We had two very nice week in Selsey and feld very welcome. With a lots of relaxing, swimming in the sea (take some water schoes to avoid the gravel at the beach), sightseeing, fine cooking and some hiking, we had a very good time. Thank you Shaun, for sharing seagulls

Lovely property, particularly enjoyed the well kept garden and the sea view.
Although it is a very peaceful and beautiful area, it is a little too quiet for us - for a whole week. Would definitely return for a short break.

Excellent property with sunny garden and plenty of living space.
Perfectly positioned across the road from the beach and a dog walking green and just 10 minutes walk, passed a pond full of wildlife, you’ll find a great bakery, butchers and grocers.
Pubs and High Street just 20 minutes walk.
To top it all there was THE most amazing jam sponge cake waiting for us on arrival! Definitely worth a visit!

Lovely stay at this quirky house - everything we needed was there including tea coffee and milk and a yummy cake which was very welcoming when we arrived. Great to able to just walk over to the beach as it was so near and good location for Chichester and Bognor. The Piggery was nice for a lunch and the Broadway cafe in Selsey did a fantastic breakfast.

We had a lovely two night stay in characterful Seagulls.
We were very comfortable, the accommodation was beautifully clean and very well equipped. Very spacious for 6 of us staying there.
The beds were clean and comfy and the bedrooms warm and cosy. In fact on our first night there was apparently a huge storm! But I knew nothing about it, the beds and room at Seagulls were so comfy I slept through it!
We found plenty to do locally despite the weather and enjoyed coming back to seagulls to relax each evening. I have already recommended seagulls to my sister and hope to return again ourselves sometime.

A return visit after 7 years with my children and (now all adult) grandchildren. Seagulls continues to be comfortable, quirky and welcoming. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything we needed and Selsey's well-stocked Co-op is a short drive away.
We loved the delicious cake that greeted us on our arrival, thank you Shaun and Russell!

We booked Seagulls in Selsey for our annual girls holiday, and it really was the perfect setting. Its quirky, and the owners have really gone the extra mile with attention to detail with the railway related bits such as signs and 'GWR' loo roll holder. Very clean, and felt very homely, with a homemade cake to have with tea on arrival. It was the perfect setting for a group of dear friends to enjoy each others company and the house.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Seagulls and wish we were still there.
The property is very well equipped, comfortable & roomy. The garden is private with a lovely round table and chairs plus loungers, and on a sunny day it's a great place to have a leisurely brunch, lunch or dinner.
There is sufficient parking for two cars and the beach is a few meters away. You can walk along the sea wall to any number of fresh seafood stalls. It's a 10 minute walk to the local shops where there is a bakery, butchers, newsagents, small supermarket and a nice fish and chip shop.
Hosts are very responsible and helpful and make a mean Victoria sponge cake!
Would highly recommend!

Quirky place in great location. Garden is a sun trap and all you hear is birdsong.

Seagulls will make you smile the moment you walk and and look from room to room it has a genuine charm and a soul. There was even a Seagull on the chimney when we arrived.
The three kids all had a room and they all loved their chosen rooms and no fall out ( a first!)
Sitting in the garden looking up at the sky listening to the waves nearby is a very relaxing experience.
The upstairs living space is also a very relaxing place to be in the evening.
You can probably tell we loved Seagulls, a great find and did not disappoint.
Thank you Shaun and Russell, a lovely quirky holiday home.

Unusual quirky property. Close to beach location

Seagulls is the most creative and stylish conversion of railways carriages encapsulating the seaside theme throughout. We had a very pleasurable and comfortable stay. It was such a relief that the kitchen was well stocked with equipment which allowed for home cooking on a large scale! Nothing had been forgotten and all was perfect. We will definitely be booking again! Thank you Shaun and Russell so much for your care and thought.

Quirky property, well presented in a quiet location. Good accessibility to convenience shops. Perfect layout for our family stay. Ignited an interest to find out more about the other train carriage conversions from the 1920s in the area - fascinating
