The house is very nicely furnished, and very comfortable for our family of eight. The host was super easy to communicate with and answered all of our questions immediately. We’re especially grateful for the allowing of pets, we’re hoping to return next year for our annual event. We gave four stars on cleanliness only because of the (very typical for the Tri Cities)) dust on the outside deck furniture. We had a wonderful stay!

We enjoyed our stay at the historic Gold Coast property. The house was clean and beds were very comfortable. Plenty of space. Lots of windows provided abundant light in the living areas. Kitchen is nice with some extras like coffee and spices. The outdoor space with deck were nice but the patio furniture and bbq need an upgrade. Some noise from downstairs apartment but didn’t bother us.
All in all I would recommend this home and would stay here again.

House was large, clean, organized and was perfect to fit a large family.

We enjoyed our stay so much during my husband's 50th class reunion weekend! The house happened to be on the same block as the one my husband and his sister grew up in so it was like old home week. Location was perfect for all our activities and we loved spending time on the deck. The yard was great for our little dog as well.
4.7
Spacious house with all the things for your stay. Each room has a large bed and closet - the blackout shades were great for the kids in the summer. Ample towels and things to use for our weekend stay with family.

I wished the grilled was working but other than that it was great staying here, very quiet and everything was so close by.

Very nice property! Fit our needs to spend time with our Washington family.
Quiet neighborhood close to everything we needed.

The owner is great and the neighbors are so nice. We had a quick but great stay.

We were here for a swim meet, and this house was perfect for our needs. The location is in a nice quiet neighborhood and is super close to Safeway, Starbucks and more. Easy drive to Memorial Aquatic Park. Check-in and check-out were quick and simple. The house is clean, spacious and looks nice inside and out. The kitchen had everything we could need. The beds were comfy, shower is nice and hot. The outdoor areas were also well groomed- nice looking lawn and lavender plants. This property is obviously maintained with care. There were neighbors in the bottom unit while we were there. We could hear them and their dogs sometimes but it didn't disrupt our visit and there were absolutely no smells.

Good affordable place to stay. Could use some upkeep. Convenient.

It was great for all of our family for my daughter’s graduation from college. Everything worked out great only complaint the remote control in the master bedroom. The batteries was dead lol.
4.7
We had plenty of room for everyone. Had everything that you will need for your stay and easily able to find what you’re looking for during the stay. Overall a great place and definitely would recommend as well as stay again if we needed to do so.

This house is in an incredible neighborhood. Blocks from the river. Near great restaurants. Very convenient for getting around tri-cities. The house is very cute. Managed to keep its charm but feels modern. The kitchen lacks quality pots and pans, but I was not cooking big meals while there. Lots of lamps missing lightbulbs.
One thing that is not super clear on the listing is there is a rental apartment in the basement. It was okay for our purposes but if my husband and I had been on a romantic getaway and we discovered there were people below us, we would not have been happy.
There was no one in the lower apartment our first night and things were fine. People arrived the following day and the first evening there was a small hint of cigarette smoke in our upstairs rental. The next day, we entered the rental after being gone all day and GAGGED. The cigarette smell was awful. I contacted the property manager who said she told the downstairs renters they were not to be smoking. We got back to the rental the next day and it still reeked of cigarettes. Not sure if the downstairs people were smoking in their unit or smoking outside the entrance which is just below the entrance of the upper unit. Either way, I had to wash all our clothes that were hanging in closets when we got home because everything smelled! The downstairs group was also quite rowdy so this is not a “you get the whole house” like VRBO advertises.
I don’t think we would rent this place again. :(

We rented this amazing house for Thanksgiving with extended family and it was absolutely perfect! A nice fenced back yard allowed the dogs a safe place to run, and the kitchen was very well appointed for all of our cooking and baking needs. 4, very good sized bedrooms accommodated all of the guests and the two bathrooms were very adequate for our needs. The neighborhood was very quiet, yet only a block from the local Safeway, and 8 miles from the wineries we were scheduled to visit!
The host was very accommodating as well and answered any questions thar arose very promptly.
I highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a comfortable place to stay in the tri-cities area. We were very pleased and would definitely stay here again!

This was our 1st visit to the Richland area. We had searched for a quiet private home for my husband and I and our 2 sweet dogs to visit. We were interested in a private house because we were there for an event and needed a safe place to leave our dogs while we attendant our event. Our check in process was seamless and we were thrilled with the lovely home. That wasn't until we had surprise arrival of the guests thay rented the unknown apartment downstairs. There were 2 full families of 10 people in total staying and at 3 bedroom apartment in the basement of an old house. You can imagine how sound travels in an old house with thin and, and these were loud neighbors. Needless to say, our investment to stay in an expensive private house was not waht we got at all and as a result we were not able to leave our dogs and unattended, they instead had to spend the day in our car because of the noisy neighbors. Also even worse, unfortunately they were smokers although the property was listed as a non smoking home. They smoked on the side patio which was in front of the master bedroom window direcly where we spelt, and they smoked in the appartment which sucked smoke to us upstairs. We couldn't wait to end our stay there. We were very disappointed and surprised as you can imagine, particularly since there was no information in the rental description about this being a 2 rental property. The lower level property clearly described the apartment as a basement until but sadly not the main living quarters.

Exactly what we needed for our two families!

This was a great property, we stay in a lot vrbo properties and this one was very clean and well stocked. We were in town for a family wedding so did not get to take advantage of everything, but I can see how it would be great for a bigger group or family for a longer period of time.*One note we did have our pets and there were some pretty strict directions about the pets such as we must sleep on our own bedding if they sleep with us which makes sense but we did not obviously travel with our own bedding and our dogs did jump up on the beds so it was a bit stressful (as rule followers that we are) Also, There’s a $25 fee if you leave poop in the backyard but we picked up several other piles that were clearly not our dogs. Totally understand just saying…
Overall, great home, well stocked and good location for tri-cities visit.

This property is extremely nice and is very spacious. We had 5 adults and one teen and there was enough room for all of us. The house is decorated in such a cute manner and everything in the house was good quality. It is close to many things and has a great sized kitchen. There were only two things that stood out to me and that was the couches are a little low so my parents who are in their late 60's had trouble getting up from them. the other issue was the internet kept disconnecting on the living room TV but it would come back on quickly, so it was just a little disruptive. Neither issue was enough to make me rate this less than 5 stars.

We were very impressed with the property and the location. It was disappointing to learn that there is a tenant in the basement level, only after we arrived. We go for rentals without shared walls so our dogs can bark freely, which they’ll do whether or not we are with them. Also, there is a sign on the door that says “clean up your dog poop or you will be penalized”, even though the yard is littered with old dog poop that nobody bothered to clean up. Overall, happy with the property just wished the tennant situation was disclosed in the listing.

Great place!
We recently rented Susan’s house for the 4th of July. The house was very clean, and the kitchen was very well-stocked, and all of the cupboards were labeled to easily find anything we needed. It’s in a perfect location. It’s in walking distance to Safeway and Starbucks and only 3 blocks from the river for morning walks and bike rides.
The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is because it’s not clear in the description of the house that the basement level is also a short-term rental. It wasn’t a problem at all, but I do think this needs to be disclosed up front.
Thank you for sharing your lovely home, Susan!
