About this house rental

Surround yourself in sophisticated island whimsy at Alvarez II (5BR/4.5BA - 3K, 2Q, 2S; Sleeps 12) located in the popular "Point" area of Edisto Beach. This gorgeous home offers an expansive deck that presents countless opportunities to view dolphins, boaters, birds, and artistic sunsets. Soak in the sweet southern evenings while you rock along with the sound of ocean waves as your soundtrack. The main floor features an open kitchen/living/dining combination as well as the primary suite (1K) and comfortable guest room (2S). The rest of your group can spread out on the second floor where they will enjoy 2 spacious en-suite guest rooms, each with a King bed, as well as a comfortable guest room with 2 Queen beds. The ground level features a screened patio which is a great place to chill and grill with plenty of paved covered parking. A bright and poised interior is beaming with joyful sunlight and charisma providing a lovely reminder to savor the peace of your beach vacation. No detail has been overlooked to ensure your comfort. Free WiFi and cable access in will keep each guest entertained if a brief afternoon shower interrupts your sunny day on the beach. Fun Fact: Hollywood Actor, Ed Harris, starred in the movie Radio in 2003. The movie was filmed in Walterboro, SC and he played the role of Coach Jones, the head football coach. While working on the film, Mr. Harris stayed on Edisto. After looking at several homes, he settled on the Alvarez house for his "home away from home."

Perfect Getaway
Perfect Getaway
This house is beautiful with lots of room for a relaxing week. There were plenty of rockers on the porch to enjoy the sunrises and sunsets. I was looking for a place close to the beach and this property fit that bill! I was pleased with how clean the house was and the kitchen was well stocked. There is no elevator and lots of steps but two bedrooms with full baths on the main level helped accommodate all of our family. We rented linens and beach umbrellas from Edisto Essentials which made packing much easier. I would definitely recommend this property and will hopefully be back next year!
