This property is clean and located in a peaceful setting with million dollar views, as advertised. Although remote, it still has easy access to all freeways, only 30 min. to SFO Airport. Well equipped for the in- and outdoor living spaces.

We went to Hayward to visit family. This was the perfect spot for us to enjoy our evenings. The views were amazing. The kitchen had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable. The outside area was truly AMAZING. I wish we'd had better weather so we could've enjoyed it more. On clear nights you can see the bay bridge and SF beautifully. Host was easy to communicate with and the house rules were simple and reasonable.

Overall, everything was as advertised. We enjoyed the large sliding doors to let fresh air in and take in the views. The large deck was a wonderful place to relax.
The host took care of a lot of little details that sometimes get overlooked at short-term rentals. There was plenty of towels, shampoo/conditioner, paper towels in the kitchen, etc.
Communication back and forth was a breeze which also made the process smooth.
I would stay there again if we were in the area.

A beautiful guest house with breathtaking views. We could not have ask for a better place to stay for our vacation in the Bay Area.

Nice views, into the surrounding valleys and the skyline of SF. The house has everything we needed but could be improved if there was a washer/dryer unit.

Great deck, good location
The deck was incredibly lovely to sit out on in the morning or evenings and enjoy the view/fog! Amenities were good and it was a convenient drive into the city. Our host was very responsive to questions. We would stay again!

Beautiful property
We enjoyed our stay very much. We arrived on a very hot day- and there’s no AC, but once we opened all the beautiful sliders and windows, it helped a lot. The next 2 days the temps were lower and it was very comfortable inside.
The stairs down are fairly steep- but there is a railing to help- I would definitely not recommend for older folks or handicapped.
The decks and porch have amazing views!!
The inside is nicely done.
We would definitely go back!

Wonderful Weekend Trip!
We were in the area watching two of our college kids play sports and needed a safe place that felt like a little luxury away from home. The location and the view hit those marks! Thank you and we will be back again!

Midpoint at Hayward Guesthouse
We stood at the Hayward Guesthouse as a midpoint on our way to the Redwood Coast. The accomodations are excellent for a short term rental and the home is very clean. Seating for the porch is excellent, however the drop off is rather sharp just like the stairway in front of the house. I wouldn't recommend for the very young or the elderly as descending from the parking spot to the home requires a bit of physical dexterity. Bring a good sleep mask if you are the sleep in type or require darkness for sleeping because the room is bathed in natural and ambient light. That being said, it is an excellent alternative to the often expensive Bay area hotels. We are very happy to highly recommend the Guesthouse for your next visit to Hayward.

My daughter's and I stayed overnight to brainstorm some ideas for a project we're working on. Great place for us to get in a good head space to share our thoughts...

Clean comfortable with great views!
I stayed here on a solo retreat. It was the perfect place for me; clean, comfortable and had amazing views. The kitchen had all the appliances you will need. The fridge is medium sized, which fit my food perfectly. But if you travel with all your food or are a group and have a lot of food to keep cool you might need an ice chest.

Heavenly
I am a wife and a mother of 4 wonderful children which 3 are still at home. I was looking for a place of solitude for a couple of days where I could just have some peace and quiet. This space was perfect and had everything I needed. Quiet, private, beautiful views and lots of sunlight throughout. I literally was able to get the rest and relaxation in a 2 night stay as if I had been away from home for a week.
