About this house rental
This captivating bungalow built in 1905 is located one block from downtown Spearfish. Enjoy all the amenities of home, while on vacation. This 2200 square foot home has 2 bedrooms with king beds, and a third sleeping area with a queen size memory foam pull out. One bathroom on upper level and another on the main level of the home. Open living and dining area. Main floor kitchen and laundry room. The spacious back yard is great for pets and kids to run and play safely while adults hang out on the deck around the fire pit and relax. If you want to go downtown and enjoy a night out, it is just a couple minutes walk from the home. The home has easy access to interstate 90 and scenic Spearfish canyon.

We absolutely loved everything about our stay. The location is great and within walking distance to the Main Street. The house itself is beautiful and has so many things available for you (even fully stocked spices!). The bed is very comfortable and the main flower bathroom is amazing with a huge walk-in shower and claw foot tub. We specifically chose this house because we were bringing our dog. This is the most dog-friendly rental we have stayed in! There is a fenced yard, dog door to the backyard, dog wash area right in the entry, and they even had bowls and a treat dish with milk bones. We brought our kennel, but they even have a kennel already there. If you have a dog, this will be a perfect place for you. We loved the older home and the decor was perfect.

The house, yard etc. are great. On Friday and Saturday night we could hear music coming from the bar at the corner of Jackson and Main. However it was not overly loud and did not interfere.

In Spearfish for a wedding and touring. The home was charming and so well appointed for guests. We enjoyed porch sitting at its finest and loved walking downtown for everything you could want. We would love to spend much more time there. So quiet inside as well. Great if you have a pet

We wanted this place so that we could easily walk downtown. It did not disappoint. Additionally, we were very surprised at how quiet it was considering that the front of the home is on Jackson Blvd. The kitchen was well appointed and functional. We enjoyed the nice dining room and living room. For an older home, it didn't have many quirks or creaks.

This is a beautiful, very well-maintained older home in downtown Spearfish. Lawns, Gardens, etc.are immaculate. Well appointed kitchen and big washer/dryer!

It is on a fairly busy street but we did not notice any street noise sleeping.
Our favorite part was sitting on the front porch having coffee or glass of wine. Definitely recommend.

Everything went smoothly with our stay with Colleen and her very comfortable home. Check-in and Check-out was via texting and was simple. Home was really very pleasant with lots of amenities, including numerous grocery items for our enjoyment. While the home could accommodate 6 adults, as it turned out only 4 of us stayed in the home because one daughter lives in an apartment in Spearfish (less than a mile away). Lots of closet space, lots of cooking pots and pans, dishes, etc. and we (all 6) ate most of our meals in this home, since it was convenient to do cooking, which all the family contributed to. Cooked on the small Weber grill on the back porch and the two dogs of the one daughter from Spearfish really enjoyed the fenced in back yard. Overall, couldn't have wanted anything better and we all felt like we were at home in Colleen's home. Highly recommend staying there!

This property was more than expected - there was not 1 detail missed! It was centrally located for our family in town for the Dakota 50 - easy to bike or walk wherever we needed to be. Don't let the location on main thoroughfare scare you away - it was SILENT in the house (brick stucture). Added bonus of being super dog friendly including a dog wash that was most appreciated! It was a clean and comfortable stay! We enjoyed the fenced in yard and deck to it’s fullest potential. It was the perfect central location to do anything in the Hills. There was everything you needed stocked in the kitchen. We all slept well. All in all very accommodating for our two dogs, even equipped with a doggy door!

We've stayed in many vacation rentals over the years and this house was by far one of our favorites. It is perfect for two couples, with upper and lower suites. Spearfish is a great town, close enough to all the sights, but away from the hustle and bustle. Communication with the owner was top notch! We would definitely stay here again if we're in the area.

We enjoyed our stay in Spearfish to do some sightseeing and to attend the rally events in the area. Walking distance to Main St. in Spearfish. Close to Spearfish Canyon. House and yard were immaculate. We did not bring our dog, but this house is set up to be pet friendly! Would definitely consider staying here again.

This house was perfect for our family. The fenced in yard allowed our boys to kick the soccer ball around and our dog to get his sniffing in :). Spearfish is a really nice town and we loved all the parks and recreation options there. We hope to come back at some point!

Easy Check-in, walkable to bars/restaurants, easy/ quick access to the interstate, great outdoor space, very well stocked kitchen, located along a main road but house is situated far back on the lot so road noise was not an issue, and most importantly my parents loved this property.

We had a great stay at this beautiful home. The check-in process could not have been easier, and it was immaculately clean. We loved the location within walking distance to great coffee shops, ice cream, restaurants, and shopping. My husband and son enjoyed flyfishing in Spearfish Creek. The kitchen was well-equipped for cooking evening meals and the deck was a lovely space to enjoy an evening glass of wine. All in all, a wonderful experience staying at this home. We hope to return!

We really enjoyed our stay. The home is equipped with anything you could ever need. It was just our small family but would be large enough for 2 families. Our doggie was comfortable there, too. The property was a great weekend get away home. The home was clean. There was plenty of room for all us to spread out but still allow togetherness. The location was prefect. It was close to downtown. I walked downtown and enjoyed all the neat shops. The location allowed easy access to Black Hill State for my daughter's basketball tournament. This place had old charm yet in a very nice and updated house. The hosts were very accommodating and provided many extras. The space for pets (in this case a dog) was impressive. We will stay there again in the future if the opportunity presents itself. The host even provided beautiful Holiday decorations for our stayl.

We liked everything about this beautiful property. The home is charming, well-stocked, clean, and really comfortable. The location was perfect for us. We walked or biked to the park, restaurants, and the ice cream shop. We appreciated the lush fenced yard for our pup and the dog beds throughout the home. The host was easy to communicate with and accommodating about our check-in and checkout times. (We would love to just move in!)

The house was so cute. Everything needed for a stress free visit was in the home. Walking distance to downtown with shops and restaurants and bars. Checking in was super simple, and contacting the homeowner with a couple of questions was easy, and she replied right away. It is also a dog friendly place. Perfect location, great for the family
Loved the location and history of the home, plus the fresh raspberries were a hit with family, and local bunny! The house was perfect for us and our two children, 4 and 6, and watching the kids play on the grass from the front porch was pure joy. The owners were beyond helpful and communicative. We look forward to visiting again in the near future.

Perfection in Spearfish
This is easily the nicest rental property we have stayed at. First, the home was clean, very clean! Second, the property is beautiful, kitchen was great, back deck was wonderful, living room was cozy, bedrooms comfortable, and the bathrooms are spectacular. Third, property has excellent parking (we had two pickups) and is within walking distance to the main street of town (food, ice cream). The fenced in back yard was perfect for our dogs, and the home had many dog beds, and other little touches to accommodate dogs (including a pet wash). The last thing we really enjoyed was the laundry, so nice to be able to wash clothes on our extended trip. Overall if I could rate this property higher, I would...
