About this apartment rental

You'll feel relaxed in this very large (1800 ft.²), beautiful, very well lit with natural light, private entrance basement apartment that is only about 1 mile from the mouth of Little Cottonwood Canyon (Snowbird and Alta resorts) and 3.3 miles from Big Cotton Wood Canyon (Solitude and Brighton). Take in breathtaking views on countless hiking and biking trails.

This 3 bedroom apartment has a private entrance. It has a large fully equipped kitchen, outdoor bbq, dining room, living room with 2 large screen TVs, a laundry room, very fast internet and a fireplace for you to enjoy.
Relax on the hammock and chairs as you take in the mountain views, blue skies and fresh air.

Natural light floods much of this private basement apartment. One of the bedrooms even has sliding glass doors leading out to the pool.
The apartment is just over 1800 sq. ft.

Relax in the private, year long heated pool, fire pit and bbq. Or go check out the great restaurants in the neighborhood.

You'll have full access of your own private washer dryer units as well.
All three bedrooms are large. The smallest room has a full size bed and also a three bed bunk bed. Not (2) two bed bunk beds. Vrbo does not have a choice for that when describing rooms.
Space is not an issue in this Vrbo.

Coffee pods are provided for the Keurig coffee maker as well as a french press and italian moka coffee maker so you can get your energy up for the local activities.

Just to let you know there is a camera that monitors the pool area ONLY, just for security. There are NO interior cameras.
Let me know if you have any questions about the pool or fire pit. They are there for your private use year round.

This property and host were both beyond our expectations! It was completely as advertised and then some. Some unexpected weather came through one afternoon and the host went above and beyond to make sure that my children were still able to use the pool and it made their day! Thank You!

We absolutely loved this place. We loved that it was in a quiet neighborhood yet it was close to all the places we wanted to visit. Heated pool was so much fun. The host was quick to respond to any questions we had. We would definitely recommend it and would stay there again.

We loved our stay. The pool was warm and fun to use during the day and the evening. The apartment was spacious and the beds were big and comfy. TVs were large with lots of comfortable chairs in the living room. Nice neighborhood that was very peaceful and quiet. Close to everything we needed though. Thanks. 😊 We would definitely stay again.

Great communication throughout stay and very responsive to requests. Location is in a quiet neighborhood that is centrally located for family activities such as Lagoon, Park City, and Thanksgiving Point. Pool was great! Nice and warm. Rooms are large and beds are comfortable.

We were recently in Utah for a Volleyball tournament for mu daughter. We syayed here and loved it. My girls loved the pool. There was plenty of room and very clean. There were two adults a.d 4 kids. Definitely recommend to families!

We had a great stay at this apartment with our daughter & 4 grandchildren. Our grandkids had so much fun in the bedroom that had a triple bunk bed and there was a larger bed there that our teenage grandkids switched off sleeping in. The kitchen was spacious and clean. The pool was clean and warm. It had a nice cover to keep leaves and other objects out. The neighborhood was nice with large trees and felt safe. Stan was very helpful and gave us lots of information. We highly recommend this clean, safe and comfortable property.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The place was much bigger then what we all thought it would be and everything was very clean. We only stayed two nights and we all wished we could have stayed longer to enjoy the pool more. I would highly recommend staying here!

We had a couple of days to spend in SLC and this spot was perfect! Easy access and Sandy is a great location to get to some trails quickly! The apartment was well appointed with basic amenities and the pool was a great bonus! Would highly recommend!

Property was beautiful and in a very quiet neighborhood. Host was extremely easy to work with and he was very quick to respond to all questions I had regardless of the time! Loved the private pool feature! The only thing that would have made the property better would have been a 2nd bathroom, otherwise it was a fantastic choice for our family to stay!

We had a great stay at Stans place. Kids enjoyed the pool and the giant tv for movies. My husband and I enjoyed the location near Dimple Dell and got to do some beautiful little hikes. Stan was always quick to respond. He even checked in to see if we were comfortable temperature wise since the thermostat is located upstairs in the main living space. Overall it was great for my family and I would return in the future.

We had a great stay at Stan’s place for a short ski trip! Very spacious, great amenities, excellent communication with host and cozy beds! The location is perfectly situated right outside little cottonwood. With clear traffic/conditions can get up to the mountain quick! Got dumped on with snow during our stay and our walk was shoveled which was very nice. Great place to come back to after a ski day.

Cozy place and great location for skiing. No driveway or garage parking for property but there is plenty of street parking which worked out fine except for when there was a huge snowstorm. We got buried in ans has to dig car out, so would be nice if there was a snow shovel, equipment, or an alternative to parking for snowy days.

Beautiful place at the foot of the mountain in Sandy. Convenient central location, and reasonable price. Spacious bedroom, great TV room to relax. Stan is great with communication.

The place is a very large walk-out basement in a nice neighborhood, very close to the Cottonwood Canyon. It is clean, well equipped with very comfortable king beds in the 2 primary bedrooms. The host, Stan responds very quickly and is extremely helpful. Since the hosts live upstairs you can sometimes hear their steps.

I rented Stan’s apartment during a ski trip with my two sons. It was clean, spacious, and with every convenience we could ask for. The kitchen is large and fully equipped. The family room has two movie theater reclining seats which were great - we watched a movie each night. The location also couldn’t be better: 20 minutes drive to the slopes in one direction on weekdays, and 20 minutes to downtown Salt Lake City in the other. The cherry on top: one of my sons left his shaving kit behind by mistake. Stan was kind enough to mail it back to us. A most thoughtful gesture by a first-rate host!!

We loved this home! This space was much larger than what we needed for just the two of us, but never felt too big. We felt cozy, while still having room to spread out, inside or out! The furnishings were incredibly comfortable. The location can't be beat! The mountains loomed near by but it was easier to just walk the short distance to the park through the beautiful neighborhood. Stan helped us out whenever we needed, but gave us the space we needed to feel completely alone. I will be recommending this property to anyone who will listen, so book now while you have the chance!

Stan’s basement apartment was clean, bright, spacious, and comfortable! It was nice being able to have our pup there with us, and our kids absolutely loved the pool and the massive tv in the family room. Stan was incredibly responsive and was super kind anytime we saw or interacted with him. We would love to come stay again!

We wanted a place for our family of 5 to stay so we could visit with other family that we haven’t seen in years! This place was perfect! We could have had a few more stay with us! The apartment was clean, the rooms are big, had all the accommodations including a nice pool! We invited a few of our family to come over to swim and hang out. The location is beautiful and has a lot of stores and restaurants near. The check in was easy and Stan was very nice and helpful. We had such a great time! We will definitely recommend this apartment and will stay again.

This property was in a great location, excellent communication with the host, comfortable beds and huge tv which was fun to watch NBA finals on. The pool was the greatest draw and did not disappoint. I would highly recommend this to others!

This home was perfect for three adults and two 3 year olds. We stayed for 3 nights. The apartment was clean and furniture was comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with an assortment of basic herbs and spices and all the cookware and items you need to prepare meals. There was toddler proof dinnerware and ceramic for the adults.. There was also selection of coffees and teas, sugar and sweeteners to go along with the Kureg and tea kettle. There were 2 smart Tv's and we had all the apps we had at home. The adult bedrooms were large and the beds soft and comfortable. The kids bedroom was perfect for our 3 year olds. Nothing in there to break. The host responded immediately to questions and comments. I highly recommend this place for families or anyone who wants a home from home.
