provide a more pleasant stay.

This house was perfect for us. The location to the beach (.30 miles). Easy walk! Don't spend $30 to park at the beach when you can walk. Fenced in yard was great for the dogs. If you have dogs or even kids that may wander off, no need to worry. Backyard is 100% fenced in. Loved the outdoor shower!! Grill worked great. Easy to get on wifi. TV worked great. All bedrooms have A/C so that was great. The only thing I would say negative is that we thought the cleaners could've done a slightly better job but that doesn't keep me from giving this place 5 stars.

Bill’s cottage is lovely, it’s an older home in an established residential area, minutes from the Ocean and Glendon Beach ! The property is very well maintained, professionally landscaped , clean and comfortable! The cape cod beach themed decor and soft color palette make it very inviting! The best part for us was the beautiful large, pet friendly , fully fenced in yard with lots of space to relax and enjoy a meal cooked on the gas grill that lit on the first try :) Our dogs loved it :) There are window air conditioners in most rooms , and we were happy to have the option to turn the heat on as it was in the 50’s at night! Everything was in working order and we had a wonderful stay ! Bill was super responsive !!

The property was perfect for a family get together, the purpose of which being to spread ashes of the deceased at the nearby ocean beach. You can tell that a lot of time and effort was put into small details that make the stay a great experience. The back yard is fenced in nicely to keep young children and pets safe during the typical commotion that occurs at such gatherings. String lighting above the back porch area kept the party going after sunset, and the parking situation was perfect for our needs. A wonderful experience.

The house was exactly like the posting. We loved being able to walk to the beach. The fenced in yard was perfect for our dog and we really enjoyed the patio and grill. It was nice to have the shed full of beach chairs, umbrellas, and wagons. It was also nice to have the option to use the supplied sheets, bath towels, and beach towels. The washer and dryer were also very useful. We’ll definitely consider staying again!

The backyard is completely fenced in so very safe for small children and pets.
